I had googled best powder dip nail salon in Glendale California and this establishment popped Up I am super picky with nail salons not only because I want the service to be excellent but one of my biggest pet peeves is when a nail salon is too loud with rap music or is cluttered with random décor. My OCD kicks in and I just wanna run out. I also dislike when the nail salon employees dress poorly Because at the end of the day the are a representation of the company. So far this salon seems to be my new go to for my nails. Convenient parking front and back. Modern and sophisticated décor. ******** I didn't see a single live, laugh, and love, sign from tj max on the wall nor did I see old Halloween and Christmas decorations hanging on the ceiling it was a dream come true***** My pedicure and powder dip nails were fabulous. Thanks kathy and araz. They offer tea, water, mimosas, etc. The front desk woman, who I am assuming is the manager was super nice, dressed accordingly and hospitable however I did not get her name. Nevertheless it was nice to feel welcome in a new salon. Again, I really enjoyed the fact that it is the nice, clean, modern, and sophisticated salon. First time here and I'm super duper happy with my nails. It was a lot of color to pick from and I was super lost and undecided for a second because all the color was so beautiful. Staff was super friendly as well and not even the place was clean and fresh even when you do your toe nails they use a plastic bag around compare to other. So I did pedicure and redials my nail today super happy. Plus I did rose gold chrome and hands down it was so beautiful that I forgot to take the picture. Stupid me went home change the hair color to blue and my nails turned purple. But I will definitely coming back next tine and do the same color and take a picture plus enjoy the dolor. Because it was so beautiful and I'm mad at myself for being stupid. Rose gold chrome turned purple because of my blue hair color. ( All my fault not the stores fault). Just wanted to show how it turned out with my stupid fault. I definitely highly recommend this place! read more

I absolutely love nails paradise. This is my 4th or 5th time coming here, and I have never had any bad experiences. They nail technicians are extremely talented, approachable, and great at their jobs. The other times I've been here, I got acrylic extensions either with chrome or with designs and I'm always beyond satisfied with the final product! This time around, I grew out my nails and got a Brown french tip gel manicure on my natural nails done by Silva, and they turned out fantastic. I also brought my best friend with me and she got Gel X extensions with heart designs and rhinestones done by Gigi. She was so happy to have found a nail salon she could come back to. I love nails paradise and will forever be a loyal customer! read more

This place is amazing !!! I have been waiting to write a review from the day I have visited this salon. First of all this place is very clean and neat. All girls ( Gege, Araz, Anashe, Armine )are amazing what they do. I never had a dipping powder lasting me more than 1 week, but not anymore. Araz did my dipping powder and I fell in love with her work, she takes her time and each and every time doing exceptional job, she is just perfectionist. I love going there and love their service. I am so glad I found this place and will never go to another place for manicure and pedicure. read more

My toes look good, but they are sore! The nail tech used a dremel on my cuticles, which I've never had done before. I see in other reviews plenty of instances of customers leaving with bleeding cuticles, and though that was not my experience personally, I can easily see how that can happen here. I've literally never in my life had a painful pedicure before, and that's what I experienced today. My tech was perfectly nice and she had her daughter there and she's just trying to make a living, but one of the big reasons I get pedicures is for the pampering and relaxation, and I could not relax at all. read more

