I think I'm about to leave my regular nail tech. I ended up because I had some errands to run on this side of town and desperately needed my nails done today. I looked up Yelp reviews and found this place. I get basic gel manicure. She did an exceptional job. I think this is the best manicure I've had in a long time. I'll be coming back. read more

Last time I came in for a pedicure , my nail polish was off the next morning. I just thought maybe it was me. I came in two days ago and as I was getting a pedicure, this lady came in. She told the staff that her nail polish came off and they said that never happens to anyone else. Despite their nail polish came off , she had to pay in order to get them done again. Many salons i've gone to in the past usually let you come in the next day or so to get it fixed for no charge. I didn't think much of it, but now my polish is coming off. I haven't worn anything but sandals. Maybe this is why they pressure people into getting a gel pedicure instead of a regular pedicure. It's very expensive and not worth it . Very disappointing, especially because the staff is rude and pushy. read more

I've been to this location twice now. The first visit I asked for French tips mani & pedi. The pedi I loved! I believe Danny? Did it. It was a male. He made my toes look really nice. For my hands, I forgot her name she wears glasses that are half white but she made them look really janky. It was not pretty at all. I was annoyed the rest of the day with them. The second time I went I decided only a pedicure & to do white nails. I didn't want gel because regular polish already lasts FOREVER. I don't know if their polish is expired or not good anymore but it did NOT dry properly. It ended up all gooey and clumpy. I never had this experience before for regular nail polish. It was pretty bad. I had to redo it myself at home. The nail techs all push so hard to make you spend more money. It's extremely uncomfortable. I understand a hustle but stop haggling me to spend another $10 for some scented water and lotion-- I'm good. They reuse the same nail files on everyone which is so disgusting. I thought we've become more aware of infections to get disposable mini files or something. Yuuuuuuuck! It's an average nail salon, nothing new nothing super old. They're trying to maintain it. It's ur good ole average nail salon. Prices are somewhat fair but the quality is def questionable. I don't plan on coming back. read more

I have been coming here for years but lately I got disappointed with the last pedicure I had. I requested for Royal Spa supposed to be $55 as said from the brochure but I was charged $67 dollars plus tip for a pedicure only! I was more disappointed from the royal spa pedicure supposed to have 12 minutes massage but she did not even massage my feet or lower legs, she was just wiping off some lotion and cleaning my legs for 12 minutes! And supposed to have callus removal included but she did not remove the callus! She should remove the ingrown but she did not remove it after few days i have to go to another nails spa because my toes got infected her pedicure! She is more interested with my body accessories and handbag, than doing the pedicure. She pushed me to get jell nails after she asked for more than 8 times! So I got jell nails. Few days after I got infection from my toes! The guy that did my pedicure few months ago was better. He does not talk but atleast he really pay attention to my toes and cleaned them very well and removed my ingrown and dis my jell nails very well. He did not over charge me! So disappointed and place is false advertising, they judge you what clothes you wear and handbag i have! They will charge you more! Will never come back! So frustrating! So poor service! read more

I have gone here a few times. Kathy does good nails. The 3rd time I got someone else as I didnt request Kathy. I asked for a flower design. Something simple and she put these ugly kindergarten looking flowers on my nails. I wish she would of just said she didnt know how to do it. My nails looked terrible and she knew it. I wish I had a picture to share. It was so ugly. I just felt they dont car about their customer. read more

This was my second time at Elite Nails and both times I've had such a great experience. This time I got a pedicure for the first time ever and it was a very relaxing session. I got the deluxe pedicure and the technician was very mindful about the water temperature and took extra care to soothe the really vicious mosquito bites on my legs. She even painted my toes to match the floral French tips on my nails! Someone else worked on my nails during the pedicure so it was a very efficient appointment. I showed her a picture of the design I had in mind and it turned out just like it. I got dip powder and loved how it turned out! The business is very clean and welcoming. I will definitely be coming back. read more

