I wanted to do something simple bc I paid $50 for a fill in at another shop that didn't work out. Saw the website said that their fill-in's start at $33...cool. I asked for a basic fill in and was even willing to forego colored acrylic that I already have on my nail bc I wanted to see their work first. Well he switched it up and said fill-ins start at $45 for gel. I don't have gel on my nails for starters. The icing on the cake was the upcharge for my nails being "grown out too much" and lifting. I've never heard of an upcharge for lifting. They want any excuse to charge extra. The pic attached is a pic of my nails when I went in. There was no reason for two up charges. Just say the minimum you want is $50 so I don't waste my time. I ended up leaving.

The man tried to sell me on the "Good" acrylic instead of the "standard" or "no good" acrylic as he called it. Whatever it was $2 more so I got it. Nails looked nice but only lasted about 2 and a half days. The day after thanksgiving the index finger broke. I went in and he re-did it for free with an attitude. The next day at work my middle finger nail broke on the opposite hand. And I work in retail. No heavy lifting no reason for my nails to be breaking left and right. Got home later that night and all the nails except 2 broke off like I had on a cheap set of drug store press-ons. I was outraged. I didn't even go back for him to fix them I just gave up. I made a yelp specifically to share my experience with this nail salon. Do not waste your time or money there, you will regret it.

Even though there were many salons closer to my new home, I went to see Steven based on this recommendation. I was not disappointed! He was so nice, friendly, and on time for my appointment. The salon was spacious and clean. My husband had a pedi with Vin and said he was great, too. There was another technician there, Pim, who seemed so kind - always smiling at incoming customers. I understand she does a great job with builder gel and will try her, too, in case Steven isn't available. They offer SNS, gel and regular polishes. I went with a spa pedi ($40) and a regular gel mani ($35). The pedicure chairs were comfortable and the woman took her time throughout the entire process. Nothing was rushed at all! I was also able to stay in the pedi chair while she started my nails. Everything was also very clean - the pedi bowl had the plastic wrap, and it seemed like everything was one time use. Overall, I'd give my mani a 5/5 and my pedi a 3.5/5. There were some spots on my toes that I had to go back and remove polish from the skin. I'd come back - I want to try their SNS nails. The lady next to me was getting that done and it looked great!