Came in as walk-in and was very grateful that they were willing to take me when I called however the minute I walked in I did not feel very welcomed. Two young ladies helped me I asked for pedicure manicure , when asked color I said clear. The photos I'm sharing were take same day after my service. I'm not sure what the issue was exactly but they worked so quickly and abruptly on my feet and hands. Then about 20 minutes into service said ok your happy? Mind you the woman next to me had been on the chair getting same service when I walked in and was still not done when I left. I looked down at my feet and hands and honestly wasn't sure what to say. I probably should've said something but I was so uncomfortable and felt like they didn't really want to help me. They charged me 55.00 I gave them a 20.00 tip because honestly I didn't want them to say "we knew she wasn't gonna tip big". I truly wish this business all the success I believe the owner is Armenian and as the child of immigrants myself I wish hard working people all the blessings in the world. I just ask that you please consider treating people with kindness and respect. I know the employees along with a customer were speaking about me in Armenian and I will not pretend to know what they said I just honestly didn't feel welcomed. nails paradise is just another one of my favorite go to salons. they are very efficient and kind ladies. i love how they make it convenient for you to make appointments the same day. i came in yesterday 04/07 because i recently got a new job & had to take off my long nails (sad moment) and go with medium/short length nails. i was able to explain to my nail tech adrine and she did complete wonderful job. i showed her a photo reference of what size, shape, and color would be approval for my new job and because of adrine im completely in love with the medium length coffin shape w/ the natural light pink bubble gum color. during the process of getting my nails done adrine was giving me tips and advice of how to take care of my nails (also my natural nails) and i really enjoyed that. so happy with my nails thaankyouu! read more

Photos attached are what I asked for vs what I got. They should be ashamed of themselves for charging me $60 for this! The woman who did my nails was very sweet but the other staff, more specifically the women at the front desk and the managers treat the Asian staff so bad I felt so bad for them. Definitely do not recommend going here if you want any sort of nail art. Also extremely overpriced for a job not executed. read more

Woah, this place is reallyyyyy a (nail's) paradise. I called in the afternoon and had no issue scheduling an appointment for after work. Upon arriving, you are nicely greeted by staff and the location was not busy at all on a week night. There is available (free) parking in the back or on the street. I love the aesthetic of the salon, great massage chairs, nail polishes are organized on the wall for you to choose and the place was very clean. I really enjoyed how attentive the nail techs were, from the color of your nails, temperature of the water and their work. Everything was spot on. Staff were very polite, no complaints. One star off as I felt it was a bit more expensive than other places, but I enjoyed my experience greatly. But what I loved the most is that they offer you a free drink! I tried their mimosa and it was delicious. I will for sure be back soon! read more

I chose this location mainly because it's walking distance from my house. And my friend and I were having an extreeeemely lazy day. We were able to get an appointment right away so that was nice. We both got a mani pedi and the girls that worked on us were all friendly and quick. Perhaps too quick because although my pedi was great, my mani lasted less than a week. And my manis usually last two weeks, even without gel. I know, I know...I take good care of my hands. My manicurists are always amazed my manis last so long. So that's how I know when I haven't received a quality mani. I'm typing this as I'm sitting outside my usual salon, waiting for my girl to fit me in last minute for a polish change. With so many other options in the area, I doubt I would give Nails Paradise a second chance. read more

First time ever going here and I got the most amazing service. From walking in to getting greeted by receptionist along with the employees to getting my services done. 1st off I'm soo happy it's Armenian owned! 2nd the service was expectational! I didn't wait 1 minute went in for my appointment and got my service done right away. The owner Gigi absolute sweetheart it's like your in a family salon everyone from the customers to the employees were so nice. You didn't hear any of the technicians talking in their language instead they were speaking to the customers which made you feel even more comfortable not thinking their speaking of you. Patsy and Lani were my technician's they were quick took their time and did amazing work. Patsy did Gelx for me with a custom design gel manicure and Lani did my pedicure cleaned my cuticles with no rush and took her time yet did everything quite fast. I was out within a hour with both services left happy. I had an amazing experience here and met someone who was sitting next to me a customer who was also soo sweet. Just got my nails done here with Ana She was amazing overall experience with amazing and they offered mimosas and champagne upon arrival along with coffee and water as well. My appointment was scheduled at 12:30 and I was properly taken for my pedicure and did not have to wait at all. I got both a pedicure and gel X with nail art. I highly recommend this place very well-kept ,great customer service, and overall happy with the final results. read more

