I work with animals, so I'm VERY hard on my hands and nails, and somehow they hold up great for almost a whole month! She really pays attention to the little details, and I've loved how my nails have turned out both times. They do take appointments, but I've always managed to come in as a walk-in without any issues. I think all the girls were fairly happy with their services but after we left, they told me they felt like their nail technicians were rushing through the service or being lazy. That's unfortunate. My niece had gel-x service with French tip and later in the day, her nails had already started chipping. One of her gel nails looked like it was not attached securely and would fall off sooner than later. My daughter who had the manicure wanted to get a small red star on 2 nails and the technician seemed annoyed that we asked for the request. We showed her a photo and my daughter who was too shy to say anything and didn't complain about the mediocre attempt on the stars. I told her she needs to say something next time as we are paying for this. My daughter who is creative and has done her own nail art could do better. Her French manicure also started chipping the same day we had it done. The nail salon location was convenient and nice that they were able to accommodate but the service was just okay. I'm all about supporting nail salons as I grew up in a household where my mom had her own nail salon so I get it. The only reason I occasionally come back is because it's close to my house and convenient when I need something last-minute. Today, however, I decided to give them a chance with builder gel, and I deeply regret it. The video speaks for itself because I honestly don't know how this was considered acceptable work. I got black builder gel nails. Black is about as straightforward as it gets, yet somehow my nails were left crooked, slanted, uneven, poorly filled, and incompletely polished. Some nails looked like they were missing product toward the base, and the shaping was so inconsistent that my hands looked like they belonged to two different people. And before anyone says, "Why didn't you say something?" -- I DID. Multiple times. I repeatedly asked for the obvious issues to be fixed, and I could clearly tell they were becoming irritated with me for asking. I'm sorry, but if I'm paying $110, I'm going to expect $110 worth of work. Asking for my nails to actually be straight, filled properly, and fully polished is not being difficult. That is literally the service I paid for. The gentleman doing my nails was polite, and I'll give him credit for that. Unfortunately, being nice doesn't compensate for extremely poor workmanship. What bothers me most is that this wasn't some tiny imperfection that I was nitpicking. These were visibly crooked nails that were unfinished. I shouldn't have to explain to a professional that every nail needs to be properly shaped and completely covered in polish. Honestly, they should be embarrassed to charge $110 for this quality of work. They're lucky I paid, because after seeing the final result, I absolutely would have understood anyone refusing to pay for this. Needless to say, I will never spend another dollar here. There are far too many nail salons that actually care about the quality of their work to settle for this
