We come to Williamsburg 2-3 ones a year for vacation. Each visit we try to patronize a different business; especially food establishments. Since the COVID-19, we weren't up on our pedicures so we walked in and was helped immediately. The staff was friendly/professional, service was relaxing, not rushed and the salon was very clean. Awesome, highly recommended! read more

Nails Uptown - Terry micro-bladed my eyebrows and I absolutely love the final result! Highly recommend her! Here is before & after. Love - Nail Salons Near Me - Williamsburg, Virginia

My friend, who is handicapped, and I went here last Sunday for manicures and pedicures. This was the worst experience I have had in a nail salon. The girl doing my nails cut my cuticle and made it bleed. I am on a blood thinner medication and it took awhile for the bleeding to stop. Not only that, my gel manicure, which usually lasts about 2 weeks, started to chip in 5 days ! I will never go there again. Also I noticed the place was not as clean and orderly as it should be. After spending over $70.00 and leaving a big tip, they have lost a good customer. read more

Love coming here if I'm in the Williamsburg area for more than 2 weeks. Service is always exceptional. Prices vary, it all depends on what package best fits your needs. read more

Seriously ladies, no need to find anyone else for your lashes and beauty needs! Hands down, Terry is the best in the area. She does it all. Lashes, waxing, manis, pedis, etc. I've been going to her for 6+ months after trying to find someone experienced as well as a decent price. She's knowledge about the process and techniques, and listens to her clients with no miscommunication (very important). My lashes look naturally full, feel secure, stay put for maximum time (with proper care) and no damage to my own hair. Full set or just a fill is no problem. Call in for an appointment and she can accommodate you as best as possible! read more

Nails Uptown - Nail Salons Near Me - Williamsburg, Virginia

Uptown Nails is the WORST! The new owner argued with me that I have gel nails. I said NO, Acrylic. She said no you have gel nails. We went back and forth, finally, I decided just to wait for the nail tech. The new owner told the tech gel nail. I'm just shaking my head. I sit down with the nail tech who starts working on my nails and she says you have acrylics, do you want gel nail? I said NO, I got tired of arguing with that lady. The tech says no problem and gives me an acrylic fill. Then I go to get a pedi. It's Mother's Day after all. So I get my pedi and then when checking out, the new owner takes my bank card into a corner with her back turned to me to process my payment. I'm wondering why isn't this card reader in front of me? So i leave. The next day, my bank notifies me that $835.00 worth of golf equipment was purchased on my card in Georgia! I call the Fraud number provided by my bank and they tell me that I've also signed up and paid for monthly shipments of Godiva Chocolates in New Jersey. There were also multiple purchases made through Amazon, all using my bank card. The absolute worst thing of all, is discovered in August. I HAVE A NASTY TOENAIL FUNGUS! I ended up having my toenails cut down to the moons because they had separated from my nail beds. It is the most disgusting thing I've ever had to endure. I will care for my own toes from now on and furthermore I've learned to apply my own Acrylic nails. UPTOWN NAILS GETS ZERO STARS... read more

I really like it here! Their Monday/Tuesday $25 mani/pedi special is a steal! I've never needed to make an appointment and I've never had to wait. Only complaint is that the gel manicure is insanely expensive (even if you just ask for gel polish), but there isn't any place around here that will do it cheaper, so it's not really a valid complaint. The market is the market. I've also gotten my eyebrows and arms waxed here and had no complaints. I asked the girl who was doing my eyebrows to take care not to make them too thin and to just clean up, and she did a great job! I can particularly recommend Rachel for mani/pedis--she's really friendly and does a great job! read more

I went to this salon based on online reviews for a manicure and pedicure. The salon was clean and everyone was super friendly! They offer beer, wine, etc!!! I will return for future services if I'm in the area. read more

My mother and I see Eileen and Britney. Don't waste you money on anyone else there. They others always try to up sell you on on every service, even when you tell them 'No thank you', and it's hit or miss on the quality. Eileen and Britney do not push extra services and their work is consistently amazing, the best part in my mind is they speak English as their first language, so there is never any 'misunderstanding' on what you want, as has happen with others, before we discovered these two ladies. The shop is a bit cluttered, but I can get past that to see these girls. read more

