UPDATE: They were very mean, argumentative. The guy that put gel over my broken nail did not do dip. I said to fix it I need dip powder over the broken nail. He refused and put gel instead. I said it would break if he put gel and he didn't listen to me. Sure enough it broke in 1 day. No, I didn't originally have my nails made there, but as a client I should be able to go to them if I need a broken nail fixed. The guy was very rude. He yelled at me in front of my 9-year-old telling me to "DON'T COME BACK HERE! TAKE YOUR MONEY AND DON'T COME BACK!" Who does this? Who says this to a client? If you want to get your nails done. Don't come here. They are nasty, rude, argumentative, etc. To Management: Do not worry I will not go back to your nail salon. I will take my money elsewhere. As a matter of fact, I got my nail fixed somewhere else and they were very nice. They were not mad that I came in to get a broken nail fixed. I have to say I will not ever go anywhere else as long as it's here...and I hope that is a LONG time!! I personally just do pedicures & I went today with my mom on her birthday & let her have the appointment with Alice who is my hands down FAVORITE...she is incredible. We've both been there before & this time I set her up with Alice & my appointment was with Holly...who did not disappoint. My mom said after her appointment with Akice...that Alice is the only one she wants to go to now. . Which I get because she is exceptional...but Holly was really great so I was happy to know it's not just Alice that's great...anyway the place has a GREAT vibe...its quiet & it's not a factory...like some places..there's probably 20 chairs & they connect with you & are so nice....they don't rush you. I usually do the luxe pedicure..55...super pampering...today I did the 45 one which was fantastic too...just a beautiful pedicure in a beautiful place. My sister & niece do their nails there but I'm not up on that but they seem happy. I just love this place...and Alice. I hope they stay here a long time!! I am very disappointed about this place. My friend came to get her nails done here so I decided to get a simple French tip gel polish. I like my nails short and anywhere I go I get French tips, anyway the lady's excuse to the uneven tips was that my nails were too short. Most recently--either Monday or Friday, I don't recall the exact day--I had scheduled an appointment and specifically requested a certain technician. When I arrived, I was told to sit with someone else. I explained that I preferred to wait for the technician I had originally requested. Instead of owning the mistake, the woman Mia - owner of shop at the front told me it was a "computer glitch" and said I could either come back later or reschedule. She didn't apologize, didn't try to make it right, and didn't offer any form of resolution. I left feeling like my time and loyalty didn't matter. The attitude was basically, "Don't let the door hit you on the way out." To be completely honest, as a dark-skinned Hispanic woman, I couldn't help but wonder if there was something deeper going on. When I got home and told my daughter what happened, she was upset and posted a review about the experience. I eventually asked her to take it down because that's not really the type of person I am--but I did want to express how hurt and disappointed I felt. Despite that experience, I decided to give them another chance. I thought maybe she was overwhelmed or just having a bad day. So I called just now to try to make another appointment--but once again, she was very short and rude. This time she flat-out told me, "We're not going to see you because you left a bad review." Still, no accountability for the original mistake--just blame and poor attitude. Mia and Vincent As the owners of this business, I expected better. It might be time to take a step back and invest in some customer service training--not just for yourselves, but for your staff as well. This review is for Natalie. I used to drive 2 mins to see her, now I drive 35 mins because of her designs. Whenever I send her an inspiration pic, Natalie is able to execute the designs I wants. She takes her time to perfect them to my liking so I leave satisfied with my nails. When I want a more complicated design, she'll take her time to practice before my appointment. Mignonne is one of the best nail salons I've been to! Their salon is super clean and sooo cute. They have these pink touches everywhere and it just makes the place feel so cute and relaxing. I will admit, they are a bit expensive, but I'd rather pay a bit more so I can get good quality and customer service. This review is specifically for Natalie who made my hard gel fill manicure experience very uncomfortable. I politely asked if she could cut my cuticles and she said that she could for an extra $10 charge. After I said that it was OK, she spent the rest of the time doing my nails angrily, tossing her tools around, grabbing my fingers too tight and just being plain rude. I had three day old manicure. Looks like I've had them for three weeks. She never even said anything after she finished, horrible customer service from her only and unnecessary attitude. read more

