I noticed a lot of dust on the baseboards and even the polish bottles. The price sheet hasn't been reprinted, instead scribbled new prices over the old ones, which are difficult to read. (This is a review based on my 2nd experience here.). Henry did my Pedicure this time. He must be new to this because I was not happy with the outcome. My appointment seemed rushed. The order of services did not follow how it was listed on their menu - polish was applied BEFORE the paraffin wax, massage etc. It confused me thinking that he forgot about the other services listed in the package I chose and I thought my appointment was done. My toenails were not shaped straight nor equal to each other. Cuticle care was very minimal and not efficient. And let me tell you about the polish application, it looks horrible! Polish was not evenly applied where I found that it was over the cuticle, not near the cuticle, & not even close to the nail walls. Like really?! The other services in the package were okay, 1 star. And I'd like to add, before my service was about to begin, he was finishing up a pedicure next to me and had her wait while her polish was drying (unknown wait time). Well, she had asked if it was okay to leave now, so he looked over and said yea, you're ready to go. The amount of frustration and disappoinment I feel is real right now. I had my nails done on Friday the 29th... It is now Monday the 1st. I would like to make it clear that Kelly did not do my nails. Another young woman did... Kim May? I could be wrong... She wears glasses and seems to have limited skills. I had to tell her multiple times that individual nails weren't shaped the same...there was still remaining gel from my PREVIOUS manicure... She said "wow you have good eyes"..."if everything is perfect that means there's no room for improvement"... WHAT?!?! if I'm paying over $30 for a manicure I want it to last. Well... That wasn't the case. They attempted to fix a broken nail on my right hand which seemed to work.. even though I said to just cut it if it would break and ruin the new manicure. Well, it broke on SATURDAY... One day after the manicure. (Not pictured) As I was paying.. I realized there were sharp edges on two nails. She filed them where you pay.. then didn't reseal it under the UV light. The one nail that is chipped in the photo was one of the nails that was filed. I called and made an appointment for 2 gel manicures and was there early. They made me wait more than 15 mins before I was helped, which I didn't mind too much. Then the owner, Kelly tells me to soak my hands in a bowl of water. (Which they don't even wash btw, I saw her rinse it once she took it from me and put it away in her sink drawer). She left me for 15 more mins soaking my hands and the water got cold, and my hands were at the point of prune like. She was helping another person as she was helping me, answering the phone and charging everyone leaving the salon. I got up, and sat with my friend who was getting a manicure with someone else. I waited 10 more mins before she told me to go soak my hands AGAIN. I soaked my hands, and the water was cold, she continued to take walk ins, charge and answer the phone. Once she finally started on my nails, a walk-in came in. She knew the person's name and immediately sat her down and had the person who was doing my friends manicure finish abruptly and help the obviously regular customer. My friend didn't even get the massage that a manicure is supposed to come with, or any cuticle oil. She sat back down and started working on my nails, when ANOTHER REGULAR walked in and immediately sat them down too. As I was curing my nails, she got up, and started doing the other ladies nails!!!!! That's when I drew the line, and got up. I told her that I could see she was too busy to help me from the moment I walked in. She literally tried to pull me back to the chair, and said she wasn't busy and that she'd be done in 5 minutes. Meanwhile while I was trying to explain to her what was wrong, she got a phone call and decided to answer it instead of listening to me!! Long story, short, she still charged me for a manicure even though technically she spent less than 5 minutes with me and had me soaking my hands for about 30 mins. If you want to be ignored, and treated as if you don't matter. This is the place for you!! Kelly, if you want other customers NEW customers don't treat them the way you treated me. When I go to a salon, i expect to be paid attention to. Specially when I will be paying for the service. I will not be coming back, and will definitely spread the word. I just moved out to Prunedale recently and was looking for a new nail salon. I tried this place out a few weeks ago to get a pedicure before my baby shower. Everything was just kind of mediocre. It's clean and decent but I felt over priced and the experience wasn't very relaxing. The pedicure chairs are awful. They don't work properly and even when you try to turn them off, the massagers stay jutting out into your back. The pedi was very basic. Usually when I get a regular pedi, I can expect the polish to last relatively well for at least a week. This didn't last two days. Today I desperately wanted a manicure and pedicure. I'm 9 months pregnant and it's my 30th birthday tomorrow, so I was in real need of some pampering. And being this pregnant with twins there is no way I can paint my own toenails right now! I wanted to try out a different salon, but the one I called didn't answer, so I decided to try this place out again. Huge mistake. All the problems from the first time and then some. Left polish so globbed on my toenails it was horribly smudged hours after I left, and I'm super careful. Not nicely painted at all. And my manicure was horribly rushed. I have never received a manicure that didn't come with some sort of hand massage or at least some lotion put on. I left with my hands bone dry. Not relaxed and more uncomfortable than when I arrived. All I wanted for my birthday was a little relaxation and pampering for my very pregnant self. So so disappointed. Such a waste of money. I will definitely not be coming back. Ever. read more

Before leaving the salon there was a clump of gel that Kelly didn't catch and she had to file it down AFTER I put my hands under the UV light. So she's doing my nails and once she's done, my nails looked so sloppy with uneven polish I wasn't happy at all and I let Kelly know.
