The receptionist at the front was great, kind and accommodating. The other star is because the people who worked there are very nice as well But i don't go to a nail salon just to be around nice people, it's to get my nails done, and honestly i felt really frustrated with this experience overall I asked for my manicure to be cut and filed and each every other nail was a completely different shape, we had to go back and forth multiple times to fix it and it was extremely frustrating. My right hand has longer nails then my left hand now but that's what it took to get them the same shape. As for my pedicure, i stated i wanted a regular pedicure multiple times but i guess it was misunderstood, and she was nice so i believed her, but she started doing gel manicure and i just let it slide because she already started and she was clearly rushing to make it to another client. To summarize, everyone was nice, but it's a poorly run business. read more

Nothing about paradise at this place. Walking in here was a big mistake and a waste of money. Absolutely, no customer service. Ideally, this place works for the woman who doesn't pay attention to details. Nancy, who claims to be doing nails for 26 years did my Après gel nails in less than half an hour to get me out of the way and go to the next client. She moved so quick and rough than she cut me and didn't bother to even say sorry. She Didn't even bother to clean the nail polish that she got on the surrounding cuticles or file them until I had to ask her to do it. The best part was going home and the gel polish peeling. The receptionist was nice and kept insisting that if I wasn't happy to say it and they would fix it but that's not the point. Every good nail salon knows that it should be right the first time around. I had to drive back and she had the same lady fix it. The lady argued with me that I didn't trust her. Damn right! You cut me and made me drive back! She was angry and aggressive when fixing my nails that she still managed to screw them up again. Even the second time around, I have air bubbles and a nail polish brush hair stuck on one of them. She was so pissed that she couldn't even get that right. Also, the girl who did my pedicure butchered my toes. She kept hustling the sugar free scrub because it was necessary. She left my toenails uneven and left them looking crusty. Don't bother coming here. You'll be disappointed. I always look forward to getting my nails done and they absolutely killed it this time. I haven't had my nails done nearly 8 months and I wanted to try a new place and to do the Gel-X for first time. I called and booked appt with Sylva for Gel-X and gel pedi with someone else. First of all, the place is CRAMPED. I was put to the end of a corner that had barely any room to move. Throughout the process of my nails while I was getting a pedi, it was very uncomfortable for me and I'm sure for the nail tech too but she didn't seem to care. She cut up my cuticles so bad that it wouldn't stop bleeding and it completely messed up the look of my nails at the end. She didn't use good quality product to get me the look I wanted. She left several glue residue and paint marks all around my nails. I paid $80 for a 7 yr old to paint my nails. Look at the photos that were taken at the salon. After she was done, I went to wash my nails in hopes it would be removed but it didn't wash off. I came back to show her and she was already gone! So unprofessional. As for my gel's pedi, it started to chip 2nd day. Definitely not going back to this place. read more

My toes look good, but they are sore! The nail tech used a dremel on my cuticles, which I've never had done before. I see in other reviews plenty of instances of customers leaving with bleeding cuticles, and though that was not my experience personally, I can easily see how that can happen here. I've literally never in my life had a painful pedicure before, and that's what I experienced today. My tech was perfectly nice and she had her daughter there and she's just trying to make a living, but one of the big reasons I get pedicures is for the pampering and relaxation, and I could not relax at all. read more