I love Mignonne! I've been coming here for so long and I get a variety of sets. This gold floral was my most recent and the only nail art I've ever had but so amazingly done. They're constantly upgrading everything to make it better for the customer. Super easy for walk ins but I recommend doing an appointment if you have something intensely specific or want to guarantee service right away (they get really busy on weekends holidays and after typical 9-5 work hours so sometimes you'll have to wait.) Even if I try other places I always end up coming back to here. Gel x is great but so is acrylic (my mainstay). Gel pedicures are great and so is just a plain color manicure. Everyone is HIGHLY skilled at pretty reasonable prices for their level. So many colors, choices, treatments, etc. The website is always up to date with prices. read more

Finding a good nail salon is difficult but it was my first time here and my experience was smooth and seamless! I called in and scheduled my appointment day of and they confirmed I can come in. I did acrylic gel nails (no removal) with a design. Acrylic starts at $60 and I added a design for $10. They are quick and very skilled. They don't do additional spa treatment or cuticle pushing before starting but they did cut my nails a bit. I would definitely come back here!! read more

Only good things to say about this nail salon! I went in yesterday for a gel pedicure ($50) & full Gel-X set manicure ($80) . I called the morning of and they were able to book me a same-day appointment and when I arrived I waited no more than 2 minutes. This nail bar is extremely clean and I saw one of the employees clean my pedicure station thoroughly and insert a new bag before I sat down. All the employees seemed super sweet and greeted me with a smile. Mia did my Gel-X set and she was amazing. I've had Gel-X done many times before but have truly never had someone be so thorough throughout the entire process. I never once felt rushed and she was so patient with me as I was very picky about the length and shape of my nails. The photo I showed her for inspiration on Pinterest was basically copied perfectly. This is by far the best set I've ever had done. Alice did my gel pedicure and it was again, amazing. She truly took her time and my toes look great and feel great. She really knows what she's doing and you can tell she puts a lot of energy and effort into each client. Overall, this is my new spot! Super clean, employees are so friendly and great at what they do, and the prices are fair. Came here with a Yelp check-in which they didn't honor--and when I pointed out they should fix that, they just looked confused. So that's the extra star removed... Did the $45 pedicure which included callus treatment. They don't scrape here, but when I told my technician that I need my calluses buffed down, and she took a look at just how bad they are, she used her electric sander tool. Massage chair was comfortable and they did a nice job massaging too. Given that not honoring the Yelp check in saved them $2.25 and a star, wish they had made a different choice. It isn't the $, but the principle of it, and the sense of stinginess marred an otherwise fine experience. read more

They burned my cuticles. She used a rough drill bit on full blast and cut and scraped my cuticles. I did not have any polish on my nails or feet. I had gel x installed 3 days before from another salon. She charged $80 for gel polish change on hands and feet. Places like this need to close down. The cure light burned. It was a horrible experience. She said she had work at tother salons. I also has French tip. When she finished my cuticles was o. Fire. Burning. I ask for the manager after I paid. What a cute hole in the wall place that's relaxing and calming overall. The moment you walk in there's peaceful music and it's never been so packed in here which I prefer. They also do a fantastic job with a gel manicure and I got the Luxe Pedicure today it's pricey compared to your average nail salon. A gel pedicure costs $50 which is higher than other salons in the area but I have never had to wait long and it's a nice place for mama to get away and recharge. I didn't get the gel pedicure because of the cost but my toes look great and I feel great! I'd come back. Another key thing that makes this place great is everyone who works here is very kind and gentle. I used to go to Bellagio Nail in Torrance and the main manager there he's so cold and you can tell when nail techs talk about you. Here it's simply peaceful while they work no one is talking and you just hear music playing. read more
