I just called Anna's nail salon, it rang 15 times before someone picked up. And when they did they said hola and then rattled off something in Spanish. I said is Anna there she said no and hung up! I called back it rang 10 times she picked it up and said hola and then immediately started rattling something off in Spanish again. And I said please speak slower I don't speak Spanish. As a man, I'm not very good at taking care of my feet. After a horrible experience with another pedicurist (I bled and everything!), I pretty much gave up on my cracked heels and splitting toes, figuring I would perform this ghastly task (meaning my wife) myself. After not being able to walk a few times (and my wonderful wife tired of hearing me whine), it was decided that Anna would be my last ditch effort to save my marriage. What an eye opener! Anna is professional, thorough, sweet and funny! She got my disgusting, ugly, painful, jacked up feet in great shape in no time. She's worth the money. The wait. The slight difficulty in understanding some of the things she says. This is the place for my whiny old ass until death do us part. I made an appointment for my mother and I the day before we were leaving to Chicago and NYC since I've read so many good reviews about Anna, to be honest I was a little disappointed. 1 star, for how clean she keeps the place. 2 stars, for no waiting time and for not having too many people there. It felt more personal. 3 starts, for okay quality of her work. (I've had worse, I've had better) You'd think for the amount of time she spends with you individually the work she provided would be close to perfect. But as she did tell me "no one is perfect. She leaves polish on the skin... And I noticed she does that to other people (based on pictures). I don't like that she tries to put glitter on everything. I'm a very simple girl. Anna has been my go to lady for Pedi for a few years now. She understands my feet which is a very big deal when you have skin as thin and tender as mine. Kinda of gross but she is also the only one who can fix an ingrown toenail each and every visit. After having the doctor cut one out, twice, Anna convinced me to stay away from Dr and let her take care of me. Anna opened her own store after leaving luxury spa, she's a one woman show but it typically doesn't matter because she can usually find me a spot when I need it. She does do nails but only straight gels or regular Manicure. She won't do acrylic nails any longer because of smell. Not healthy. She works very very hard and her place is spotless. She let me down last week and now she's lost one of her stars and maybe a customer, I'll have to see how it goes when I get home. When I was scheduled for vacation I made appt for 2 days before. Anna called and said couldn't make that time and could I come next day at 10:30. I was at my scheduled appt when she called, I showed up next day and she has 2 clients 1 waiting already, says she needs to re-schedule told me wrong. I told her I was going on vacation and couldn't wait. She just responds with OK, never apologized, never called to apologize, very bad service. When I'm going on vacation and already stressed I'm the only one who counts and after this many years with her felt like just another 40.00 without a face. Boo Hoo....... read more

I found her by chance on yelp after being attracted by her ratings and boy do I consider myself lucky?!! She doesn't use the drill and tools to remove gel nail color and just soaks them longer so they easily come off without even a scratch on the nail which is very important to me personally. She is by appointment only so call 1-3 days ahead and a week ahead if you want after 04:30pm appointment since she is pretty booked. She works alone and gives personalized attention to each customer. She helped me to pick out a color while she started on my feet. The pedicure was wonderful until another client came in. I was disappointed when the rest of my pedicure was rushed and paint job was mediocre. Then I moved on to a different lady for a gel manicure she butchered the shaping and painted my nails to my skin. I had to ask for a third coat because you could see through the two she was going to finish with.