Came in as walk-in and was very grateful that they were willing to take me when I called however the minute I walked in I did not feel very welcomed. Two young ladies helped me I asked for pedicure manicure , when asked color I said clear. The photos I'm sharing were take same day after my service. I'm not sure what the issue was exactly but they worked so quickly and abruptly on my feet and hands. Then about 20 minutes into service said ok your happy? Mind you the woman next to me had been on the chair getting same service when I walked in and was still not done when I left. I looked down at my feet and hands and honestly wasn't sure what to say. I probably should've said something but I was so uncomfortable and felt like they didn't really want to help me. They charged me 55.00 I gave them a 20.00 tip because honestly I didn't want them to say "we knew she wasn't gonna tip big". I truly wish this business all the success I believe the owner is Armenian and as the child of immigrants myself I wish hard working people all the blessings in the world. I just ask that you please consider treating people with kindness and respect. I know the employees along with a customer were speaking about me in Armenian and I will not pretend to know what they said I just honestly didn't feel welcomed. nails paradise is just another one of my favorite go to salons. they are very efficient and kind ladies. i love how they make it convenient for you to make appointments the same day. i came in yesterday 04/07 because i recently got a new job & had to take off my long nails (sad moment) and go with medium/short length nails. i was able to explain to my nail tech adrine and she did complete wonderful job. i showed her a photo reference of what size, shape, and color would be approval for my new job and because of adrine im completely in love with the medium length coffin shape w/ the natural light pink bubble gum color. during the process of getting my nails done adrine was giving me tips and advice of how to take care of my nails (also my natural nails) and i really enjoyed that. so happy with my nails thaankyouu! read more

Normally, if I had a negative experience somewhere, I would choose not to write about it over reviewing it with one star, but my experience at NailsParadise was so unfortunate that I needed to share. While I was happy with the look of the pedicure I received from the owner of the nail salon, she had dug into the sides of my nails so severely that my big toe on my right foot had started bleeding. She claimed that she was removing my ingrown toenail and I trusted her due to her apparent expertise, but my toe was in severe pain and continued throbbing for at least 24 hours after. I had read a review about someone's toe getting infected here but chalked it up as anomaly. Two days later, I went to the doctor to get it checked out because it hurt so badly, I couldn't sleep. The doctor said that it was indeed an infection and that the way she went about removing the ingrown toenail actually made it worse. I had to get an incredibly painful procedure done and now am in a toe-cast for the next week or so. Beware of the owner. She's super rough with the feet and seems like she's trying to get the pedicure done as fast as possible. Also, I question how sanitary that place is. There were toenails on the floor around me as well as on the chair I put my stuff on. read more

First time here and I'm super duper happy with my nails. It was a lot of color to pick from and I was super lost and undecided for a second because all the color was so beautiful. Staff was super friendly as well and not even the place was clean and fresh even when you do your toe nails they use a plastic bag around compare to other. So I did pedicure and redials my nail today super happy. Plus I did rose gold chrome and hands down it was so beautiful that I forgot to take the picture. Stupid me went home change the hair color to blue and my nails turned purple. But I will definitely coming back next tine and do the same color and take a picture plus enjoy the dolor. I absolutely love nails paradise. This is my 4th or 5th time coming here, and I have never had any bad experiences. They nail technicians are extremely talented, approachable, and great at their jobs. The other times I've been here, I got acrylic extensions either with chrome or with designs and I'm always beyond satisfied with the final product! This time around, I grew out my nails and got a Brown french tip gel manicure on my natural nails done by Silva, and they turned out fantastic. I also brought my best friend with me and she got Gel X extensions with heart designs and rhinestones done by Gigi. She was so happy to have found a nail salon she could come back to. My appointment was scheduled at 12:30 and I was properly taken for my pedicure and did not have to wait at all. I got both a pedicure and gel X with nail art. UPDATE: The owner returned my call and was very apologetic for the experience. She was understandable and managed to resolve the situation. I appreciated her reaching out and acknowledging the situation. I went in for a basic manicure (no polish) and a gel pedicure. This review is more so for the manicure as the pedicure was fine. I asked to simply just clean up my cuticles and file my nails. Although the tech was very nice, she cut me twice and made me bleed. In the 15+ years I've had my nails done, I've never had that happened. I could tell she was inexperienced as how she was holding the tool and still left some skin (will show in pictures). The real shocker was my total- $70! Like I mentioned above, no polish just mainly a cuticle cleanup. I paid and left with my nails looking worse. About 2 hrs later, my cuticles kept bleeding which is when I decided to call to see if anything could be done. The front rep said the manager wasn't there so she took down my number and assured me they would call back. Hours pass by and no call. So I call again and it's the same response. Waited all day with no luck. I would think when you run a business you would want your customers to leave satisfied or at least return their call. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone and would suggest they properly train their current techs. read more