Tech was super nice but a bit pushy. But now I know why she kept insisting I get gel. I got a "classic" mani pedi. As she started pulling my cuticles on my toes, I already had an inkling that it wasn't going to be any good. She did the maneuver to make me think it was getting done. Hey, I guess I should be happy I at least didn't get a cut. Even with my toes looking okay, I paid and tipped 20% before the fingernails were even done. Jokes on me! I could have done the manicure myself and would have been happy with the results. My cuticles weren't removed, polish is thick and edges weren't colored even after multiple attempts. I gave it 2 starts coz again the tech was nice and the place is clean. read more

I got a gel manicure and regular pedicure. My manicure was okay, but my pedicure was awful. The paint was all uneven. I came to discover that two holes were made in my toe nails that I did not arrive to the salon with. After I asked the nail tech to fix it, she became defensive and told me it was my problem. Needless to say, when I got home I had to fix it myself. This will be my first and last time at this salon. read more

All the staff her are friendly and accommodating. I have been coming here for almost 5 years now. You know when you find a nail tech you like you just can't go anywhere else. My daughters also have a great experience when I bring them. Tammy the owner, just completed my Easter set. Aren't they cute? We get mani, pedicure, waxing, full sets, fills, Gel X or acrylic, it doesn't matter. All services are done with a smile. It's a very friendly and fun environment here. Quick and friendly service, fairly priced, but quality was just not there. I asked for a gel french manicure. Barely did any cuticle trimming, polish was uneven and not to the edges of the nail. Asked the technician to fix it but there were people waiting so she rushed through, just filed the nails more to try to cover up how uneven they were on the edges, which just made it worse. Very pushy on upselling as well, would not recommend. read more

I've been coming here for a while. All of the ladies are very nice. BUT. They have 1 guy that works there who has the rudest and most negative attitude. My first visit was with the Guy worker. My toes didn't even last a week and to be honest, HE is the one I got a fungus from. I didn't want to say anything because all of the Ladies are very nice, but you can't have a worker that not only doesn't care about the health of people's toe nails, but to have a bad attitude towards certain people also? As nice as the ladies are, I have to also admit the Polish does NOT last long at all, the Attitude Guy gave me a fungus, and unfortunately I'll have to find another Nail spa that cares about toe health and whose Polish lasts longer. P.S. There is only 1 ladies that does good work and when she does the Polish, it lasts. BUT again, with the Guy worker giving me a fungus and having an attitude, I'll have to go elsewhere. read more

I paid for the Deluxe pedicure and they didn't give me the 7 minute hot stone massage. They charged me 35$ for a basic pedicure. I wanted bare nails because I'm broke and I do my gel nails at home and the nail lady asked me 5 times if I wanted gel. Overall, I give this place 4 stars. They are usually very friendly and accommodating with walk-ins. Sanitation is up to par and they keep the shop clean. I like the check in system and they give a small discount when you pay cash. Most of the time my pedicures are nicely done. Cutting/shaping, cuticles, and paint jobs look good and last. I love the variety of regular nail polish colors (not gel) because they can be limited at other shops. I deducted one star only because a few of the nail techs have been hit and miss. They rushed, barely cut cuticles, and paint jobs were spotty. read more

I went on Monday afternoon, and was seated quickly. I had a nice technician do my pedicure. She understood my requests. They use clean, packaged tools, and spa liners that assure cleanliness. My only complaint, would be the massage. It was 7 minutes with the deluxe pedicure. It felt rushed and not relaxing. A really disappointing fast rubbing with 0 pressure. Mostly with stones. I wanted to say something. But didn't. Because she seemed to be great till this point. That's why 4 stars instead of 5. read more

