I got a full set acrylic refill and gel here and they were good. A couple nails were filed crooked but I got the almond shape so it didn't show too much. Staff were nice (I got Aileen), customer service is good BUT they use cheap products w/ MMA. It has been about 3 weeks since and I'm removing my acrylics at home. What you would do is soak your nails in acetone and it should be easy to scrape off/come off. This spa uses MMA in their acrylic powder--I would recommend never coming here for an acrylic set or fill. MMA is a terrible chemical for your nails and it is illegal in a few states. You can tell they used MMA because right after you soak your nails in acetone and scrap the acrylic off, it's a gooey sticky mess. It has taken me 2 days to fully remove my acrylics with a combination of acetone soaking and filing. There is a post below from another customer saying that the nail did NOT soak their nails in acetone but instead used the drill and would yank the nail off with force. The reason being that MMA gets this result when soaked in acetone (see pic) Do research, do not go to a salon that has "cheaper" pricing.
Hi. I went today to get a pedicure. Cathy did an amazing job. Both ladies Illens And Cathy are super sweet and make you feel comfortable and at home. Thanks ladies. I'll be back,,!!!!
Always available when I need an appointment & they take special care of my toes. Prices are cheap & you can be in & out in 30 mins.
Desperately needed to get my nails done after a year in quarantine-times and called this salon after an extensive search on Yelp. I was able to get an appointment right away and was greeted by Eileen at the door. Let me tell you--I've never had a more relaxed nail appointment in my life. Usually when I go to a nail tech I'm always prepared for some accidental pain, but Eileen was so nice and gentle during the entire process! I got a full acrylic set with gel and Eileen made sure to check in with me through the entire process (length, shape, and color). I was especially pleased with the fact that she painted one finger and made sure I liked the color and the way it looked before moving on to the rest. She also gave me some time to look over the finished set and asked if I had any changes in mind before proceeding to payment. A little note: prices have been raised a bit than what is previously pictured (but not by much). However, after this pandemic, I'm not mad about supporting this small business I paid $40 +tip for a full acrylic set & gel polish. They do accept venmo/card but prefer that you tip with cash. Also, masks are worn and plexiglass is installed They do be Covid-safe! TLDR;; Eileen is fantastic, prices are great, card accepted, tip in cash, COVID-safe
Friendly and welcoming staff, great location and very accommodating. Spa is closed Mondays, so schedule by calling ahead and make an appointment ahead of time. Although it says that walk-in are welcome, the customers groan a bit because it is a tight and busy little nail spa and we wish we had it all to ourselves. Prices are fair, color selection is very broad, and customers I feel very rested and relaxed having nails done. Other services offered too.
Very low key but does excellent job! I didn't feel the usual rush -revolving door most nails salons do! Small crew so make sure make the appointment. Love that they care, I came in with the worst cough & I had to get my nails done to feel human after being sick for days cooped up in my house... Highly recommended & cant beat their prices!!
I really wanted to love this place, but unfortunately I'll never be coming back. My gel manicure chipped on multiple fingers in less than 4 days. The women were really nice, but I can't justify spending $32 on a gel manicure that doesn't even last half a week.
I try to be kind and give people/places the benefit of the doubt, but pretty disappointed and will not be back. Went in mainly for acrylic nail. The woman didn't soak my nails in acetone (or any type of softening/remover) before trying to chip and peel the acrylics off. She nicked my fingers a few times with the drill without apology or even just acknowledgement and one of the spots is even bloody. I ended up deciding to just get a clear regular polish because I didn't trust they could put gel on without additional damage to my nails. The clear polish they used is already lifting off my nails, not even an hour later. The shape she tried to do on my natural nails doesn't look great or consistent. (You can see this in my pictures). Also on here it shows they accept Apple Pay, but they don't.
Aileen does the best job on my nails. She always picks out the perfect colors when I show her a picture of what I want. She also is very good at nail art. I love how I can just text her asking for appointment availability. She also has another great person working with her who also does nails and pedicures. Best of all; great location and prices!
What a wonderful experience at Redondo Nails & Spa! The technicians were so lovely and so helpful as I drove through the city in search of a nice relaxing gel mani and pedicure. Hannah took very good care of me, I'm so happy with her work. She took care of both, my gel manicure and pedicure. So talented! She did such an incredible job - I couldn't be happier. The staff here is very professional. Parking was great, spots directly in front of the shop and on the side street. I appreciate the ladies at Redondo Nails & Spa! Thank you for making my experience truly lovely - and relaxing!
walk in and ask about getting a gel manicure. they said they are busy until 10:30. one employee working on someone and another not busy. I feel profiled. first and last time going to this place. tried to support small business but this is not how you make customers feel. 5/31/23

I never get my nails done. And I mean never. I decided to treat myself with a mani/pedi. Can you believe it only cost me $27+tip?!? Such a good deal. Everyone there is beyond nice. They really try to make you comfortable and satisfied. Hannah and Lucy were their names. So sweet. Slight language barrier though. I asked for a matte mauve on my nails and even showed a picture but they made it matte grey (Grey was the color of my toes). I didn't realize until one hand was already halfway done and I didn't have the heart to ask her to do it over. Still came out great. No complaints. They accept tip by card but prefer cash instead. Maybe that's at every nail salon though. Not sure. It's also a small space. But they make it work. You'll find it in the corner of a plaza. Plenty of street parking as well read more

This review is long overdue but Hannah had great attention to detail for my wedding nails and made me feel like a princess. She spent the time and my gel nails lasted over a month! I have never had such beautiful nails before and even without powder she achieved the look I wanted. Reasonable prices, excellent service, great company and beautiful ombré nails. Will definitely be back read more

Eileen does a great job with my nails. I always feel like a million bucks with freshly done nails. She listens to my needs and files my nails exactly the way I want, the style I want and cleans up my cuticles thoroughly. Some nail shops are sloppy with their fills, but not Aileen. She makes sure your nails are well taken care of. I've been seeing her since she was at the old location before it caught on fire. I'm so happy to have found her! She's back and has resurrected the nail shop to a nearby location. It's freshly renovated and clean. I am very picky with my nails and have gone all around town trying to find a good nail shop. Aileen has made me a loyal customer with how she has taken care of me. And she can do the same for you. Once you have her do your nails, you'll wanna keep going back to her. People like her don't come dime a dozen. read more

OMG!! I am SO grateful my friend referred me to Redondo nails and spa! I am new to getting my nails done and tried three other people before I met Aileen. Lots of people want to get the powder dip over their nails, but I had the worst experience with another nail salon in South Redondo beach. I tried another nail salon in Manhattan Beach and that was even worse, the lady kept cutting my nail bed. So finally my friend Recommended that I go to Redondo nails and spa. I can't begin to tell you how amazing my nails are! She did exactly what I wanted her to do and in less time than everybody else. They are very friendly and the place is nice and clean. If you want an EXCELLENT job on your nails,, you gotta go here read more

This is my mom's favorite place- she treated me to a gel mani/pedi while I was visiting during my birthday. I totally understand why! Eileen and Hannah know their stuff! Hannah did my gel mani and pedi- I rarely see this kind of attention to detail- both with my cuticles/nails as well as the polish application. I'm super impressed-contemplating visiting my mother more frequently simply so I can get my nails done here in the regular! The shop is clean and Hannah and Eileen are both so kind and nice- even after I dropped my iced latte the minute I walked in the door. What a gem of a salon! Thanks Hannah! I love my nails :D read more