I went in for a deluxe pedicure which the website stated was an hour long, 30 minutes longer than their basic. I received a 30 minute long pedicure (not a minute longer) so I assumed they misheard me or made a mistake and only gave me a basic. The massage was extremely short rubbing of the calves. When I went to pay, they insisted that the pedicurest completed all the steps of a delux (I.e hot towels, foot scrub, cooling mask) and the steps were the deciding factor not the time. My past experience with a foot scrub included 10 minutes of soaking, and a quick google search about foot cooling masks instructs to "Leave on for a minimum of 20-30 minutes" but I did not receive this during my deluxe pedicure. I addressed my reason to choose the deluxe over basic was wanting an hour attentive pedicure but they continued to insist it was not based on time but the services. I recognize I do not know how much time the resources they used require, so they may not need soak or wait time. The location was nice and they provided free beverages, but if you are considering a deluxe you may want to clarify with them before hand what services to expect, and how long. They stamped my receipt with a discount for a facial, which is something I am not interested in redeeming. read more

Woah, this place is reallyyyyy a (nail's) paradise. I called in the afternoon and had no issue scheduling an appointment for after work. Upon arriving, you are nicely greeted by staff and the location was not busy at all on a week night. There is available (free) parking in the back or on the street. I love the aesthetic of the salon, great massage chairs, nail polishes are organized on the wall for you to choose and the place was very clean. I really enjoyed how attentive the nail techs were, from the color of your nails, temperature of the water and their work. Everything was spot on. Staff were very polite, no complaints. One star off as I felt it was a bit more expensive than other places, but I enjoyed my experience greatly. But what I loved the most is that they offer you a free drink! In response to nails paradise I did go with the nail techs recommendation and I did choose a solid color and it still peeled off the next day. When I paint my own nails at home it lasts much longer. The color I originally wanted was not a solid color it was sheer color and it could have worked as a base color for a French manicure, unfortunately it seems that the nail tech that was working on my nails did not have the ability to provide me with the French manicure that I wanted originally. When I realized this is when I settled for a solid color and still got disappointed when it peeled off the next day, this is unacceptable. read more

I chose this location mainly because it's walking distance from my house. And my friend and I were having an extreeeemely lazy day. We were able to get an appointment right away so that was nice. We both got a mani pedi and the girls that worked on us were all friendly and quick. Perhaps too quick because although my pedi was great, my mani lasted less than a week. And my manis usually last two weeks, even without gel. I know, I know...I take good care of my hands. My manicurists are always amazed my manis last so long. So that's how I know when I haven't received a quality mani. I'm typing this as I'm sitting outside my usual salon, waiting for my girl to fit me in last minute for a polish change. With so many other options in the area, I doubt I would give Nails Paradise a second chance. read more

First time ever going here and I got the most amazing service. From walking in to getting greeted by receptionist along with the employees to getting my services done. 1st off I'm soo happy it's Armenian owned! 2nd the service was expectational! I didn't wait 1 minute went in for my appointment and got my service done right away. The owner Gigi absolute sweetheart it's like your in a family salon everyone from the customers to the employees were so nice. You didn't hear any of the technicians talking in their language instead they were speaking to the customers which made you feel even more comfortable not thinking their speaking of you. Patsy and Lani were my technician's they were quick took their time and did amazing work. Patsy did Gelx for me with a custom design gel manicure and Lani did my pedicure cleaned my cuticles with no rush and took her time yet did everything quite fast. I was out within a hour with both services left happy. I had an amazing experience here and met someone who was sitting next to me a customer who was also soo sweet.
