Decided to try this place because my co worker Sydney Null said Steven is great and they only charges $40. Well Steven wasn't available so i asked for someone just as great. I had to wait for my 3pm appointment even though i made a appointment in advance. Didn't get started until 3:30pm the girl that did my nails was 'Elaine' i told her how i wanted my nails, told her it was my first time there. She never not once told me the price for my nails. Which any nail salon I've been to they always quote you before. She tried to talk me out of doing the type of nails i wanted, and when i told her what shape and length she slipped into an attitude. I felt uncomfortable the entire 2 1/2 hours i was there!!!! 2 1/2 hours !! I didn't even leave until 5!!! For a full set ?!?!??? She cut me with the drill, when i told her she was hurting me she didn't stop she kept going. I never complain about anything because I'm also in the service business but this was the worst service I've ever had!!! She filed my nails so hard my fingers are still sore. I got my nails done Saturday 12/22... when she was finally done i went to pay (she seemed very annoyed with how long my nails took as i was annoyed too) she spoke in another language to the cashier while looking at my nails (I'm sure saying how much she should charge) then tells me it's going to cost me $70!!! $70 for acrylic nails?!?! I didn't get gel added i didn't get designs! Just red glitter acrylic! I said wow that's crazy and they told me "we charge by the shape and length " now if that really is the case me being a NEW CLIENT as i stated in the beginning why wouldn't you tell me that?!? I would've went somewhere else! I've gotten my nails done in uptown with gel added to my acrylics and never paid $70!!! I feel like she took out her frustrations on me and over charged me because she was struggling with my nails. I received a mediocre nail tech. She didn't even stay consistent with my shape!!!! I paid the price and even tipped well despite the service because Christmas is around the corner! But today my nail broke!!! It's only been ONE DAY, since my appointment and my nail already broke! First and foremost, I would like to say this is absolutely the worst service (including restaurants) I have ever received in my life. upon entering the spa,there was no hospitality showed.my fiance had picked out a pedicure or so I thought for both of us after i came back from the restroom(it was really the manager that picked the most expensive treatment). I had asked for a book or information on the nails the offered to at least 3 of the staff and instead of giving me the pricing or pictures,they just explained which made it frustrating so I told the tech what i wanted. the tech that did my manicure was extremely rude,and aggressive and the one that did my feet kept glaring at me and gossiping with the other. the entire staff was on their phones for our entire visit and kept gossiping to each other, making the atmosphere very hostile and uncomfortable. the service offered for the price we paid was very deplorable. my fiance also never received the hot stone which he paid for or his so called "lux treatment for his hands". he got clear polish and his nails weren't even cut down or filed decently. the worst part about this entire thing was checking out. we were paying on our way out as I was taking cash out of my purse to tip both my fiance and I nail techs,the manager had the nerve to demand me tip my "nail techs" too,before I could even reach into my wallet. what the heck? what kind of ridiculous, demanding and repulsive attitude is that. on top of 175 for absolutely horrible service, you should be glad I actually paid or even tipped. I will never ever return to this spa and I do not recommend this place to anyone unless you're "hwyte". the service the other guests received and welcome was way different. as paying customers,I am extremely appalled. if you're of color,please support black owned businesses. read more

