French pedicure done by Linh! Found this shop by yelp of course and it is a block away from my gym. When I read that Henry (he seems to be the manager or owner) plays the acoustic guitar upon request, I was interested in getting my nails done here. My pet peeve at salons is when the techs try to sell me on a service and have a pushy way of doing it. Linh is so sweet natured that she was not pushy at all when she offered callous removal and a manicure. She has a gentle touch with the calf massage. Henry played the acoustic guitar for us and he did a wonderful job! I was not able to take photos of that as there was a customer in the pedicure chair adjacent to where he was. I was the last customer of the day until 6:40ish PM midweek. Henry and another tech left for the day around 630. The salon is clean and small with 3 techs. They take ca$h, Zelle, and credit cards preferably cash or Zelle. Located in a large strip mall that has Von's and Dollar Tree. Be careful in the huge parking lot. There are cars coming from multiple directions. If you're around Redondo or Torrance area and need a mani/pedi, Lovely Nails is a great shop to support local biz! read more

First and last time I will go here. Called and said they could take me. I get there maybe 20 minutes later then they turn me away then, they say they will take will take me. My feet needed extra love so they then decided to turn me away. They were rude about it also. Even when I walked inside the vibe was uncomfortable. They were Very standoffish. read more

Ivy did a beautiful job on my nails! She added an extra layer like I asked and even did a beautiful design to top it off! Only reason I'm giving four stars is because I had a 30 minute wait even with an appointment. Staff were incredibly friendly though and made it a nice experience. Linh (forgive me if I misspelled her name) did my nails last minute a few hours before closing and she's such a perfectionist I LOVE IT. I just wanted my old gel from a prior salon off, and a simple thicker french tip gel done since I'll be traveling and unsure when my next manicure can be done. She did exactly as I requested and even told me a great place to eat when I'm in Gardena :) I'm not chatty and I tend to get sleepy when getting my nails or hair done, but I appreciate her company and craftsmanship. BAD... Nails Extensions- Glue was not removed from under extensions, I had to file the glue off when I got home. Terrible file job, each nail was uneven with fragments of nail glue and tip plastic underneath... had to come home Refile, push back glue, and cuticles were not pushed back, I had to push the cuticles back and then do a new gel clear coating. He did do a decent job on the top shape... Fifty dollars... They don't talk at all, i could have recommended tons of customers. read more

Henry has been doing my nails for months and has done the most amazing job with my acrylic sets. I go every two weeks because I need to change the color BUT they last wayyy longer if needed. Henry, Lily and Lin are all wonderful it doesn't matter who you get your nails will look great. I started coming here when I decided to stop wearing acrylics and my nails were so damaged. Henry talked me into getting gel and it has been wonderful my natural nails are so healthy. I don't know what brand he uses but taking the gel polish off is so easy, just soak in acetone for a couple of minutes and you can scrape it off with your fingernail. read more

Spent countless hours reading reviews and finally decided to come here and i couldn't be happier with the service and how my nails turned out! Henry was very accommodating and did a great job, even fixing my ripped nail from gel nail mishap in the long past. The lady who did my pedi also was great (I forgot to take her name) and did a good job with my callus removal. I normally bring cash esp for tips but because of my trip has changed purse and didn't have any on me! They took my credit card without making a big fuss or tried to charge more like some places. I came here at the suggestion of my coworker. I couldn't be more happy with the outcome. I usually get a clear dip with colored gel on top. I noticed that colored dip tends to stain my nails ‍ The dip came out perfect, not overly thick like the last dozen places I've tried. I am a good client and rarely do I have any issues with service. so this place Is not about service but knowledge. I was a walking and I needed to have my nail polish removed. this process takes minimal 20 between bidding the top, to soak with cotton and foil to remove without any damage to the nail. i do this often so I know. the girl who assisted me soaked my nails 5 min. geabbed the auto filer as thick and harder than I've ever seen and wanted to buff until the gel was gone. I said I didn't want to damage my nails to use the normal method. she proceed to say "gel Is hard and It won't come off soaking so needed to scrape It off". sorry, this was in leas than 10 minutes and ready to yank my nails. No. don't settle for the quick job and lazy job. the prices aren't cheap and we do deserve quality. so not saying don't go here but be aware of what you need to have done and learn how things should be done so you don't get the short end of the stick. read more

Booked an appointment for a fill and a pedi the day before. They overbooked people and told me I had to reschedule for my pedicure. Was getting my acrylic fill and it was a complete rushed job, the finished product looks like my nails have grown out. The polish is patchy/ has a cloudy uneven look. I asked for the nail tech to refile my nails as they were uneven and I wanted a coffin shape, he said they were already coffin shape... they're square. Would not go back here. I had gel on and the tech made me soak my nails in acetone and then she tried filing them down. After three attempts, she didn't get all the gel off but still painted over them even when the prior gel wasn't completely off yet. Now I have to go back to another place to have it done correctly. I just moved to the area and was in need of a new gel mani/pedi. Lovely nails came up and I was happy to give them my business because they are highly rated on yelp. The salon is located in the same shopping center as the Dollar Tree but is next door to the liquor store (I think it was a liquor store). There is nothing special about the decor of the salon, however, all of the technicians are nice and make you feel welcome. For me, this is a major plus! I stopped by on a Friday afternoon and they were able to seat me and get started on my nails right away. My nails were cleaned up and polished nicely. My only complaint is that the gel colors are super misleading/don't match the color on the model. Other than that, I will be back if I am ever in need again. Covid compliant- a fantastic group of people and they do a great job. I'm super picky and I love how my nails and toes turned out!

Called this morning to see if they had any availability and luckily they did! Met Henry and his team and this is by far the QUIETEST nail shop. Him and his team are more interactive with guests as opposed to speaking to each other. I came in for a removal and shellac manicure. Took about an hour and 15 all around. However, what I was most impressed about was when Henry walked by over to where I was sitting, he noticed my phone was cracked and I told him, yeah I need to get it fixed ASAP! He let me know that he could do it while my nails were getting done and charged a competitive rate. So I said sure, why not? Might as well get both done at the same time, and it's one less stop for me! My phone came out beautifully (texting on it now) and it was done before my nails were. All I can say is THANK YOU HENRY and team for the experience and going above and beyond! :) read more

Hi. I normally don't leave a Review. However I think it's important you know what you are getting for your Gel Manicure. My Gel manicure was all Gel "No" Manicure. My nails weren't cleaned or soaked. My nail beds unattended to. No hand massage. And I paid full price plus tip $70 plus. The equipment wasn't wiped down. Place is dirty. The end result turned out ok. But for the price really disappointed at the lack of service. Lovely nails. I think you do good work. But need to up your game. To many other places to go. read more

So when I checked yelp and saw this salon was so close to my doctors office, I swallowed everything I had and went to get treated. The pedicure... Meh. Not so great but my full set?!
