I started going to creative when I was 6 months pregnant and couldn't reach my toes anymore. Of the "general" nail salons (not spas), this place is my favorite! Kim is my favorite favorite but everyone is very kind. It's a relaxed and friendly atmosphere without being too casual. They even have pedicure chairs for little kids, which made my 7 year old feel like a princess! I can only speak to their gel mani and pedicure services: I've always walked out with great nails! The pedicure is especially relaxing. They offer a number of types of pedicures, but even the basic one includes a leg massage, scrub, and hot towel. The staff range from super friendly to quiet and reserved but no one is rude. I also really appreciate that they don't "nickel and dime" you like another salon in the area that started charging extra for basic pedicure procedure (here's looking at you, Uptown Nails). The pricing is very reasonable at Creative and the location is great. Tons of parking and usually only a mile or two from where I'm running errands. I highly recommend Creative! read more

My partner and I went in for a pedicure and I also got a take off and new dip set. Theresa and Anna did our pedicures and Kelly did my nails. The quality of our pedicures was amazing. Both techs spent time and did not rush. All the tools were clean and sterile. Kelly did a wonderful job w my nails. I unfortunately got a chip on one of the nails, which was my own fault and Kelly fixed this for me free of charge. I will 100% be returning. read more

Sadly I cannot give a good review for Creative Nails. I had an appt and Josie seemed annoyed as my nails were thicker than she liked. They were the usual but after wrapping my nails she took a pair of nail clippers and ripped the dip off damaging my nails. She was watching all that was going on in salon as she was filing my nails. They ended up looking nice but on day four I had one chip where she did not extend the dip over my entire nail and another broke and today I lost another and one more is lifting. read more

The set up is very nice, they have complementary cokes and water which is very nice. For my nails I asked for acrylics and they did not give me any and they completely messed up one nail and never fixed it. I would not recommended for acrylic nail sets. read more

Best set Ive ever gotten! As a chronic acrylic wearer, Ive had my fair share of bad or uneven shapes. The workers at this studio were patient and hard-working in filling my nails (previously done at a different salon) and make the shape from a rushed, wide oval-ish to a beautiful and even coffin shape. Every few moments I would glance at my hands and be amazed at how much better and better they were looking. They make sure that they are the perfect width and shape! and at a perfectly reasonable price considering the time and care they put into it. I requested my eyebrows to be done. When she (Kim) finished, my skin was burning. I thought that was very unusual but figured it would feel better shortly. That night and the following morning my skin was still irritated and saw in the morning that my skin is actually BURNED. I immediately went to the salon. Kim was apologetic and gave me the 10$ back. I went here again for a girls' getaway, and again, the staff are incredibly sweet, the place is extremely clean, and the work they do on nails are detail-oriented. Manicures are $12, and the pedicures are a mere $21. Whoo hoo! Love this place; I just wish they moved to the NoVA area! +great pedicure service :D read more

Just left this place. I realllly want to give it more stars but I'll tell you why I only have it three. First the positives, this place is really clean. They have liners for the tubs. A fresh one each time keeps you from questioning if the tub has been sanitized. I only had to wait a few minutes before being seated in a pedicure chair. This is where things went left... The tech was CLEARLY rushing through the pedicure. It was over and done in less than 20 minutes. I know that because the massage chair counts down from 30. Once she was done she grabbed her wallet and phone and told me she would be back to do my manicure. SHE LEFT! After waiting about 20 minutes I told another person that I would take anyone. I expressed my displeasure with the pedicure and told the I would prefer someone else for the manicure. They told me they would get someone else. Imagine my surprise when the same girl Sat back down to do my manicure, awkward... I will admit, she redeemed herself on the manicure. IT WAS GREAT!!! If I were in town I would definitely give this place another try. From looking around the others were giving lots of care and time to the other people getting services. I really wish they had told me that she had limited time. I would have waited one someone else or for her to get back so it wasn't so rushed. read more

I have never had my feet scrubbed and massaged for go long while getting a pedicure! I felt so pampered especially since I'd been doing a lot of walking that weekend. I think she exfoliated each of my feet for at least a minute each, plus gave me an extensive foot massage before applying the polish. This was the basic pedicure, so I was very pleased about that. The quality of the manicure and pedicure themselves was no better or worse than you'd find anywhere else at the price, but I was very happy with getting my feet so pampered! read more

I am very disappointed with this salon. I have given them business for four years and when I went in after they reopened, they had raised their prices and didn't tell me before doing my pedicure. When I was given the receipt to sign, I questioned it and was told it was because they are getting their supplies out of the country. I think that is a lie. I think they are trying to recover after being closed due to the Wuhan virus. The fact that they weren't honest with me, will prevent me from going back. read more

This nail salon is totally tops. I walked in and was seated immediately. After asking me how I like my nails I had come to find out the woman working on me is the owner. I respect small business where the owners actually take ownership. The products were great. The acrylic was in good shape, the nail polish was fresh and a placed by color so you can pick easily and the place was so clean, you can eat off the floor. From the time I sat down to the time I got up, it was a total of 25 mins for cut down, fills and polish. Everyone was friendly and the conversation gave me the laugh I could use. The acrylic is so thick on a couple nails its unattractive and one of the nails was crooked. I told the nail tech it wasn't straight and he said he would fix it. He did some filing and then put the gel coat on it. I looked at again, still crooked, my natural nail bed extended further on the side then the acrylic and the false tip. When I told him it was still crooked he then said "no its not crooked, I looked, that's just how your finger is". On top of that, hours later the crooked one started to separate from the natural nail. I called and spoke with the owner and she said to come back so she can look at it so I did. Before I could show the owner the nail, the same guy said "I fix I fix" and sat me down and asked me if I hit my nail. I said "no I just took a shower." He then proceeded to loudly tell the other nail techs I hit my nail but assumed that because he wasn't speaking English I couldn't understand him. When he was done it looked worse then before. I told him I didn't like it and he he threw a hissy fit and told me to ask the other patrons to look at my nails to see if there was anything wrong with them. Then he said he'd take them off but he wouldn't give me my money back because, and I quote "you already gave me money". It was the most irritating experience I have ever had. read more

Not impressed at all. Called to see if they had an appointment available and was told to come on over they could do my nails in 20 minutes. So I told her I was going to run to the store to get a drink and I'd be there within the 20 minutes. I was there in 17, as soon as I walked in the door they asked me could I wait another 15 minutes. I sat down, the girl that I understand was going to do my nails got up walked around talking to other employees and then went outside to smoke. Loved this place. No shellac options, but the lady "Gheen" (middle agedVietnamese lady) was very thorough. My nails lasted almost TWO weeks! Very clean and neat nail jobs.