UPDATE: The owner returned my call and was very apologetic for the experience. She was understandable and managed to resolve the situation. I appreciated her reaching out and acknowledging the situation. I went in for a basic manicure (no polish) and a gel pedicure. This review is more so for the manicure as the pedicure was fine. I asked to simply just clean up my cuticles and file my nails. Although the tech was very nice, she cut me twice and made me bleed. In the 15+ years I've had my nails done, I've never had that happened. I could tell she was inexperienced as how she was holding the tool and still left some skin (will show in pictures). The real shocker was my total- $70! Like I mentioned above, no polish just mainly a cuticle cleanup. I paid and left with my nails looking worse. About 2 hrs later, my cuticles kept bleeding which is when I decided to call to see if anything could be done. The front rep said the manager wasn't there so she took down my number and assured me they would call back. Hours pass by and no call. So I call again and it's the same response. Waited all day with no luck. I would think when you run a business you would want your customers to leave satisfied or at least return their call. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone and would suggest they properly train their current techs. read more

This will now be my go to nail spot. I love the location (plenty of free street parking) the atmosphere is perfect and friendly and my nails are TOP NOTCH. My gal Sylvia hooked me UP. She was so nice and incredibly detail oriented which I appreciated. She took her TIME! I never felt rushed or like an inconvenience like so many other nail places make you feel. At first I thought this place was gonna be great because they're really good at making appointments. Like after you call you get a confirmation text & you even get a reminder. & I know everyone is excited to get their nails done but this place is not gonna spacing out their clients. The whole nail salon is filled & they obviously overbook people. Even tho I made an appointment I was told to wait outside where other clients waited. I wanna say there was 5 other people outside. Came here on a Sunday because they were open early and I have to say I'm pretty impressed with the service provided. I had a manicure and pedicure (in at 10am and was out the door by 10:45) they were fast, clean, and most importantly my nail polish that normally chips within 24 hours is still intact! Lovely! Hi yes when we do acrylic fill we make sure to remove all lifting old acrylic parts and then clean with primer and then add the new acrylic for acrylic filled with cuticle cleaning and gel polish. It’s $55.

I originally got my eyelashes done here a few weeks ago, and they were uneven and looked unnatural to me, so I decided not to get them redone. When it was time to remove them, I figured this would be the best place to go since they had done the original set. I NEVER expected to leave with almost all of my natural eyelashes cut down and damaged. The removal process was absolutely awful. The technician had me lie down, put eye patches on me, applied eyelash remover, waited approximately 10 seconds, and immediately started pulling at my extensions. When some of them wouldn't come off, she started PLUCKING MY NATURAL EYELASHES OUT. I understand that a few natural lashes might come out during removal, especially since I use a lash growth serum and have quite a lot of lashes. But this was NOT a few stray eyelashes. She was plucking out SO MANY of them. To make matters worse, as she was plucking and tugging the remover got into my eyes, causing intense burning, I literally jumped out of my seat. My right eye was somewhat tolerable, but my left eye was burning so badly that I could barely stand the pain. The technician continued working despite me expressing how much it hurt. The employee working on the client next to me even heard me complaining about the pain, they talked a bit and the removal continued. Then I started hearing snipping and cutting noises. I could literally feel what seemed like my eyelashes being cut, but I could not imagine that someone would actually be cutting off that many of my natural lashes. After several minutes of hearing those noises and feeling those motions, I realized something was seriously wrong. When I finally looked at my eyelashes, I was HORRIFIED. Almost all of my natural eyelashes had been cut down to extremely short lengths. They are now uneven, with individual lashes appearing to be different lengths, and there is still glue residue left behind that was not properly removed. I cannot even begin to explain how upsetting this is. I have spent so much time growing and maintaining my natural eyelashes with a lash serum, only for them to be ruined during what should have been a routine removal appointment. My lashes are now so short that I cannot even wear mascara. I may have to wait months for them to grow back, and there is no guarantee they will return to their previous condition in months. HOW does someone go in for an eyelash removal appointment and leave with their natural eyelashes practically destroyed? If the extensions were not coming off properly, the technician should have taken the proper steps to remove them safely instead of repeatedly plucking and cutting my natural lashes. If the process was taking too long, that is not an excuse to rush or take shortcuts at the expense of a customer's natural eyelashes and comfort. I left with damaged natural lashes, burning eyes, and literally unfixable lashes. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. If you care about your eyelashes, please think twice before coming here. I would not wish this experience on anyone. Don't worry I will post the pics. Left and right is different lengths due to different cuts with some old extensions still on there. Thanks for letting me know that they're not supposed to cut off my lashes. I can't even put mascara on them right now. It would have been great if you asked me for my appt time so you can talk to the person who did them. Either way your response says everything I need to know about your business.

