She gave me some lame reason for why she hurt me. Not an apology I decided to get my nails painted to match my toes. I was happy with the way my nails and toe nails. Not even 24 hours the nail polish on my fingers chipped off on every single one of my fingers!!!! Yesterday was my first visit to Paradise Nails. I took mom in to get her first pedi ever done. We loved our experience. The owner, My, was so sweet and funny. He's such a character and really makes you feel welcomed. We waited some time for our pedis but did not mind one bit. They kept coming by to check on us and made sure we knew they hadn't forgotten about us which I totally appreciated. Mom was in heaven enjoying the massage chair. We enjoyed our pedis. She filed down all the lifting around my cuticles and offered suggestions on going with a gel color rather than an pink and white ombré. My coffin tips were filed thinner (how I prefer them) and replaced 3 bad nails. They choose quality over quantity and even let me set my jewels to ensure correct placement of my own liking. I moved to the peninsula about a year and a half ago and, since I've been here, I've tried several nail salons. This is by far the best one I've been able to find. The prices are very reasonable, the staff is friendly, and they've always done a good job. They accept credit/debit cards but are very appreciative if you bring cash instead. I actually was super pleased with my full set once I left but not even an hr later while I was making dinner (mixing meatloaf with my hands) the middle nail completely popped off I just calle d they didn't answer. I'm waiting for them to open so th y can fix it Updating because I ended up going back 3 times in four days to fix three total nails that broke off. My mani was done in a neutral, skin tone complimenting shade that is acceptable to wear in uniform and am very satisfied. My pedi was great too. I love the flower design! My feet are super ticklish and I couldn't stand having my feet exfoliated with the sponge. The last (and only) time I got a pedicure the person doing it (different place) insisted on trying to complete this step and got frustrated when I asked him to skip it. Today I came to seaside and decided to get my nails done to get it out of the way and booked an appointment here at paradise... I was going for a lavender matte color on longggggg coffin nails.... here are my issues 1) it isn't long at all 2) is isn't even coffin 3) it is so uneven that the matte made it worse 4) I had to come back after paying because In the sun it looked 10x more uneven so I decided to just go with regular top coat and it still looks uneven, short, and not coffin. Everyone was so nice and it saddens me that my review has to be so negative but I've never regretted spending $40 in my life this bad. Ugh read more

Not near the best pedi I've had in this area but on par with Magic Nails at Del Monte Center; main difference is the pedi here is only $20! Don't bother getting your eyebrows done here unless your eyebrows are perfect. Mine were crooked and I think the lady here may have made them worse instead of fixing them. I only came here based on my super picky's friend recommendation (and company). It's in a creepy, ghetto strip mall on Fremont and I would normally never stop here. That's where the one star is lost. Inside is probably one of the (if not the) cleanest, most well-run nail salons in town. Not sure why they haven't updated their raunchy sign on the outside of the building. The new owner is fantastic and pays attention to detail, smiling and interacting with customers. Their pedicure I received was excellent and the cheapest I've had ($20 before tip!) My only complaint? I was there at least a full hour, if not a little bit more. The reason was that they were extremely thorough and very focused on letting us "relax and enjoy" ourselves. If you are in a hurry, I would recommend telling them. I had intended to get a gel-mani, but was starving from the long pedi so we'll have to come back another time. If you want it to last longer, pay more and get the gel polish! I just got a french tip pedicure and it turned out really nice. The staff is friendly and polite. I'm not sure if they sensed I was in a rush because they only cut and filed and did not clean my cuticles, but for $18 it was well worth it. They did exactly what I wanted for my 4th of July nails. It was empty when I got there so no wait at all, which I'm glad. Vicky did my full set and was tentative. She was kind and helpful being I am really picky. Cons: after I said no gel, she continually kept asking me to do gel. I personally do not like gel, I like changing my color before my next fill. Also, there is acrylic residue all around my nails. I got cut a couple of times and I left with my finger tips burning (I'll have to google why?
