It was a half hour to closing and I was leaving for Hawaii in the morning but Jess said she would still take me. The salon was immaculate, the selection of nail color and design is what every girl dreams of soooo incredible. I have had 2 great experiences here. I have made appointments both times. It's very clean and the service is great. They have little snacks and drinks. My regular nail polish pedicures have lasted 7 weeks without chipping. The prices are reasonable for the area. The cheapest pedicure is $40 and the next step up is $60. I got a gel manicure here last week and had a horrible experience. I've gotten enough manicures in my life to know the proper procedure and this was not it. When she was taking off my gel, she only used a file and didn't get off all the residue. She brought me a bowl of freezing cold water to soak my nails in, she did not put any cuticle oil on my fingers to the point that I heard my cuticles snapping off. I should've said something but I don't like complaining. It wasn't till a woman sat next to me to get a regular manicure that I noticed how different our experiences were. She had steamy warm water to soak her nails in & cuticle oil was used on it. Nonetheless, I didn't say anything I paid, tipped and left. It wasn't until the next day that my cuticles were inflamed & in pain. She had not prepped my cuticles well and had cut them raw. I don't like to complain, but this was a horrible experience so I called the next day. The woman on the phone was apologetic but made me feel awkward. She just said she didn't know what to say. Proper customer service would've been to offer some kind of refund either full or half, or offer something. But I wasn't going to ask for that so I said thank you and hung up. I'm writing this review now because a week later and some of my nails have broken and the gel is chipping already. I should've spoken up! read more
