This is my favorite nail salon in Torrance! It's gorgeous inside, with a luxurious feel. The ladies are nice and welcoming and do a good job on your nails and toes. Our first time there, we had made an appointment for 3 of us. They were super busy so we were patient. They had started my sister and my daughter first which was fine, then after 40 minutes it was my turn. The staff were all very friendly ( they just need to manage the appointments and walk ins better) Very spacious and pretty inside. Because of how busy they were my sister wasn't even able to get her gel done, my daughter's polish wasn't done great either. (The paint was all over the skin. I have been a customer since Del Amo nails first opened and have always been pleased with the service until this morning. I arrived for a pedicure and told the nail technician that I wanted the Scrubby Dubby Pedicure. She went ahead with my pedicure as they normally do until it came time for my leg massage. I noticed that she was using a different cream so I asked her if I could see the packet. When I turned it over it said the lotion was made with CBD. I asked the nail tech why she had used that CBD lotion instead of the regular lotion and she said that one is good. This is not okay, I did not tell her that I wanted a CBD Natural Relaxing Pedi therefore she should have never applied that type of cream without my consent. Upon leaving I asked the girl at the register if I could please speak with the manager, she told me the manager was not there but she would let her know what happened. Later in the afternoon I phoned to speak with the manager and was told again that she wasn't there and would give her the message. I would appreciate if the management could reply to this message so that this type of error doesn't happen again in the future. read more

This place is nice inside, it's relaxing but their customer service sucks and all they care about is money. They don't truly care about their clients. They are not informative at all. I went there three times. I'm not trying to be disrespectful or discriminate or racist. I'm far from that but They do not understand you when you explain what it is that you want and they do what they feel like it. I was hoping to get information and assistance with my nails the first time I went there I asked them to put a nail on my big two because k have a condition it's not fungus but it's a sort of discoloration in the nail that needed alittle attention. I was trying to explain that to the lady who did my nail and she was not letting me speak and just put a gel tip on my nail. My nails did come out nice and they did last me a month but the second time I went I noticed my nail started to get fungus it was turning back and I was trying to ask them what was going on and they wouldn't let me speak or explain what was going on they just did as they pleasers and just told me to buy something. My nails that time only lasted me a few days they turned very ugly and weak mind you she was supposed to put something on my nail to make them strong and she charged me for it . I'm not even kidding like maybe five days at this point I was already getting upset. I was going to write a bad review then but I didn't I waited to see them and see if maybe this time if I put a tip they will last me and my nails would grow and if I kept putting the liquid they told me to put on my nails would work and no! By the 6 day my nail came of and the next day i only had 5 nails left. The color on my toe nails were chipping. my nails were becoming very weak!!! So I went to them and asked them if they can please take off all the nails and clean my nails at this point just want my nails to breathe and grow naturally again because I wish I had a before and after. My nails in my hands were long and very pretty and now they a short and brittle. So I had gel tip my nails and they didn't even take the glue completely off my nails just look at the photos I'm attached and I just went yesterday. On top of charging my $200 7 days ago they charge me $80 and I tell them my concerns and how I don't think I should pay anything and they tell me you have seven days to come and fix your nails you came on May 12 and today is May 19. It was literally my 7th day and they still charged me so i told them I will pay but I'm not coming back here ever again then they just try to give me $20 gift card to try to rail me back in and I just left. I do not plan to go back. On top of everything they definitely talk in their language about you and it's so obvious. Probably one of the worst salons I've been to honestly. read more

I've been here before, I went in today when opened and one of the male employees did my nails. I had a gel x fill but my index finger had broken a nail so I needed a new one on just that one nail. Everything was great until about halfway I noticed a smell and I saw that he had taken his shoes off and sort of kicked them towards me so I had to uncomfortably sit awkwardly because his feet and shoes took up majority of the floor space. Then he proceeded to do the nails like normal but never prepped it added any gel-x polish to the new nail and was about to put just polish. When I asked if he could add it so it's not flat, to make it like the others, he literally said "no" but I thought he didn't understand me so I asked again. Said no and was saying that he couldn't for some reason that I didn't understand. Finished my nails, I did not like the new one at all. Everything was perfect, so I went back, explained what happened and asked for a new person to fix the one nail. One of the ladies stood over him and he proceeded to fix the nail himself, not as requested. Rushed it a bit which is fine, but added so much gel glue underneath and didn't press the nail down so now it goes upwards. The lady the told me that there are 2 different types of tips and he used the "wrong one" after I told him which ones I wanted him to use. Loved this place in the beginning. I've been to this nail salon 3 times now. Unfortunately not going to go back. I recently got a gel manicure with a hard gel. Decided to get chrome on top of the color I chose. I was very patient with the guy doing my pedicure because he didn't know how to add the chrome and he had to have someone else come and help him to do it. Now my gel manicure with chrome was not what I asked for and to top it off it started peeling that very same day. Went in the next day to ask them if they could fix it and the same nail tech completely redid them for me no charge, which I appreciated but again next day it started to peel again. Maybe this just isn't the place to get chrome but it's a bit overpriced and the same 8-10 cover pop songs really give me a headache sucks that this happened because I really had a great experience when I first came. read more

I looked through the services and I picked a service I thought I could really give myself the "WORKS" that I deserve you know. I picked Indulgent Pedicure plus I added gel, I sit down, I get sparkling water and Champagne. Im like Yes! YESSSS I love this... from then on down hill it went.... I notice.. little bugs on me, I tell the lady hey . It's mosquitos flying around can you guys close the door. I was seated right in front of the door ( it was night) the gentlemen came over said no. Im like its mosquitos flying on me! Im like can I move? He's no. Im like why? He's like the lady doing your pedicure says your feet are already in the bowl. Im looking confused like what are talking about. Then I'm sitting she then points to the basic pedicure package. I said no I got this the Indulgent. She said NO, I do this more simple. Im like what? She then says it's also more cheaper trust me get this one. In my head. Im like why is she bringing up price to me? Im like you know what. Do it because I want to leave at this point. I came in wanting this big package. You have the mosquitos eating me up and you talking about price to me, like I dont have money. So she starts working. I tried this Salon out for the first time probably 4-5 weeks ago. They did a really good job. I just got a gel mani pedi , French tip. They lasted so long, I ended up peeling them off cuz I just got bored but you can see my nails without the gel, honestly this is the strongest they have felt with gel and peeled off they are so strong! Such a cute nail salon, I love the aesthetic and they had large comfy chairs for pedicures. I brought my daughter here for her birthday nails and she loved them. I did not get a service done unfortunately. I came in at 4:50 pm and requested a gel mani and pedicure and the person at the front told me they would be ready within 15 mins. I sat down in the waiting area and was offered a water. I watched a person come in after me and requested a manicure, she was also told 15 min wait but was seated at the manicure station to wait. About 10 mins later, another woman came in and asked for a mani and pedi and was immediately seated at the pedicure station. It is currently 5:30, 30 mins later and I am still seated in the waiting area without being seated at either station ‍ So I left ‍ I don't like to play the race card but I couldn't help but notice the different way I was treated versus these two other people. If you're not Asian or White passing, try to make an appointment, otherwise you'll be stuck in the waiting area 30+ mins. I'll spend my well earned nurse money, elsewhere read more
