Yelp connected me with Torrance T Nails for a Sunday visit. Service was fast and the nail Tech didn't try to add additional services. Thankful for that bc nothing turns me off more when I get my nails done and the tech just nickel and dime you for anything they can to add to my gel manicure. The guy was super fast and used an airbrush machine to do mauve french tip on my pink nail colors. The location is in a small strip mall with lots of nail stations and spa chairs. Nothing fancy inside but it is clean. read more

They were very busy when I came and could not accommodate me, but they offered to schedule me in for an appointment. My nail service was okay. The two ladies who did my nails were sweet but it wasn't like the inspo picture I showed them. It didn't bother me too much but don't come here if you're really picky about that sort of thing. Unfortunately, the lady who applied my gel x nails did them incorrectly. The hot gel got onto my skin & I regret not saying anything. Afterwards, I noticed the cured gel overflowed between my real nails and the fake ones. This was a first for me. I appreciate the techs for attempting the design I wanted but overall I hope they are better trained in applying nails especially since it was a bit painful & I know someone else probably would've been more mad over it. I did return the next day to shave the excess gel down but it barely made a difference. At least it was free. Will not be returning but I hope this helps for future customers! read more

I came with my daughter and got GelX for the first time on Saturday and yesterday (day 4) her nail had fallen and my nails looked like I had gotten them done weeks prior and one of the nails looks like the glue is coming off. Julie fixed my daughter's nail and said that my nails was just because my nails had grown out and she wouldn't even look at them more than once. Julie fixed my daughter's nail and at the last step she said "when the light turns off you can go" and got up and left. She was very rude and for the price I payed it is not worth us coming back! Reply to Kevin: Just as rude as your staff. And clearly you know exactly who we were by your response. Those are my hands if you did not read or are unable to understand the review. I've been going to Jimmy for nails, Julie for waxing and all of the other wonderful staff there for years to get pedicures. When I moved to the area, I searched high and low, and this salon was the only one I could find that did gel fills and still had an airbrush machine, which I love! The salon is right around the corner from my house, so very convenient! Jimmy always does a great job and, like most women that have been getting their nails done for years, I'm super specific about how my nails look. We always have good conversation and I feel like I'm well taken care of there. I have sent many of my girlfriends to this nail salon and have taken both of my kids there, as well. read more

This place has terrible time management. You make an appointment and still end up waiting 30-45 minutes. They're never on time, and the owner, Jimmy, couldn't care less. No customer service, no apology, no respect for anyone's time. What should be a relaxing experience ends up stressful and irritating. I arrived 10 minutes early for my appointment and still waited 20 minutes--this isn't the first time, but it will be the last. In the middle of my pedicure, Jimmy started yelling, forced the employee (Anna) to stop, and told me to leave because I had written a negative review. He even hit his employee while shouting at her! Completely unprofessional and abusive. Jimmy treats women poorly, shows no respect, and creates a hostile environment. I know many friends who have already stopped going here for the same reasons. Don't waste your time--there are far better salons just up the street. read more

My first time here today and I had an amazing experience. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and sat at a station. I was a "walk in", didn't have an appointment and they were able to take me in. I didn't have to wait too long for someone to come and begin on my nails. Am was my nail tech and she did such an amazing job. Her service great! i would not recommend this salon. We had an appointment but were left sitting for almost 30 minutes with no service. Several people asked what color we wanted, then walked away without starting. When someone finally did begin, the nail tech was rough, jerking hands and pulling fingers with a bad attitude. It felt like they didn't want to be bothered at all. On top of that, when it came time to pay, they discouraged using a credit card and pushed for Zelle, cash, or Venmo. One tech even walked away when we tried to pay by card. This was completely unprofessional, and both my friend and I left very disappointed. Definitely not a place I would return to. read more

Was recommended this place & happy we went with it! I got a gel pedicure + my mom got a gel pedicure & hard gel manicure and it came out great! I loved the workers they were very kind & asked exactly how we wanted our nails. Luckily we came on a Thursday @ 1:30 and they were able to accommodate us immediately with other customers there too. They have a good selection of colors and options. The massage chairs are amazing and I was in and out in an hour! The women were so great, very courteous. I had just ran a half marathon and my toes were not pretty at all. Anne got me back to looking fresh! Very appreciative of their time and being so accommodating with my crazy schedule. While loved this place, I was a bit concerned that the cuticle tools and other things were not sanitized. I got a French manicure and it chipped off completely a few days later. I think that the best thing would be to do their gel manicure and a regular pedicure. You can't beat the price and everybody was nice. I may go back for a Gel manicure and regular pedicure and I may ask them to use products that I use or go first thing in the morning after their tools are sanitized. read more