Where to begin this review. First of all, this review is long overdue. Since the new management, everything about this salon is getting better by the day. The salon is very pretty and cozy and the staff are very friendly and nice. I feel that for many people (including me) the enjoyment of getting my nails done was taken away for many reasons. However, it's safe to say that I look forward to getting my nails done as much as possible now. There are many things I LOVE about Nail Paradise but here are just a few reasons. 1. First of all, Gege is the best nail technician I have ever had. I'm very loyal to everyone I go to (hair, eyebrows, etc.), but for some reason I kept changing my nail technician every few years. My main issue with other technicians was that they either ALWAYS took me in late, would take a long time to do my nails or my nails wouldn't last long. However, since the first day I went to Gege she has never taken me in late (or she calls that she is running late), she does my gel manicure in 30 minutes or so, and my nails last so long that people think I have acrylics. I have long nails and I do gel polish and my nails easily can last up to a month and a half. Nothing changes on my nails (i.e. color doesn't change or chip) until I get it done. People are so amazed how my nails look good for so long and they often question me when I tell them that my nails are just gel manicure. Also, Gege is very friendly. She will talk to you and make you feel comfortable and in due time she will get to know you well enough that she tells you what colors or products she has that you may be interested in. 2. Second, the salon is VERY clean. I know it seems like all nail salons should use new and sanitized tools, but many salons (surprisingly) don't. I walk out always feeling fresh and clean and never have to worry about the possibility of an infection. 3. Third, they have such a wide variety of colors that it's overwhelming. Any shade, hint, or sparkle you want, you will for sure find. The staff and technicians are also extremly friendly and will help you find what you're looking for. Many times, I just walk in and tell them to give me a nice new color and they already know what I would like (referring to point 1). 4. Additionally, the location is amazing and parking is very convenient. Overall, I love Nail Paradise and I would recommend everyone to go there. If you want your nails to look amazing, last a long time, actually enjoy getting your nails done, then you have to go to Nail Paradise. read more

This place is ascetically pleasing when you walk in, however I wish the service was just as admirable. First off I asked for Gel polishes and was given one book to pick from when I noticed later that there were about 5 other books sitting there, but the receptionist was too lazy to hand me the other samples. Second, I asked before my services began how much it would be for a fill gel and regular pedicure. I was told it's $20 for regular pedicure and $40 for a gel fill if it's short. Well my nails are short, as a matter fact you can't go any shorter and they charged me $45. The lady that started my pedicure looked miserable. She started giving me commands in a different language when I told her I didn't understand she became irritated. Mind you my pedicure took less than 20 minutes. I asked for her to shorten my nails and make them even and as you can see in the picture it's far from it. Plus, whatever happened to a massage with a pedicure!???? There was NO massage. Sloppy Job and attitude by the miserable lady. Now my fill, The lady was very nice and did a good, however there is no shine to the polish. Overly priced and seemingly unhappy employees. I had a truly awful experience at this nail salon and felt compelled to share. From the moment I walked in, the poor customer service was apparent. The receptionist rushed me when I tried to pick a color, making me feel unwelcome and hurried. Things only got worse when I sat down for my pedicure. The nail tech started filing my nails before even soaking my feet, which is just not how it should be done. To add insult to injury, she messed up one of my nails and then had the audacity to blame me for it! When it came time to pay, I was shocked to see a $55 charge. The receptionist seemed confused about what services I'd received and didn't even bother to clarify. Meanwhile, I noticed the nail tech casually sitting at the front eating sunflower seeds with a coworker--definitely not the professional atmosphere I expected. If I had known the regular pedicure was going to cost me $30, I would have been furious to find out about a $15 upcharge for such a subpar service. I left feeling unsatisfied and will likely have to get my nails redone elsewhere. Overall, I cannot recommend this salon. Save your time and money--there are much better options out there! read more

