First off, when she started cutting, there was a collective gasp from some of the customers watching as over a foot of hair was being cut off. I had to reassure them that this is what I wanted. Then came the coloring, oy did that take forever. Over an hour just to apply. Oy!!! She then took me to rinse it all out & wash my hair. OMG this is where I think I've fallen in love with getting my hair done again. She didn't just wash my hair, she gave me a scalp massage. It was heavenly. When she finished styling & I was all blown out I was amazed at how awesome my hair looked. Seriously. It's been a minute since it looked this good. I only have a couple of complaints. One was during this was how warm it was in the shop. Seriously. I felt like it was summer time and they didn't have an air conditioner. I didn't even wear a sweater or warm shirt but man, I was schfitzing! The next was finding something. All I wanted was to check out make up brushes but would have been late for my appointment if I kept looking. IMPOSSIBLE!! You'd think going to where it's labeled 'makeup' it might also include tools. Since our first visit three years ago was great, we decided to try them again. We were delighted that this facility was still providing quality service and adherence to CDC guidelines. All four of us were serviced together and all tools used for the pedicure were new and opened in our presence. The foot baths were freshly prepped in our presence to include fresh tub liners for each foot bath. Clinicians all wore face mask and gloves. We watched them dispose of the instruments used for each pedicure and the re-cleaning of the stations which included the entire pedicure chair. She is a genius! Loradona is the sweetest gal and really listened to my goals about my hair. I am quite lazy and never heat style my hair. She fixed my at-home color and actually made my hair healthier! Loradona has been cutting and coloring my hair for almost a year now. I adore this woman. She has cut my pre-teen daughter's hair and she loved it! I was in desperate need of a wax and Michelle fit me in while my color was setting (she had a no-show).