My friend has been getting her nails done here for 3 years and constantly raves about the work Aaron and Terry do. When I was visiting her last weekend, I needed a fill and luckily Aaron and Terry fit me in on Sunday. My experience was both good and bad. The good news is I got a $20 acrylic fill that included 2 nails with art. The bad news is, it looks like I had a $10 manicure done by someone who has never done nails before. The whole experience started off bad because Aaron was 10 minutes late. Not late because of another customer. Late because he wasn't there yet. Then he did my fill and paint in less than 20 minutes which is great except that it LOOKED like he only took 20 minutes to do it. It's one thing to be fast and good, but this was fast and terrible. Now my nails have acrylic that's hardened in the sides of my nail bed and underneath the tips. He cut large chunks of skin away from the tops of my fingertips that are now scabbing over 2 days later. He didn't even take the time to fully remove the polish I came in wearing. There is clearly blue polish in my cuticles and sides of every single nail. Then the nail polish he put on was horrible. Even though I picked an OPI color, he put it on really thickly so now it's bubbling up and looks like a hot mess. The only redeeming part was the nail art Terry did. It was beautiful and she did it in less than a blink of an eye. Unfortunately because the rest of the fill/manicure is so horrible, I need to go somewhere else today and have it all redone because I'm embarrassed to have people look at it. I'm so confused as to how this place got voted Best of Williamsburg for so many years. I showed my friend who is a regular the results and she was shocked at how terrible it was so I know I'm not being overly critical. I will never go back there and it makes me worry about trying any place else in the city if this is the best the city has to offer. read more

My price varied for the services I received. That happens a lot so I checked to see what the prices were for what I actually got and I was over charged. If you go here make sure you check EVERYTHING before swiping your card. read more

My sister brought me here and upon entering, I thought is this really a nail salon? And I had such great service. We only had a little bit of time and was just going to get a polish change. But they offered an express pedicure and it was awesome! Not only that, a glass of wine with my pedi... Such a nice amenity! They have great deals, price is great, totally worth the drive! I'd definitely come back!!!! read more

Amazing service. It was my first visit. Definitely going back. Deluxe pedicure with leg massage was AMAZING!

Have my eye lashes done here they are really sweet and helpful ,they go out of there way to be of service and really try to make sure that you are happy with there service read more

If you want to get in and get out this place is great but if you want to be charged a ludicrous amount when their prices online are nothing compared to inside and then argue with them over it-this place rocks. I used to come in all the time for a 30 min acrylic fill (which they say is $13 and "up"). This time around after being a consistent customer I was charged $19 bc she asked me if I wanted them "cut down" which took a matter of 20 seconds and I have never been charged before. I have a new place that treats me right as I treat all of my customers as well so I won't be back. read more

So I initially came to Nails Uptown because they were close to where I live, their prices are decent, and when I called they actually said they did CND Solar Nails. Hallelujah! Unfortunately, they scheduled me with someone who doesn't work with artificial nails (mine is an acrylic overlaying my natural nails), but they were able to accommodate me with another technician who does Solar Nails. Yay! Needless to say, Aaron has been doing my nails for over four months now and I am always impressed. He has made some great suggestions on different techniques. There have been some scheduling snafus (I always make an appointment, but they had accidently triple booked him), but Jenny was quick to reschedule me and compensate me for my time. I even bring my 8 year old daughter and boyfriend for pedicures! They love the newly added space for pedicures and are always treated well. read more

Ive been coming here for years and it is absolutely the best. The owner Jenny always takes great care of us and you can tell shes very good hearted and treats her employees very well. She runs a wonderful business single handedly and has terrific prices, it's very clean, they always use fresh brand new tools. The parafin wax pedicure is just to die for. They are great for parties and weddings and will even come to your house. And what other salon in the area offers all the spa treatments AND piercings, ear candeling, eyelash extentions, waxing, eye brow tattoo, tanning, and massage. And they can do the best nail designs ever. Your seriously missing out if you've never been. The negative reviews are from the selfish customers who just complain for free stuff. read more

All three of us popped in and they outfitted us with three spa pedis and me with a manicure, to boot. My nail technician fixed my shellac-destroyed fingernails. If I lived here, this would be my regular spot. read more

Ill never go there again! Horrible nail experience. And they need new instruments. They use products as if they are low on supply. The tech tried to use her nail to dig under my acrylic to snap it off because its faster than soaking, even though she checked my nail and saw there was NO lifting or looseness at all. Ive never seen a nail salon operate like this in any state ive been to. The polish they put on my sister toes has color gaps, and she said the person who did it was in a rush. Im disappointed with the service I received. read more

Found this salon on the way back from Charlottesville from a girls weekend. We were ready to be home quite yet so we yelped the best nail salon in Williamsburg and found nails uptown. Best is an understatement, this place is GREAT! Update: my girlfriend just checked out and they charge her $20 for doing gel on her toes so it was $70 for a pedicure. NOT WORTH IT. They told her $50 then went to check out and it was $70. Who charges $20 for shellac. What a RIP OFF read more

Worst manicure I've ever had. Did the entire manicure in 15 minutes, left me with uneven lengths & rough ends. I had to file them myself as soon as I left. Most curious: other patrons we being served when we arrived & still being worked on when we left - are they special & we're not? Apparently we didn't count? Will not return. read more

This best manicure and Pedicure in town! Walk in and never a wait. Also recommend Henna brow.