I cannot express how I love this place! I've been looking for a new salon and I finally found my spot. Their service is amazing and all the girls who work there are so sweet. The owner is super helpful and the nail techs are quick and they do what I want. When I go, I feel relaxed, not rushed, and the best part is, I don't have to wait past my appointment time, which is great! I've been to many nail salons before, but they take the cake!!! My nail techs are Uka for my pedis (no pain) and Retina for my hands (I do dip powder or gel mani's). They clean my cuticles the way I want them to be and they never give me smug looks or talk under their nose like other places. I would definitely recommend this place. First of all the place is nice but the staff not is welcoming I asked for a pedicure n fill The woman doing my pedicure had a sour face the whole time and the nail tech was nice but her lack of knowledge of nail install was not comforting to me. As the polish part of the nails I realized she filed them and they were crooked and even pain couldn't help this mess then applying the polish she put the fairy dust by pouring it on instead of bushing it on then she buffs the glitter which was lumpy and not smooth to the touch . It is under new management and they have a FIVE STAR program where you accumulate points and once you reach a certain level you get discount or certain services. For an example they send me a 25% off coupon on super bowl and my Gel mani Pedi ended up costing me $42 instead of $56. I booked a Russian gel manicure/pedicure at Glam Loft Salon via Groupon and paid approximately $150 total, including gratuity. Russian gel services are marketed as premium treatments expected to last significantly longer than standard gel (the Groupon listing advertised 5-6 weeks of wear). My manicure began lifting and chipping in fewer than 72 hours. The deterioration accelerated rapidly from there. By day 9, every fingernail showed substantial lifting. By day 12, all but one nail had fully lifted off entirely during completely normal activity. I have never experienced anything remotely comparable to either standard gel or Russian gel services elsewhere. The issues extended beyond longevity: * Several cuticles remained sore and irritated after the appointment.* The pedicure was not unaffected, despite later claims otherwise -- one toenail experienced lifting/chipping and another appeared to have been cut during service, leaving lingering discoloration and pain near the cuticle.* My appointment ended substantially sooner than the timeframe indicated in the confirmation materials.* The Groupon voucher included a complimentary scrub and mask, neither of which was provided. When I contacted the salon seeking resolution, the explanations shifted repeatedly over time. I was told the manicure may have failed because my nails were "short," because I may have been "moving" or "using my phone," and eventually because my photographs appeared to show "two weeks of growth," despite the documented timeline and timestamps I later provided. At another point, the salon acknowledged a problem and offered to redo the manicure while still declining any refund authorization. I was also uncomfortable with remarks made by the owner about other salons--specifically comments I interpreted as disparaging toward Asian-owned nail salons. Regardless of intent, the comments struck me as unprofessional and added to an experience that already felt dismissive once concerns were raised. Everyone can have an off day, and one imperfect service alone would not have prompted this review. What ultimately disappointed me was the inability to acknowledge legitimate concerns without repeatedly redirecting responsibility back to the client. I'm sharing this for anyone considering premium-priced Russian gel services here: my experience was that the results did not remotely match the advertised longevity or quality, and the follow-up resolution process was frustrating, defensive, and ultimately unsuccessful. The owner (I unfortunately don't remember her name) asked me what the exact color was called, and she called someone and had the exact color delivered just for me! That level of service and hospitality is truly exceptional. You can tell they genuinely care about their clients and want you to leave happy. I'm so glad I found this little gem!
