Oval nail shape, exactly like the photo inspo!

I cannot recommend this salon enough! I've tried plenty of nail salons in Salem and this is the first place I walked out with exactly what I wanted, happy and eager to return. I have been three times, bringing a photo for inspiration each time, and getting exact replication of the design on my own hands. Nhu (I hope that is how to spell it) is gentle and puts genuine genuine effort into giving me what I asked for. I think she does an amazing job, and hope she is as proud of her work as I am to wear it. I do not feel I overpaid, with tip it was a little over $100 for a full set (with the flower design so it was probably a little extra), which again, I happily paid. These visits are the only time I've ever left the salon without sore fingers, without feeling like I got talked out of my design, and in a better mood then when I went in. Check them out!

I really enjoyed the atmosphere and I'm extremely happy with the product! It was $70 for a full set and for the product I'm extremely happy! Definitely my new go to nail salon.

Nhu did a great job! I went in a few months ago, showed her a picture of what I wanted and she nailed it! She also provided excellent service.

Decent quality, but a little pricey for me. I was not expecting to pay 148 for a full set of short acrylics and a pedicure, but then again I should of asked before I made the appointment. Also, If you want to get your cuticles cleaned for your acrylics you'll need to ask for it because they won't otherwise.

Update: I've been coming to this salon exclusively since my first review. I could not be happier with the service, the owners, and other clientele. I always look forward to my visit with Lisa and spending an hour or so at the shop. Don't waste your time anywhere else the work and service here is top notch. Update: After posting my review the owner contacted me and apologized for the quality of my experience and wanted to make it right. I am very happy with their effort to make things right and my nails look so much better and the quality is great. There is a real commitment to their clients and ensuring a quality experience, so thank you to Lisa and the management at Nails Now, I will definitely recommend. I really wanted to like this spot as my first experience was great, but the quality was subpar. Within 24 hours I had already broken one nail and three days later, another! I have been doing acrylics for over two years now and I NEVER break nails. The quality here leaves something to be desired. The nails themselves are also different thickness at different points of the nail and all different shapes/sizes. (See the photo) The polish is full of bubbling and although the lines are clean it looks tacky. Although it's a good price, I will not be returning!

Absolutely beautiful nails. He took so much care and did exactly what I wanted. I have been struggling to find a consistent nail salon in Salem that I love but I finally found it!

A great nail tech is worth her weight in gold and I've found mine here. This is a fun, casual shop and the ladies here are full of laughter and personality. I always leave liking my manicure even more than the last and I get so many compliments on their work! I look forward to my appointments and what they will create for me and I won't go anywhere else.

This place is amazing! I'm very pleased at how well the workers treated my mother-in-law and I. Everything was professionally done with care. Recently got my nails filled and a change of color at Nails Now. I went with a gel and matte light purple/grey-$40 in total (not including tip). The salon is quaint and clean and had Law & Order SVU on the television which was the absolute cherry on my nail experience. The staff were skilled and engaging in conversation which was refreshing. I plan on revisiting this establishment. I recommend making an appointment in advance. read more

This place is a tiny spot but does a great job. The nail techs are very talents and professional as well as friendly. My only reason for not doing 5*'s is because they can seldom do last minute nails or walk ins. If you have time to schedule this is a great place to go. read more

This place is so nice! I came in on a Thursday afternoon, and I called ahead and I was able to get a same day appointment! I arrived about 10 minutes early and got seated immediately. An older man did my nails, and he took his time and they came out beautiful!! It took about an hour for a full set of acrylics and only 46 dollars! Super chill vibe and didn't force small talk, which has an introvert I love :) thank you so much again! I'll definitely be back read more

I don't even understand how this place has good reviews, when we walked in we were ignored for a few minutes so they could watch the TV, it took a while for me to even get a seat because my nail tech was "running late". So the woman who started my nails didn't clean my nails properly, didn't do cuticles and while laying the acrylic made it so lumpy and lopsided. The nails are not the same size, there's file shavings still hanging off the sides, and my nails aren't even painted fully. They kept stopping mid-session to watch the TV, the nail tech kept cursing and even joked that "we have to deal with what they do because they're the one doing our nails" even though we are the ones who pay for it. I went to the salon with someone else and the girl with the short hair was very rude and she didnt do my nails right they were all lumpy and lifted and they were also cricket but the person who came with me said that the one who was doing her nails were very nice and loved her nails they even put cuticle oil on her and she said that the nice one was the one with the long hair and ponytail read more

Just passing thru Salem in a road trip and this place was near our RV Park, so gave it a try. Small salon with three manicurists. Seems like they do regular, gel, acrylic and Solar(?) mani's/pedi's. I only had time for gel mani. Lisa did a great job on my nails! I'm pretty fussy and prefer red polish, so it's gotta look good...and it did! Would have given 5 stars except that Lisa took probably 8 or 9 calls (mostly appts, and all short) during my one hour there, which probably added 15 min to my time. I understand business calls, but with that many interruptions I think they should have a receptionist. Great job, reasonable prices, prompt...in all quite happy. read more