I haven't gotten a manicure at a salon in over 6 months to save money, so I normally do them myself. Today I decided let's splurge and get them done. I was not impressed. I use builder gel at home ( it's a thicker gel polish, since my nails aren't as strong as they used to be). They had to removed/soak the polish but they kept asking if it was Gelx nails or dip powder? I explained no it was builder gel, they seemed confused (feel like they should know what builder gel is) The nail tech decided to used a nail tip to remove some of polish that had lifted. When doing so she took out a piece of my nail bed. She asked if it hurt. I told her when she was removing it yes but not at that moment. When looking at it you can see the chunk of it missing I thought maybe she's filed it down smooth it out, but no! She just left it as is and continued on. I was not happy with the polish application as you can see it's lumpy and not even, you can really see the dip in the nail she didn't smooth out either. I took some photos but it looks worst in person. I wish I took a photo of my nail before she polished them. Only good thing she did was cut off alll my cuticle and dead skin. And the color I picked was great still summer feels but transition to fall. I won't be back. read more

I went in for a dip powder manicure over my regular nail no added tips. I received pushback when asking if my cuticles would be cut. Literally almost every finger got nicked. I paid $56 that included a $10 tip which wasn't earned but given out of kindness. My nails started cracking and chipping with in 2 days. I couldn't make it back in until the 5th day due to work. I explained the situation and was met with push back and blame for the nails chipping after only 2 days. The guy knew he didn't use all the correct products to make them last as did the female I initially spoke to. I had to ask for a discount multiple times in which the female tried to say "I'll give you $10 off of $56" and I asked how much is a regular dip power manicure and she responded $45. I then explained I just paid $46 + $10 tip literally 5 days ago I should not be back paying for a new set that fast and felt I should be compensated. After they spoke to each other in their own language for a good period of time and she bringing him the correct products to get the job done correctly we began. Long story short, he so soaked off the original set... replaced it with a bulky bad shaped set... and I was only given $5 off the regular price $45 for a new set which was $40 with no tip. Also a majority of my fingers are peeling around the cuticles. Very poor customer service when the reason I had to return was due to incorrectly applying the dip powder causing them to chip in 2 days, but I was forced to pay basically full price for them to be fixed. read more

Very disappointed in my service today as I chose to give this place a second chance after it had already been a bad experience the previous time, I came to find they lie to you when they say it's a 7 minute massage for the deluxe pedicure which is false advertising. I also asked the lady to rescrub the callus and she did the bare minimum again which didn't even scrub anything off even though I asked her to please rescrub it. I am not a mean person so I chose not to keep complaining but my toe nails were longer than I would have liked them and honestly just look very unprofessional. My cuticles were not cleaned or taken care of and I truly feel so disappointed for coming here and wasting my money. She had the audacity to tell me my nails were not soft or even so that's why my nail had patches of nail polish because I chose not to get the gel and the regular nail polish was like that... I really am astonished by the amount of unprofessionalism I experienced. My nails were left so long and untidy I'm sooo upset with the level of service honestly. The vibe was so off. Do not recommend going here. I will likely get my feet taken care of elsewhere. read more

Honestly worst experience ever, I came in because I was recommended by a coworker, I had requested a specific nail tech but upon arrival I got a different tech which I didn't mind at first because honestly I thought everyone was good. my nail lady was nice even though her services were horrible. This Has to be the worst pedicure I've ever received and to know I spent $45 to be disappointed it is not OK. My toes are poorly shaped and my cuticles are horrible. Not to mention how bad of a paint job it is and I have nail polish all around my cuticles and it is very spotty. It sucks that you can't see the horrible job until you get outside and natural light but they really should either do a better job or get better nail techs. read more

