At first I was a little skeptical because there were so few reviews but when I browsed the reviews all of them were stellar, the photos definitely helped my decision, I could tell that she was detailed and took care with her designs The place is a little hard to find it's located in a little strip mall inside a hair salon, but once you find it it's super cozy. Gemma is super nice and friendly and easy to talk to, she made the time go by fast and I didn't feel bored or awkward. I showed her a picture of the nail design I Wanted and she helped me pick out the color and I liked how she asked how I wanted it but still gave her opinion when I asked her. I got an excellent manicure here. The manicure lasted several weeks since the lady added a top coat at the end. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was that she trimmed my cuticles without having me put my hands in a bowl of water. So I think that was too rough on my cuticles. Ever since I was in elementary school, I've gone to various nail salons with my mom. The reason I stuck with Pinknail ever since my first visit, was not only because of their lovely service but also their wide variety of contemporary design choices. Every visit I make, I request for a new design, and they've always exceeded my expectations. Don't get me wrong, I am a really picky person, and one of the workers, Heidi, jokingly said that I was one of the pickiest, but what can I say? Their amazing talents just makes my expectations go up. i'm so amazed by how well my nails are still doing and looking 3 weeks post my manicure !!! i was struggling to find a place that after doing my nails, wouldn't start chipping and lifting from the tip a week later. She is always accommodating to my hectic and often times changjng schedule. As a nurse and business owner myself I appreciate her flexibility. Love how WE create special colors for me. Its really her lol . I'm fair skinned and her color choices always compliment my skin. I get so many compliments on my natural looking and perfectly manicured gel nails. Pinknail is located inside a hair salon named: wonder hair salon, so do not expect to see a huge sign that reads:Pinknail. They do an awesome job, great customer service and most importantly they never rush their work maybe this is why the outcome is always great! I recommend to call ahead of time instead of being a walk-in because these women have a very busy agenda. Nail salon appointments aren't usually at an exact time. I had trouble finding the salon due to lack of signage. I arrived 9 minutes late. The woman inside asked in a disdainful manner if she could help me. She knew exactly who I was. The salon was empty, yet she enjoyed telling me I was too late. She admonished me like a child for being late and smiled nastily as she sent me packing. Her attitude was strange. Almost as though she was enjoying canceling my appointment. I left feeling pranked.
