Less than 2 weeks and nail polish chipped, most broke off. Very disappointed since it was gelx at $85
Still on the hunt for a nail salon. Okay polish selection, and observing covid safety. This place was promising based on reviews but lacked in attention to detail. Gel manicure has polish all over my side cuticle and skin. Pedicure resulted in a bloody big toe that stung like crazy. Rather than cleaning with clean water, she rinsed it with the dirty foot bath water too. Going to have to pass on this place. Especially with prices being the same as the fancier salons in the area. Going home now to disinfect my toe so it doesn't get infected and swell. :S
Had a Manicure and Pedicure by Sue yesterday. The foot and lower leg massage after a hot soaking, feels so relaxing. Then she applies various oils to the feet and massages them with her hands. She finishes up with a hot foot wrap. That is a feel good experience. When Sue finished the manicure, she applies oils, and massages the lower arms and hands. When you get both pedicure, and manicure, afterward you feel like you just had a Guilty Pleasure. I've been coming here with my wife for over 4 years. Normally just a manicure for me. After a lot of encouragement by the owner Tony, I finally let Sue do a pedicure. I have been hooked since that time. Now, I know why so many ladies come here, so often. Yesterday, I had one of those intense, guilty pleasure moments. Sue went beyond her massage timer. I highly recommend this salon, and ask for Sue or Tony's wife. My nails grow faster, so you may fine me here, a few times each month, without my wife.
I should say upfront that I'm prone to getting infections, so it's not completely their fault. But if their instruments were cleaned properly, then maybe this wouldn't have happened. So, I like scratching off the polish because it's satisfying. After I scratched it off my pinky, I noticed some kind of yellow color along the edge of my nail, traveling underneath. I thought it was the skin pulling away from the nail because the salon person was too rough when cleaning under my nails (there were a lot of sores on my toes at the corners and cuticles where their trimmer caught skin, so I kind of expected that for my pinky too), but the yellow seemed to spread as the weeks passed, and it's underneath the nail and a little painful to press on. I googled it and apparently it's the beginning of a mild nail fungus. And yes, my toes were infected for a while from the sores from the clippers, but I know how to treat infections. Nail fungus is a new beast, so if it doesn't go away soon or if it gets worse, I'll call a specialist to look at it. I'd give Cutee Nails 2 stars because the polish job was nice, but the aftercare for all the little infections and now this new fungal thing are a pain in the ass and I wish I hadn't gone, so 1 star it is. If you're not prone to infections, you should be fine going here, hopefully. But in my experience, this place isn't safe for me.
This was my first time at this salon. I used a gift certificate I had received for my birthday for a regular manicure/pedicure. I have all natural nails, and the ladies were very careful and gentle while shaping them up. I showed them a nail art design I wanted to replicate, and I think it came out pretty well, given it was their first attempt. A bit pricey for regular polish, but I'm happy with the way they turned out.
I used to go to another local salon here in T orrance but they started getting sloppy and more expensive and rude. I tried this place a few times and I am super happy. It's quiet, and the pedicure was really good!!

All 3 of them are so professional and kind, I never want to go to another salon! I originally found this place on Yelp and read the reviews. I'm glad I took a chance and found my new nail place after my last one did me so dirty! If you're looking for a new nail place, give them a visit!
Ruby is awesome. She free hands designs for my pedicure so it's not the same every time. Pedi lasts about a month. The salon is clean and the staff are nice.
First time here and they got my business for a long time! My first impression here is clean, quaint, good vibes. Those are definitely good qualities for a nail salon in my book. The staff is ultra friendly and take their time to get your nails looking fabulous. The prices are reasonable as well. I highly recommend it for all your nail needs.

My friend went here recently and she had a terrible experience. She was too embarrassed to say anything so here I am trying to help yall out from the same shame she had. She asked for dip and she got some jelly bean looking nails as a result. They added gel to the dip and she got some fat layers instead. See attached. Do not go here for dip.
Zero stars if possible. They did not want to fully clean my nails nor my boyfriend's nails. Too rushed of a job and only two people were working. This place is complete trash and is very filthy. Along with only have two workers, both were taking phone calls in between or on their phone. For a regular manicure and pedicure, cost $28 with no real cleaning done. For a regular full set and pedicure cost $51. Not to mention that there is a $5 charge for coffin. Waste of money...not to add this ambience of this place is horrible.

