This place is ok. Been here several times. Usually easy to get in and cleanish- they are limited in gel color choices not as many as other salons. I feel you either get really rushed service or take all day a service so not consistent. It seems like every time I go someone in there leaves not very happy which isn't a good sign as I don't see the staff trying to change instead it's an oh well attitude. With that said I'll continue to go but I'm only getting basic gel mani and pedis. Wouldn't think of having them do a fill for me or having my eye brows waxed in the chair in the middle of the room. read more

I decided to give this place a try today and there was no wait when I showed up and got taken care of right away. I asked for gel nails and left unhappy which is rare for me because I don't like to complain. I left with cuts on 3 different fingers (i'll spare everyone the pictures), with one nail still bleeding as I walked out the door. I have gone twice and will never go back. I walked in on a Saturday. They were very busy so they asked me to come back. So I did. I had my 7 year old son with me and he was use to nail salons so he knows the drill. But one of the ladies that worked there made it clear he wasnt welcomed. The nail job was nice but they have no attention to detail. The nail lady i use to go to was very detailed and i got use to it i guess. I would still be going there if i didnt move to the area recently. I paid and tipped 10 bucks hoping if i tipped well, they would remember and do a better job next time. I go back a week and a half (no son this time) later cuz i broke a nail. And it was even worse. She didnt clip off the excess parts that kinda come loose near the cuticle. And that resulted in fungus. I have never had it before so the only place i could have gotten was here. They put on a full set my first visit. Like a fool i tipped 10 Again. And realized when i got home that i have a big glob of uneven polish on my right ring and middle finger. It looks horrible. They make you feel like you are a bother and not welcomed. So if you are in the Felton area, i recommend Cathy Nails. She is amazing! Tell her Summer sent you. read more

I get my nails done here often and they turn out really nice.. but if you end up with anyone other than Emily or the owner, you will be unhappy with the final product. So it is best to make your appointment and request who you would like.. Emily is my favorite, she is sweet. read more

I had a very creepy experience here, is the best way to describe it. When I walked in the owner was doing someone's nails. Not another soul there. I waited about 5 min. and another employee came in. I said I wanted a spa pedi, but no one mentioned that they have a deluxe, which I would have paid for if asked. Good thing, actually. The person who did my pedi did a mostly competent job, but in maneuvering my toes she kept digging into my flesh with her own long nails and it was very uncomfortable. Not only did she never once smile, she pushed, prodded, motioned and grunted at me, but not in the usual way of nail salons, which I'm very used to, but in a bored, impatient I-wish-you-were-gone way. While my nails were drying and I was having a chin wax, pedi-woman proceeded to yawn massively, do a great imitation of Grumpy Cat, and took a nap in the middle of the salon. Yes there was a customer besides me. The girl who did the waxing did a good job and she was sweet. When it was time to pay, I was given four $5 bills as change for a $20 to tip with. You should have seen her reaction when I asked for five ones. She got more than she deserved, but the waxing girl got a higher tip in proportion because she did deserve it. They may do an okay job on nails (it sure wasn't anything special), but I will not consider going back there because clearly, customers aren't worth s**t to them. Since all of this happened when they were NOT busy, hate to inagine what you'd get treated like on a busy day. read more

I rate this place less than 1 star. I made an appointment for a full set acrylic, on a Tuesday. When you walk into Nail's Art, the people who work there will all look up at you from whatever they're doing and basically wait for you to announce why you are there. It's very odd because they make you question if you even came to the right building. Anyways the woman told me to take a seat. I did so. She then started placing the acrylic tips on my nails without doing anything to them. Which if you're used to a professional doing your nails you know that there are some steps to do before this to ensure that your acrylic lasts as long as possible. They should file, buff, and push down your cuticles. Anyways then she told me to pick the color I wanted and I did. While I was looking over the colors, another woman came to watch me pick and look over the shoulder of the woman who was doing my nails. I don't know if it was just her natural face or what but she looked very rude or like she just ate something sour the whole time. She said okay you need to pick. I was so annoyed but kept being friendly. The woman doing my nails finished way way way to quickly. I thought maybe this woman is just really quick. But hell no. I left and no joke a day later a nail comes off in the morning when I didn't do anything but put away some laundry. Later on the same day I was sweeping at work and one popped off. I'm freaking livid because when I lived in Japan I would get acrylic nails and they could no joke last up to two months at the most. I hate to be rude and in no way am I a racist but these Korean women know English but they love to gossip with each other in their native language while they're doing your nails which is beyond rude and unprofessional. Not to mention, their business isn't a very neat one I mean it's outdated to say the least and it just doesn't feel very clean at all. read more

I was recommended by a friend to go here but very disappointed in the end. When I first walked in, they were rude. When doing my nails the lady I had cut me and was very harsh on my nails. In the end my nails are messy and have hair in them. Would never go back, one of the worst experiences. read more

I have been to this salon a few times, and will never return. The first time I got a mani/pedi, they did a decent job and charged me $30. The next time I decided to get the gel polish, and as she was painting my nails, I questioned her about the color, because I had picked a pink and she was painting them red. She assured me the top color would make it pink (which it didn't). When I complained she offered to redo them, but because I didn't have time that day, I made an appointment to return the following Saturday. She then charged me for the service, and told me she would redo them for free. The next Saturday I returned, and the lady that was supposed to redo my nails acted like she didn't know who I was and I was told I would have to wait 10 minutes (so much for my appointment). I waited 15 minutes, realized that she was still putting acrylic powder on the customer she was helping, and there was no way she would be helping me within a reasonable amount of time for my scheduled appointment. I left, frustrated, and still with a gel polish that I did not care for. I returned today for a regular mani/pedi (no more gel for me!) with mixed feelings about the customer service I would receive. I was helped by two different women, the one that did my pedicure did do a good job, which is the reason for the two stars on my review. The woman that did my manicure did a good job as well, but when she charged me, it was $48! She processed my credit card before I even had a chance to question it, and when I did she argued with me. Ultimately I had the two women who helped me today and the owner, arguing with me about the pricing, and each of them telling me something different. When it comes down to it, not only was I charged $18 more than I had expected based on the same service on my first visit, but I was still due for a free manicure because I wasn't able to get my nails redone as was promised when the woman who did them last time messed up. Bottom line is, I was overcharged, not offered a refund, and not even given a logical explanation for the inconsistent pricing. I will not be returning, and would not recommend this salon to anyone. read more
