Tee did the base of my manicure and pedicure and Tina did my design - I will say since it is a pride design, it has many colors and I feel like a lot of people in the salon were like omg so many colors - not in a bad way but just in general. But I think the service was great and pricing reasonable for what I got. Tee had to deal with my not great feet that are prone to ingrowns and thus have a lot of dead skin like underneath the corners - I kept apologizing and she was very kind. Lots of creams and a steamer for the pedi I got which was nice. I will say, I don't think I saw them open their tools for the pedicure from a sealed like bag, they just came from the back on a tray - though it's possible that they were just opened away from me. Tina was very kind and did my designs which were fairly...detailed I would say. When I had a want of more paint or more jewels, she did it without complaint - I am very quiet when I am in a nail salon personally - or at least I was in a quiet mode so I did feel bad for being silent but not much judgement from what I can tell. So many people are popping in and out and I would say I don't know how they manage all the clients they have with maybe like 6 people? But they do. My mani pedi took 1.5 hours for reference. I will update this as far as wear later on. I would say it was good quality service for the price and for a general nail salon - you may disagree if you are used to going to nail art specific people perhaps but that's my view. As far as vibes - super busy like I said - people come and talk to each other while they get services - not what I like to do personally but there's lots of that. Employees talk to themselves in their language but surprisingly quietly, I had no idea how they all heard each other. There are two big TVs they have generic shows and ads running on and general spa music. They also have a either ancestor altar, and or ancestor plate - I think that is what it is called though I am not certain - in the front. I thought it was a nice touch personally.

My nails feel super thin and natural and the entire process was only around an hour (or less than) so it was super fast! The lady who helped me was so nice and funny and I've genuinely never had such an enjoyable experience. Please come here - they're so good!!!!!

She took her time and she delivered exactly what I wanted true Nail goers know how important biweekly upkeep is and I feel confident that I can continue to return to her and receive the best service I think I just found my new nail salon. Can't believe I've lived here my whole life and never tried them. They are by appointment only so make sure you book there are only two women in the nail salon. Debbie is younger. Mimi is older. I have only tried Debbie so far. I've tried several nail salons from top nail in Sand city to signature Nails in Sand city as well as Angel, Nails and Jack Nails and while Jack Nails does do Nails very well for some reason fancy Nails just feels right the spirit of the nail salon really matters.

I was just about to leave when they finally were ready to help me. it was disappointing to agree to help them out by changing my appointment time and then be left sitting there, wasting my time. I had booked online with a tech who had great reviews but was given someone else. I decided to stay anyway. I paid extra for Dazzle Dry, which is peeling after 2 days. My previous Dazzle Dry manicure, done while on vacation, lasted 10 days without chipping because it was properly applied. I feel bad because the staff seems really sweet but based on reviews and my experience, results can be inconsistent.

I may have misunderstood what was possible, so the design wasn't quite what I had pictured, and one nail broke shortly after. They kindly called me back and redid them with a cat eye design, which I really loved. Unfortunately, within just a couple days, the new set also started breaking. Even after being fixed once for free, two more nails broke off in less than 3 days. For $80, I expected my nails to last much longer. I won't be returning, but I do really appreciate the staff's kindness and trying to fix it. And hope they can improve their technique.

Kate was kind enough to stop decorating the salon's Christmas tree and take me immediately. I really appreciated that the salon had a plastic divider while she worked on my nails so the filing residue did not land on my clothes. She listened carefully to my preferences and delivered exactly what I wanted. Super cute mom and pop nail salon in Monterey.
