I had the most horrible experience at this nail shop TODAY! My nail tech was so incapable of completing my pedicure- I actually left mid service. She didn't remove all of the old polish and couldn't explain why. She had the gel base coat all over the skin of my toes. She started painting and it was a total mess. I had her remove the polish and just STOP. I wasted 1 hour in this nail shop and still had to come home to paint my own toes. Never ever again. I do not recommend. read more

Affordable nail salon. Service is great. Candy is the sweetest and always friendly. June & Holly are also friendly too. Candy does my nails. The other 2 usually do my pedicure. Started coming here when my nail girl had to quit working bc she got cancer. It was difficult ti switch after 15 yrs however, being personable, Candy has been real nice. She has cute ideas for nail designs. She has been late from time to time but the best thing you can do is call and find out if she's on time. Also important to let her know you are pressed for time and have to leave on time. I know that's not always something we shouldn't have to do but it has helped me to time things out. The salon is not fancy. There are new spa chairs. Salon is quiet but you can hear the music from the boba place next door. This is a simple, affordable nail salon with a variety of aesthetics and not just nail services. Can get eyelashes, brows, waxing and a few others things done. Came here with a friend with appointments made, however I had to wait a while until someone came to get me started on the process of soaking. My friend came a couple minutes later and because of how understaffed this place is, she didn't get to soaking until 20-30min later. I think if you're strapped on time, this might not be a great place....but for the price, it can't be beat in this economy. Service is decent and the work is also what you would expect for the price. I made an appointment for 11 AM and I think I got seen around 1130 on a Saturday morning. I was a little upset but I told them I was in a rush because I had a full day of stuff planned. June was very accommodating, reassured me she'll get me out as fast as she can. She's sooo sweet and i had an idea for what I wanted in my nails but didn't choose the colors prior so we literally came up with these fall inspired nails together. She mixed two shades of red/ pink to get this deep maroon and we picked the neutral light brown at last minute. She also added the gold at the very end asking "oh how about this." One week later I 'm still obsessed w my nails and have gotten so many compliments. This place is a hidden gem. Definitely make an appointment- it gets busy here. The prices are lower than any other local businesses I've been to, and the quality is unmatched. Whenever I bring photos of something I found online, the ladies will replicate it to the best of their abilities. If certain colors or designs are not available, they will also make suggestions on what else they can do, and they will talk to you about it beforehand so you feel comfortable moving forward. Other reviews complain about long wait times, but I think the wait is testament of how good and popular this place is- number or regulars and returning customers can already tell you how much they like this place. And that also means these ladies will take time to make sure that your nails are done well, not rushed or half-done to meet certain timelines. Absolutely horrendous pedicure. The technician was finished in 10 minutes, light foot scrub, trim and polish. They should change the name to express pedicure. Most of the technicians are just going through the motion. I don't think they do spa pedicures unless specifically requested. The technician that does a full set seems to be good at what she does. Duong did my manicure and pedicure. I recommend the polish with the gel and if light, it's been three weeks and my manicure hasn't even chipped, it's as if I just walked out of the salon!!! I felt bad cause it was my first time getting my people to do my nails and feet but she did a great job. At first I came in speaking English only to see if they'll talk crazy crap about me or the clients in vietnamese, but they didn't :) they just expressed sympathy for a client's dying mother which tells me they're good folks. The owner addressed me by name and the girls were very nice, eye lash extensions (individuals) are only $40 cheapest in town, will post an updated review once I try it. Free water while you wait, professional environment, would spend my money here to get my nails done! Update: got my eyebrows microbladed (pigment under skin semi permanent) lasts 2 years didn't hurt, the touch up was only $50 check out my video. Eyelash extensions done (individual lasted) lasted about a week and a half close to two weeks. Refill is $20 worth it for major events. Glue is irritating but expected. Update 03/2017 my micro bladed eyebrows are healed and look much better since it faded about 40% i wake up with great eyebrows that look natural and feminine! Update 03/21/2017 My friend Also had her eyebrows touched up yesterday and it looks great (her tatted eyebrows turned pink after 10 years) candy did a great job touching up her brows i can't believe its so cheap and high quality! Update 04/2017 my eyebrows look even better now and more natural. Haven't had to draw in or reshape my brows since getting my brows microbladed. I wake-up without any makeup and still look decent! If you decide to get your eyebrows microbladed get the front lighter and fully colored middle and tail. Really happy with how mine turned out ( i paid $350 2 years ago and did not get the same lasting color and shape) thanks candy! read more

If you go to Candy or June you will be fine. But if you go to Chi well you might as well go to someone else. I had asked her for one thing and went home with some thing else and she charged me 38 dollars for this. So, around 4pm a client walked in and she started to rush on my nails and she just said "oh my 3pm appointment is here" well your 3pm appointment is an hour later. She is such much of a rush she ended up giving me a horrible shape and design. I had asked for a dark green with a gold sparkle ombré affect she ended up giving me a green blue color with gold blotches. The shape was more square then what I requested for being coffin. I had been going to this nail salon for years, I actually had a standing appointment. After I had kids, I took a break from getting my nails done. So fast forward 15 years (yes 15) I made an appointment,to my surprise it was the same owner (Candy) and the person who did my nails, June, so long ago was also still there! After so long ago, they actually remembered me. It was like seeing old friends! Anyway,they did an amazing job on my pedicure and eye brows. The prices a great too. I think I finally found my manicure place . Nice staff, their work is very good and their prices affordable. I got my old gel manicure removed and I got a Christmas design with regular manicure, not gel for $19. There is plenty of parking outside the store and I was attended as soon as I walked in. But you can always call for an appointment in advance (310) 515-7693. It's an old fashioned nail store, they don't have those new pedicure chairs and things like that, though. But it's good enough for me. Hanna was super sweet and she followed all my instructions (I'm a little picky with my nails). This is a small local business close to where I live. I try to support my local businesses, especially the small ones but the last four times that I've been here. I have been nothing but disappointed. I don't think my expectations are more than they should be for my pedicure. I want my cuticles pushed back and trimmed. I want my nails shaped the way I like them,same as my manicure, but I never seem to get what I want lately today was the worst, the pictures will say it all, the nails were actually shaped in different directions and when I pointed it out, the nail tech told me it was my toes.LOL!!! as I pointed things out to the nail tech she seemed to get upset she said I'll fix your nails after they dry. That seemed a little ridiculous to me because why would you fix nails after they're painted and done drying shouldn't you fix them first and then paint them? Now I wasn't going to write a review, but when I got home and told my husband where I had been and he looked at my feet, he started to laugh. I asked him what's wrong he said your cuticles are all uneven I told them don't stop there look at the nails, so if the husband noticed without being told, I think that says a lot, they knew I was unhappy about it and still excepted my money. They didn't even offer me a discount. I tipped the lady because I felt bad I thought maybe this is all of her capability and she needs to eat too, but it would've been nice if they would've given me a discount or at least acknowledged me. Needless to say I left without my manicure. Sadly I will not be back there. I'm sure they won't miss me. Candy does a good job. She should instruct her techs to follow her lead. read more

I came in on a Friday afternoon, picked out a gel design - ombre French tip, and seriously came out laughing. I told the lady it wasn't very ombre but she then stated to say I should've gotten acrylic. Thank you for telling me that as an afterthought, but that wasn't the problem.
