While visiting Monterey, I realized it was time to get my nails done. Lucky me I found Pampered Nails on Abrego St. I parked right in front of the storefront and walked in without an appointment. Kate was kind enough to stop decorating the salon's Christmas tree and take me immediately. I really appreciated that the salon had a plastic divider while she worked on my nails so the filing residue did not land on my clothes. She listened carefully to my preferences and delivered exactly what I wanted. Super cute mom and pop nail salon in Monterey. The next time I visit and need my nails done again I will be sure to stop by. read more

This is a cozy nail salon, looks new and super clean. Two ladies were working on the day that I came with my daughter. We both got mani/pedi. The owner was kind enough to accommodate us although we had to wait midway for a previuosly made appointment. For sure, next time we'll make an appointment ahead of time to avoid the long wait. What I love about the women that did our nails is that they did their job perfectly and beautifully. They didn't rush and were very careful. I worried about this for my daughter who has had a trauma from an old nanny cutting her skin while clipping her nail. Prices are reasonable- another important factor. read more

I called on a Saturday afternoon but our schedules didn't align, so Katie decided to come in on her day off, Sunday morning. I got a fill and a pedicure. She took her time and made sure everything was perfect and just how I like. If only she lived in Sacramento...I will definitely return when I'm in Monterey and recommend her to anyone who loves high quality people and nails. read more

In my time getting manicures I have to say this is the BEST place I've found. I moved from the Bay Area to Monterey & I was so impressed. Kate truly has given me the best manicures I've ever had to the point I went out of town for almost one month and actually refused to go somewhere else. They're quite grown out at the moment but I don't even care lol I will gladly wait until I can be seen here again. Thank you!!! read more

Terrible service And extremely rude! The lady had an attitude problem and told us she didn't have time. There was only one client in the shop. Do not go here!!! read more

$45 dollars for a pedicure was a bit of a surprise. They did a good job trimming Dad's toenails. The massage was secondary. We called for an appointment and they had a slot available in the late afternoon. The shop was clean. They were very strict about wearing a mask and made us stay outside until the customer before left and it was Dad's turn. read more

My daughter and I came in for a manicure and pedicure, Kate & Trang was very knowledgeable and efficient. I had gel nail paint and my daughter had a French manicure. They took their time to do the cuticle not like other salons used the electrical file on your nail. We are happy with their work, and would come back again when we are in Monterey. read more

Very nice manicure and pedicure. The salon is small which I was looking for. Good pricing.

Kate is the best nail technician in Monterey! I have been getting my nails done first years and the gel always peels. Kate knows what she is doing! My gel doesn't even lift. I have now been a regular! Appointments are easy and Kate is very communicative. Highly recommended! read more

Not only does Pampered Nails have excellent service, a very clean and hygienic salon but, the manicures and pedicures are wonderful. I stopped getting gel manicures because the electric sanding tool most salons use, damaged my nails. Here at Pampered Nails they take the time to do the foil wrap soak and manually remove the softened gel polish. After almost a year of gel manicures, my fingernails are still thick and healthy. I highly recommend Pampered Nails salon. read more

We moved to the valley in 2020. Prior to our move, I regularly had either gel polish manicures or when those were failing (always peeling), liquid gel nails. I went to Paradise Nail for awhile and then I went to Top Nail for years. The staff there was always friendly and I was happy with their service as long as I stayed with specific people. Once I found Pampered Nails and Kate though, it was a whole other world. First of all, it is the cleanest nail salon on the peninsula. I challenge anyone to find a cleaner more well kept space. New and sterilized tools are always used and come out of sealed packages for their one time use. I was surprised to find that she only does gel polish manicures because at the time I was getting liquid gel nails because the gel polish wouldn't stay on. I can tell you to try gel polish manicure from Katy and it will stay on longer than anyone. She takes her time and ensures the polish is cured for the correct duration between coats and then at the end there is an extra cure. She's a perfectionist as well so you leave with perfect nails. It's really nice not to smell the chemicals from acrylics and liquid gels too. As for their pedicures, they are dreamy. Go with the deluxe that includes hot stone massage. It's really more like a foot massage with a toenail polish at the end. Your feet and calves will feel fabulous. Finally she is extremely professional. Always on time. Always texts you the day before your appointment to check-in with you. I promise Katy and Pampered Nails is the best. read more

Pampered Nails - To remember my nail color I will take photos. This was taken right after oil was applied to my cuticles so that's the reason for the shine. - Nail Salons Near Me - Monterey, California

It's been 5 weeks (FIVE WEEKS, y'all!) and the gel on my fingers and toes has not chipped or peeled AT ALL! You can definitely see the growth, but usually the gel at any other place I've been to, has already lifted by the end of the 2nd week. Everyone working here was amazing and friendly. My family and I were here as part of a bridal party/shower and everyone was happy with their nails. I wish I lived closer so I could frequent this place! read more