Got the cutest fall glittery nails! I keep my nails short & my finger nails are already small so I know the nail techs probably have a harder time but they always do a good job. They also know how much I love glitter & im almost always going to get glitter over whatever color I get lol read more

I really wanted to like Cutee Nails, but unfortunately, I was very disappointed. I came here on a random weekday afternoon to get my old gel nail removed and get another gel manicure. Unlike other places that charges to get your old gel removed, Cutee Nails charges $28 for gel manicure. I also like design on my nails and they charge $5 extra for any design (for 2 nails only). I called the place and the guy owner picked up the call and told me that there was no wait to come by. When I walked in, everyone was super friendly. As someone mentioned in a previous review, this is a no frills salon. If you want a pampering kind of salon, this place is definitely not it. But, this did not matter to me, since I was just going for a quick manicure. I am a creature of habit and I like black nails, so I told the lady that was doing my nails that I wanted black nail with a design. I was not sure what design I wanted, so she showed me a few samples. None of them were what I wanted (I really like simple design on my nails). So, I showed her a picture of stripe design that I saw online. She worked very quickly on my nails. However, the reason why I am giving this place 2 stars is that my design on my nails were so messy. I didn't think that the design was particularly hard (It's not like I wanted something complicated) and the lines on the stripes were so messy. I didn't want to complain, so I didn't say anything. But, had I known that the design was going to be so messy, I would have just gone for regular gel manicure with no design. In addition, the rest of the polish on my nails did not apply very well, so there is a lot of spaces (gaps?) in my nails. This salon had very nice owners, but I would not come back here based upon the messy application for my manicure. I would give this place 1 star, but I am upping it another star for friendly owner and relatively decent price. read more

I want to like this place, I truly do but I am never, never, ever coming back here again. There is a reason why the raving reviews are about Tony. I came in on a Monday afternoon and there were two clients being serviced. I sat and read one of the tabloids while waiting. I just needed my gel mani removed and an eyebrow wax. It's $5 to remove the polish and an extra $2 to trim the nails and file it, which I thought was ridiculous and unnecessary. She did do a thorough soaking to remove the polish though. But I noticed she blew her nose on a tissue and then proceed to soak my nails without washing her hands. She was precise in shaping my brows but she fucking burned my right eyelid and made my brows thinner than I wanted. She also used neosporin and then aloe vera gel on my brows, but she used her fingers - these same fingers that were handling my nails and her nose. It's just not very sanitary. The file she used was dirty and looked worn as well as the buffer. I'll pass on the lack of sanitation, unnecessary extra fees and the burned skin. I'm also bummed that no one was friendly and hospitable to me even though other customers were greeted as family ( but obviously weren't). Hours later, skin still burning. Very evident red patch that feels both wet and tight. Makeup can't cover this. FML. F this place too. read more

Love this place I've been coming here for two years now, every time left a satisfied customer. The first time I came in I had a long day at work and needed something to lift my spirit. Went for my regular combo: French pedicure and normal manicure and reviewed yelp for the best spot nearby. I called and spoke to Tony and made an appointment for a few hours later. I drove up to the little strip mall parked in front and was genuinely greeted by the owner Tony. Li took care of my pedicure while Tony did my hands which were in a horrible state. What I expected was to get a fair priced good experience and I got way more. Tony made me laugh, he was interested in my day and cracked jokes with his colleague who has missed a career in stand up comedy! I felt refreshed, in a better mood and have pretty feet and hands again. Will definitely be back!!! Price was 33 bucks including the up charge for French. Since then I've been helped by Tony, Tina, Sue and Ann. All are amazing!! read more
Another lucky find on Yelp!! I was in town visiting some friends and decided to get my nails done spur of the moment. Though Cutee only had 16 reviews, most of them were glowing so I decided to give it a try. It's located in the same plaza as 7-11. It's a really small salon with 4 tables and 4 spa chairs. One thing I have to say about this salon is that the owners really pay attention to detail. I'm sure at higher priced salon, you would expect this attention to detail as a norm, but at reasonably priced salons like this, it really is appreciated. Pros: -Service: You won't get that Vietnamese chatter between the workers like at most typical salons. Both workers who worked on me (Tony and Tina-the hubby/wife owners) spoke to me in English. Tony is quite the chatter box and I thoroughly enjoyed my lil chats with him. He greeted the other 2 customers who walked in the door by name and seemed to have quite a good relationship with both of them. I guess you would call this the nail salon version of Cheers! LOL! -Cleanliness: Salon is well maintained. Very clean and updated equipment. Nail polish was neatly sorted by color (in different ranges of shades). All equipment was taken out of sterile packages. - ATTENTION TO DETAIL: I normally get the basic spa pedi and gel mani package. In all the places that I've been to, it never included all the extras I received at Cutee: --warm towel wrap on my feet --salt scrub on my legs --heated lotion used in my hand massage! Cons: - None! Other than the fact it's located in Torrance, which is an hour away from me :( Gel Mani, regular pedi, with callous removal, and cute snowflake decorations for my toes (OMG! I coudln't believe it when she offered to do snowflakes! Most places just do flowers, which is so boring..) came out to $52. What a deal! This is the price I normally pay at my cheap Irvine salon but the service was soooo much better here... I will definitely come back here whenever Im back in Torrance. read more
This place is not fancy, but the people working here are very friendly and professional. I had Sue who did my gel mani for $25 (including removal). She was very meticulous and made sure I was happy with the shape and color. Everyone seemed very happy working here and it was quite relaxing. The hot lotion hand massage at the end was a nice touch. All the tools are sanitized properly. You are able to tip on your credit card but you have to tell them the amount before they swipe your card. I will be back! read more