She has been my nail technician for the past 5 years, but her former salon was destroyed by the tornado. I am THRILLED to have found her again! This salon is lovely - spacious and clean. I came here on a Sunday because my regular salon was too busy. I called ahead to get the price of a regular fill and was told it would be $20. When I got to the salon and sat in the chair, the lady working on my nails was incredibly rude! She never offered me anything to drink even though she asked the lady sitting next to me and she cut my cuticles to where it started bleeding. I finally was done and handed the lady my card to pay and noticed that she charged $25 to my card and there was no place for me to leave a tip on the receipt. I got a pedicure done by Tavi and it was blissful. She is very careful and detailed, and gave me a great massage to boot! The facility is large and clean, and they have a margarita machine upfront. Prior to discovering this location, I thought I had to suffer with butchered, bleeding cuticles in order to have 'pretty' hands and feet. The staff at this place, however, knows what they're doing. They work gently and to your specifications. They don't try to hard-sell you into anything you don't want (no extra spa services, etc.). I recently started going here because the first two times the girls did such a great job, friendly and did the shape of my nails exactly how I wanted them. Cindy is amazing! I went a couple weeks ago for my birthday and Gwen did my nails this time. She was rude but she did a perfect job on my nails and I loved them. This last time I had Gwen again... and AGAIN she was rude. I was there for nearly 2 hours for a Simple dip. It's hard for me to speak up, but when I was trying to explain they weren't turning out how I wanted she kept telling me to let her finish. After at least FIVE times of trying to get what I wanted I gave up. I also got cut twice and was bleeding. The manager asked me if I liked them... I should have said no but I hate being that person. First they gave me a bowl of acetone to soak my NexGen nails off (which everyone knows takes forever) while everyone else had their nails wrapped in foil to soak off (which is the faster way). I LOVED Nails Now and was going there repeatedly for nail services. The last time I was there the girl was in a rush and instead of soaking my gel nails off, she was picking them off with nippers. Anyone who's had gel nails knows this ruins the nail bed. My friend and I went to Dallas to visit for the weekend and needed to find a nail shop. We came across this one while searching online and decided to go here. My friend needed 3 of her nails fixed that had broken and I needed to get a pedicure. The employee that began on my friends nails was very rude and not skilled enough to produce proper coffin nails. Her nails were super thick and crooked. When she explained it to the employee she was very rude and made rude gestures towards her. During my pedicure, the employee who was working on my feet cut me cuticle very bad and didn't say a thing. She proceeded to grab liquid styptic and pour it on my skin, still not mentioning the cut and did not apologize for it. My toe still burns a day later and appears to be damaged above my cuticle area. I love this place! I go every 2-3 weeks to get fills on my nails and they look great every time! The people complaining about the rough filing and cut cuticles should not have acrylics done if they can't handle it. -- Especially people with thin nails. In order to get the product to stick to your nails they need to be filed so they aren't smooth. And, of course there are going to be fumes. Have you never been to a nail salon before?? I give this place 1 star because they really made me angry today. I've been going to this place for 8 months and never really had any issues. I get the Nexgen powder. I came here last week to get them done and literally the next day one of my nails came off. I didn't have time to get it fixed until today. After the lady fixed it, under her breath, says, "four dollars." First off, what? I've NEVER been charged anywhere to get my nail fixed. I explained to her that they haven't ever charged me in the past. She replied, "You never ask." Second, I have NEVER even seen this lady before so why is she acting like we have some sort of history? I proceeded to ask her why it was four dollars when a full set is only $35. She basically just held out her hand for my payment. I have been seeing Dana for over a year. If I make an appointment I never have to wait. The color wall stays updated with traditional OPI and gel colors. Dana is one of the few technicians that I have found who can repair natural nails without harsh acrylics. The detail payed to my nails on each trip keeps me coming back. They greet me by name and offer beverages and pillows to keep their guest comfortable. Highly recommended. read more

I have been going to this nail shop since 2014 and getting a pedicure by Dana, however Lin has done my pedicure a few times over the past four years. Fast forward to today....I made an appointment and I was informed Dana was not working today, so I made an appointment with Lin. I arrived at my appointment as usual, but I was not greeted upon entrance. I didn't think anything of it. After a few minutes, I was asked by the receptionist if someone else could do my pedicure. I indicated I had an appointment with Lin. The receptionist went on to tell me that Lin was refusing to perform my pedicure, because I was Dana's client and her and Dana don't get along, so she couldn't perform my services. I explained that I was a paying customer and I didn't understand why Lin was refusing me. The receptionist then said "I belong to Dana" and Lin was refusing my service. Eventually, Lin attempted to explain herself, but the language barrier is a real issue for her. I have never been so humiliated in my life. I have never done anything wrong. I will never go back to this shop again. I am really sad, because I enjoyed the beautiful decor and amazing service from Dana and Lin. read more

I was checking out and told the receptionist my nails don't look good and I'm not happy with it. She was really rude to me instead of trying to fix how they messed up my nails. She refused to give me even my receipt n said she can charge however much she wants. She raised her voice n told me to leave. I don't know where these people come from but in U.S. No one treats customers like that. Looks like that place doesn't have a manager either or I'm sure she was lying about it.