People were nice, however ability is severely lacking..I went in for a mani/pedi chose a color I always get at other places. For whatever reason she could not get the color to go on even, it was blotchy and uneven on every toe and it was the polishes fault. I picked a different color and because she did not buff my nails they were not smooth and the polish was uneven again. I finally told her to buff them nicely. I then got a mani with gel polish, what a mess. It's all over my finger tips and on my skin again my fault because I asked for an extra coat. I heard the poor girl next to me ask several times for them to make her nails even, I didn't ask, when she stepped away I just filed mine myself. I came here because they were open on a Sunday. I'll just wait til Monday next time and go somewhere else. read more

It's been a little while since I've been here. It's going on 4 to 5 years. I'm happy I came back. I just needed a fill and a change of color. I made a appointment for me and my mom, 5:45 and was told mine would be at 7pm. Which was fine. I was able to get my nails filled sooner than I thought. My mom and I were actually done at 7pm. Real quick service and excellent attention to detail. For the first time in a long time, I left a nail salon with exactly what I wanted. Great funny conversations and excellent customer service. I sent Lisa and she responded within 10 minutes and had an appointment available on the day I wanted. I had a gentleman do my nails, I didn't catch his name. I showed him a picture of what I wanted and he helped me to choose the right colors and ultimately recommended something different that I liked way better than the picture. He did a great job and it only took about an hour! This place is great, they do great work. read more

I adore the girls that work here, and they do the most AMAZING job. All other nail spots I've gone to make my shellac nails too thick, or don't shape them right. Never, ever has that happened here. Nails come out the perfect shape, thickness and color. On top of that, the girls here are so sweet and funny. If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would. read more

This is the BEST nail salon in Salem. I tried a few different nail places and was disappointed each time but this place has always left my nails looking so good. Their work is consistently good and everyone is so friendly and funny. They have many gel colors and the salon itself is very clean. I didn't get the name of the lady who did my nails today but she did a great job! Very thorough and meticulous! The shop atmosphere was very friendly, the customers in there seemed to be long time ones which made me feel comfortable being there. The manicurists in this shop were funny, welcoming, and amazing. I was looking at the other customers nails as they got done and I was impressed! There were so many gel colors to choose from as well! I will definitely be returning when I need a fill! read more

I love the place I just hate how a one nail tech in particular runs her mouth about clients and makes the visits uncomfortable. The nail tech is loud and is rude and runs her mouth the whole visit making you feel bad for the person sitting in the chair.i must say the nail tech that I have there rocks is the only reason for my return business. read more

Got a pedicure here very nice, the chair massagers weren't great. The nail techs were ok, not rude,but didnt go out of there way with customer service either. For example didnt know they were done until they started working on someone else. Did have lots of colors and helped me find the shade I wanted. Was happy with my look, I will try it again. read more

I was referred to this salon by a friend. All I can say is Twee is stellar! I absolutely love love love her. my nails always look amazing and I get 4-5 weeks out of them between fills. They do their best to fit you in if you haven't made an appointment or request a last minute appointment. They do an awesome job with all of the services that I've ever purchased (Dip, manicure, gel manicure, gel pedicure, eyebrow wax), so I'm baffled by some of the reviews posted. Their location is beautiful on the inside right off Portland road by Roth's. They recently bought new furniture like desks & polish racks. Their massage chairs are great for pedicures after a long day. Once I bumped one of my manicured nails & they insisted I stay to have it fixed. They made sure I left happy. I recommend calling to schedule an appointment, but when they can they fit in walk ins.

I've been going to this salon for 2 years. All the manicurists are so busy. I hate to say they are the best because they don't need the extra business in fact they are so good they should be picking their clientele. People that complain about the different personalities that either walk through the door or the personality of the talented manicurist doing your nails or the manicurist doing nails of another client should stay home. Quit complaining. As a client, I am a guest in a friend's home. I am quickly in and out with a standing appointment. I appreciate all the personalities and sometimes loud quirky conversations. Went to the salon on Yelp recommendations, and I'm not disappointed. I have a pretty high standard how I like my nails done and how often the Dremel tool is used. As a nail-biter when I get a full set is usually fairly difficult for technicians to put my nails on straight and understand that I want them short. also is a nail-biter I tend to be a picker if the edges aren't clean and smooth . Clean edges smooth Nails then acrylic and no Dremel marks on my nail bed . They did a really good job and I will be going back for my fill. I used to keep my nails done regularly as I was the first impression of visitors at my work as office manager. My latter job required overtime and excessive typing so I let them go for 5 yrs- government job... Recently I read reviews and pulled the trigger! So happy! The only place I will get my nails done. They are the sweetest people ever, Lisa does my nails but, I have seen work from all of them and they are all amazing. I have had almond, stiletto, and coffin shape and all have been done well. My nails are quite long and I rarely have any breaks (if I do it's my fault). I'm not a very talkative person but they made me feel comfortable and I had fun treating myself and getting away from my boys at home who literally chased me out of the house asking what are you doing mom where are you going! I love getting my nails done here. Everyone is very friendly and they go out of their way to make sure you feel comfortable. My nail tech does exactly what I request, and sometimes my request are a tad complicated and can be a bit much, but she knocks it out of the park every time! They got us in a little after our scheduled time, which it's a nail place the times are usually an estimate. They were friendly and did a quick but good job at getting my friend and I out in a timely manner. They were recommended to me by a friend from high school who's been using them for years.