I was in desperate need of a manicure. This place has great reviews and awesome prices, so I decided to check it out. I made my apt for 615 (rushed here after work), but when I arrived they weren't ready for me for over 15 minutes. It was fine though, they were very nice about it and kept saying they would be right with me. They have a good amount of polishes to choose from. They did a good job of cleaning my nails up. One lady did the first half and another took over just for the polish part. I was here last client for the day, so I felt like she was a little rushed to get out, but still looked alright. $10 manicure is awesome and my polish still looks good (5 days later), so I'll probably be coming here next time I want one done read more

The only place I will ever trust with my nails. I've been coming here since the beginning of 2015 and I'm never going anywhere else. QUALITY - - Tony is an expert with nails. He does every meticulous step of acrylics with speedy precision and never cuts corners like some other nearby salons. He is fast, yet accurate and cared about quality. One time, I messed up my nails when I went to dry them. I apologized profusely, but he didn't mind fixing me right up. FRIENDLY-- always a good place to relax and get pampered. Great service and always funny. Came in with a friend today for a spontaneous walk in and they squeezed us in even through they were quite busy. CLEAN-- tools arrive at the table pre-packaged to ensure cleanliness. PRICE-- here's what gets me. It's top notch but the fairest price around in the south Bay. $25 for gel mani. I've been here for weddings, spontaneous manis, me-days, and they've always delivered 10/10. I got a simple gel mani today and my friend got a gel full acrylic. See you guys in a few weeks! read more
I went to Cutee Nails recently to get my eyebrows waxed. The lady that does it is professional and takes her time to make sure your eyebrows are nice and even. She also takes precaution not to put you in a lot of pain so that was nice too. I was really happy with the turn out of my eyebrows and it was not very expensive either. The set up of the shop is not that fancy, but it is okay. I thought my eyebrows came out good and I would recommend you to come here to get your eyebrows done. read more

Tony is a Nail God! I cannot count how many nail salons I have been too and left unhappy and settling for half ass work not worth the $40 they charge. But here at Cutee Nails I would have paid double just for the quality alone! I have never felt a nail salon so satisfied! Tony took his time with me, made conversation, when double and triple checked his work before moving on. I will definitely be back! All you yelpers were absolutely correct with this one!!! read more

wow! i'm so happy i heard about this place! it's very friendly & very clean! Tina was the kind lady who did my first pedi in 3 months. when i called to make the appointment he said 1:15 so they were very prompt when i arrived he knew & was ready to have me pick my color. The massage chair was very relaxing & she did an amazing job on my toes! i def would highly recommend them! read more

Just dropped into Cutee for the first time. Being a working mommy, get my nails done is something I usually do during my lunch break. But I just moved jobs and there's nowhere legit near my office. So I stopped into Cutee today--a Saturday, just around the corner from my house--with my 2 yr old in tow. They did not bat an eyelash. I sat her on my lap while I got a quick but thorough and quality pedicure. My little one was mostly entertained by watching the lovely lady do my nails, but I brought snacks and my phone as back up. She got on the phone the last little bit. Price was great! $18 for a basic pedicure. This will be my new spot!! Thx for a great experience. read more

I made an appointment at 4pm during my lunch break. I let them know I might be late because my work may cause me to come in a bit later. I told them that I would be coming in during my lunch break and the lady on the phone said "okay". She asked for my name so I assumed she understood what I meant. I called at 4pm, saying I will be 5min late. Lady said I could still come in. I told her I was on my lunch break and came in by 4:05pm. When I went in.... 1.waited 40 minutes to start my nails. Lady who was supposed to serve me was taking her sweet time with everything, from even getting me a bowl of warm water to soak my hands in to even picking out the chosen color. 2.lady started putting on a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT color than what I want full of clumpy OLD nail polish. She was going to do the rest of my nails but I told her that it wasn't the color I wanted. She then admitted that she saw it was a different color.... This is offensive because she knew it was wrong but proceeded to put on the wrong color nevertheless. 3. When I saw bubbles pop up on my nails if I didn't point them out she didn't do anything about them. 4. Ended up with a super rushed appointment with NO massage at the end, and I still found remnants of nail polish on my skin... Along with bubbles.... And some uneven filing... Sigh* 5. Despite everything there wasn't an offer of any discount, just an apology of "oh I'm sorry I thought you had time"... 6. Lady who came in AFTER me left before I did. I also ended up late to work by 20 minutes. Sorry cutee nails but there was nothing cute about the service I received. read more

This nail salon has been a favorite of mine for awhile until I moved to lawndale and wanted to try new salons nearby. I always come back to this nail salon and it's obvious why. Customer service is always great and they do a great job with nails! Get your nails done here and you won't regret it!! read more
