Needless to say, he couldn't find our appointments. He managed to squeeze us in, apparently by giving us some other woman's timeslot bc she showed up pitching a fit during our sprays. We asked where to go for the service. And instead of going behind reception to the salon rooms, we were sent back out the door to the salon, up a few flights of stairs inside an old apartment building. When we got to the piles of black garbage bags stacked in the hallway, the door to the spray room was to the right. There's a tiny, shabby waiting room, if you can call it that, and a janky storage room/janitor closet. Plus, the woman getting sprayed had left her stuff all over the one chair, open handbag and everything. The tan itself didn't really look like much, except on my face, which was really dark. But everywhere else you couldn't really notice it. So, nope. Would not recommend. PS: If this review convinces you to go here, be prepared to get totally nay-nay except for disposable paper undies.

During the session, even though I paid for a Brazilian, she kept trying to get me to do a bikini wax instead (maybe less work for her?) and I had to refuse multiple times. After the appointment, and when I was about to leave, she said she would charge me an extra $15 because my hair was coarse and she did the back (which is what a Brazilian is). That is the ONLY reason this is not one star. My second visit- I went in for a trim of my already short hair and to "lighten my hair one or two shades so it looked more natural" (my exact words- I had dyed it a little darker than I like). Fast-forward 30 minutes and I have fire engine red hair and everyone who works at the salon is trying to convince me to keep it and saying it's 'fine' and 'don't worry, your job can't fire you for your hair color'. Ummmm? My stylist then says, "it's okay we can go darker and it will fade to this color." A - I came in to get my hair LIGHTER, not darker, and B - I did not want it to fade to fire engine red thank-you-very-much. So we dye it darker (read: purple) because I am NOT walking out of there with Yelp-logo-red hair. She then proceeds to chop off my side bangs and gave me super-short, uneven bangs straight across my forehead. Not quite the 'trim' I was looking for. I went right next-door to Harmon as soon as I left. All I have to say is thank God for ColorOops, box color, and deep conditioner because I managed to fix it myself. $145 dollars for 3-hours of my life I'll never get back and I go home with color stains ALL over my face and neck and purple hair that I then had to fix myself?? I don't know what was going on there, but I know that I will not be going back to find out.