I came in for a gel manicure this past Saturday around 11:30am. It was pretty busy but I was helped right away! They had a great selection of gel polish colors to choose from and they were helpful in helping me choose the perfect colors. I cannot remember the woman's name who did my nails but she was terrific! She was very meticulous in ensuring my nails were perfect (unlike some places where there are obvious mistakes/sloppiness). She even tried 3 different types of gold sparkling polish until she found one that would cover the nail without being too sparse. She was very friendly and we held a nice conversation the whole time she did my nails. I will be returning in the future and would absolutely recommend! read more

Nails Uptown - Niffler approved nails! My gel manicure is navy and sparkly gold. I love it! - Nail Salons Near Me - Williamsburg, Virginia

I have been to Uptown Nails several and more often than not had a great experience. I never have to wait as a walk in, because the owner keeps her shop fully staffed at all times. My favorite days to go are Thursdays, because it is their slowest day and very quiet! On Mondays and Tuesdays they offer a manicure and pedicure special for (I think) $25 or $35 dollars. On Sundays you get a free mimosa! And any day of the week you get a 15% discount off of your bill with a Yelp check in. The owner Jenny is very nice and always smiling wanting to keep her customers happy and coming back. My favorite Nail Techs are Haley and Katie. Great prices, great service!!! read more

I went to get my nails and eyebrows done here the nail job was fantastic. But when I got my eyebrows done they ripped skin off and they have been hurting for a couple days now. They blamed it on my skin product but it was clearly not done properly because I've never had skin actually removed under and above my eyebrows before while getting them waxed. I do not recommend you get your eyebrows done there. read more

I can do better job than this by my self! When I requested the technician if she could make the nails thinner and color it evenly she said no and then she kicked me out of her station and let other girl do my nails. Everyone was looking at me it was very embarrassing. I also cant chill that i paid $35 for this. read more

Been coming here since high school and the service has always been consistent! Love the mani/pedi for 25$ they have on Mondays and Tuesdays. I have only been here for waxing and facial but I highly recommend it! As a regular customer for the past two years, their work is consistent and high quality at an extremely reasonable price. $12 for eyebrow and lip whereas I could easily pay $15 just for eyebrow elsewhere. They accept walk-ins and I'm usually in and out within fifteen minutes. read more

Walked in during the busy time on a Sunday for myself and daughter for pedicures and manicures. Had to wait 30 minutes but we put our names in and checked out the other stores nearby. We were in town celebrating my husband's birthday and decided to try this shop for a couple's pedicure. It was the worst experience. My pedicure was over in 15 minutes. The salon is crowded and not very clean. The pedicure itself was not great, nails were crooked. The implements are shared between customers, after being dipped into an antiseptic solution. I don't understand why they don't use individual, sanitized implements for each customer. read more

always busy, but if you go in knowing it's a crazy popular spot, Jenny the owner really cares about your quality of experience. Lots of services, products for sale- but it's the owners work ethic that steals the show. Find times they aren't a packed house for a more soothing spa atmosphere. First time visiting and asked for a gel French mani. The place was very busy but I only had to wait 10mins or less even though I was a walk-in. The man who did my nails was very nice and worked quickly yet did a very good job. I could tell he cared about how my nails turned out and how I would feel about myself in the end. Price was reasonable and I walked out with pretty nails and a smile! Will definitely return! read more

My daughter and I had an appointment for two manicures and pedicures. But when we arrived they told us they were so busy! So they took my daughter for the manicure and I sat next to her no one came for me, apparently when you don't want color or you are sensitive to having your cuticles cut you are not worth a manicure. When we asked where was my stylist they told us laughingly when you only wanted the water bath and lotion, and we are very busy. Apparently they were because they hurriedly did my daughter's nails which where horribly done by the end. Then they moved my daughter to the pedicure station, now remember we had and appointment. They made sure to find two pedicure stations together, I had to go to the bathroom. When I came back I expected my station been feld with water but no. My daughter's pedicure had started and I sat there waiting. When I commented to my daughter that last time I had a pedicure I had had the paragon bath that the next lady over was having, because since I don't get color I spend the money on the special treatment. Well you should if seen them moving about to get me service, by now my daughter was done and I was not going to get my service for which I had an appointment for! HORRIBLE service and price is not worth it. read more