I'm surprised this place has a good rating above 4 stars. I don't know why I gave this place a second chance.. for a simple eyebrow wax! Wish I had gotten the employee's name. CONS 1. Sat me in a mani/pedi chair without reclining or clear lighting. 2. Kept offering different services throughout the process.. down to a shoulder massage! Which I all politely declined to and was super annoyed by. 3. Did a couple of strips on each side which didn't feel like much. After she tells me to look in the smudgy mirror.. I asked if she could do a few more because I still saw the hair. 4. This lady started excusing everything but herself by saying it wasn't her fault that MY eyebrows were shaped like that! ... WHAT?? - I didn't go in there for a shape .. just a clean up and she couldn't even do that! 5. PLOT TWIST - the wax was never plugged in ...... so it was never hot. How do you not plug in a machine and fool your customers?? 6. Eventually she did them again.. this time plugged in.. as I was coming up to pay she told the guy to charge me. When he said it was going to be $12.. I was surprised and told him a wax is $10 what are the extra $2 dollars for. Then she said it was for the " MORE HAIR" ..... SERIOUSLY?? that's when I argued with her and said I wasn't going to pay more for her not doing the job properly the first time. read more

My reviews are primarily restaurants but, I thought I'd give the pedicurist, Huy some props. As far as the pedicure goes, he did alright with it for my french pedicure. Foot/calf massage is always nice and relaxing. Great personality and funny jokes! Manicurist Nina, not so much. I do not like it when techs try to sell me additional or extra things. So when I specifically ask for a classic french manicure with regular polish, that means "No, I do not wish to pay extra for gel." Not only did she ask about gel in the beginning, at the end of the service she makes a comment that "Gel is better. It lasts longer." Yes, I am aware of that but, again I do not want to pay extra for gel. Sorry, I just like to relax and not be bothered. The salon is clean and located in the Harbor Gateway area shopping center next to Dollar Tree. Will ask for Huy if I come back to Elite Nails and Spa. read more

I showed my fingers to the man who charges and he insisted they fix it (see pic). My nails don't look awful anymore. Knocked a star because it was uncomfortable but they did me right by fixing it so I guess it really just depends on who you get. The pedicure lady left my toes looking fine but her pedicure was half effort. I noticed her attitude towards me changed when I didn't want to get the luxurious aka the most expensive pedicure they have to offer. Not sure I'd come back but if you get a good person I think you'll be fine. read more

I came here for the first time today and LOVED it. Karen and Kelsey did my gel pedicure and dip manicure. They were thorough and very detail oriented. I like my nails simple, short and dainty and they made sure I got that. The manager was super accommodating and even made sure I had water. The pedicure massage was heavenly. It was okay staff was fun and cool to talk too but when I seen my nails they were crooked and they didn't do that good of a job with the French tip tbh And for the price I paid definitely wasn't worth it Update : my gel X nails came off week and a half of having them I don't do anything special work wise I just walk around and touch a tablet all do and I do basic dishes everyday and of course showering so it's not as if ima. So today, January 21, this lady has been doing my nails for about almost 2 years now since my first nail tech Frank is sick and has been sick for months and my previous nail tech as well, Liz moved to Florida. I needed someone that does designs and they said Lisa was the next best person so I decided to go with her. Today I came in for a polkadot French tip/refill and as she was doing my nails, her next appointment came in. She told the front desk to tell the lady that it will take her another 20 minutes because she still has to do the polkadot designs. This is at 12:10 PM. Mind you I came in at 11 to get started on my nails. Lisa then starts rushing on my nails messes up a FEW polkadots and uses the nail file and messed up another nail. She expected me to pay $100 of rushed work and walk away. She then started to call me names and say I'm very picky and that she doesn't want to do my nails anymore and that no one at the establishment wants to do my nails. I have been going there for over seven years. I've only had about two or three nail techs and they have all left the establishment. She is very rude and will do sloppy work when she is feeling rushed and will tell you that you are too picky. I save lives for a living and all you have to do is do my nails correctly and I'm picky? It's such an insult. Especially after giving these people hundreds /thousands of dollars over the years. I highly suggest you guys start reconsidering coming to this establishment because it has greatly changed over the years. The only person that I trust on the nail side is Natalie. She does amazing pedicures and she will always make sure that it is done to your liking. I'm actually grateful she banned me from her booking list because I don't have to deal with her nasty attitude anymore.
