Unfortunately this was my second visit to The Nail Zone. I thought I'd give them another opportunity to make up for my first visit. Today I went in for a manicure, I was asked to "pick a color" I did so and the young lady asked me to have a seat in the pedicure chair. Obviously she misunderstood so I explained that I only wanted a manicure. During the confusion another patron enters and requests a Pedicure. I was asked to have a seat at the manicure station. I waited and waited and realized that the young lady that was assisting me started the pedicure with the patron that came in after I did!! My previous visit was not much different the manicurists stopped working on me to start a woman who was in a hurry. I never take the time to do reviews but I thought his was absolutely necessary! Service is spotty - depending on how busy they are -- ie appointments not always starts on time, rushed through services, etc. However, the staff is always courteous and nice. They generally do a nice job. I am a repeat customer and will continue to be there. read more

This is by far the best mani/pedi I have had in Denver and maybe even compared to my regulars in LA. The owner/employees are kind, the place is super clean with a wide selection of polish colors. The jelly pedicure and massage along with the massage chair had me zoning into a state of Bliss. They are meticulous about polishing the entire nail and cleaning up any color around cuticles. They have convenient free parking what more can you ask for. I highly recommend and will absolutely return. read more

They took me as walk-in for a mani pedi. Place was clean and relaxing. They use plastic liners on the foot tubs which I think is nice. There is a menu of several options for pedicures. Pedicure was done first and then the manicure. I really like the extra time to relax and let toes dry when done like this. My technician was not very aggressive with clipping dried cuticles or scrubbing calloused areas. The overall nail polish selection was good (essi, opi, etc). The team is very thorough and detailed oriented, which means great massages during their pedicures and a clean polish finish that lasts. The price can't be beat either! Love these ladies, they have done nails and feet and all have turned out awesome. Pedicures they massage your leg with hot stones! The nail polish selection is great and they actually have it in color order which I appreciate so much. It's decorated very nice and they are very professional and clean. All super nice. Bought a coupon for this place off of travel zoo a spa pedi and mani for 30 bucks!. Have never been here but couldnt beat the deal. I am always leary of new nail salons because you never know what type of service you will get. The place is located in this small shopping lot , I went in and was suprised how cute and clean it was, they have about 3 spa chairs and 3 nail booths, the front person greeted me as soon as i came in and asked me to pick my polish. I had an appointment at 11 and was seated by 11:05. The spa chair was very comfy and clean, the young girl i had was very nice and spoke good english. She started off by soaking my feet and then went to work on trimming them and buffing my soles, she was very detailed. I got a nice foot massage, and calf massage, during that i got a nice lavendar scrub on my calfs, hot towels and lotion. For my feet she massaged oils, lotions into them and ended with a hot towel. Once that was done she brought hot rocks (which i have NEVER had done). OMG!!! she massaged my calfs with them, massaged my feet and toes with them, then they were placed on my feet for a few more minutes, tell you what that was amazing!! I truely felt pampered after all that. She then proceeded with coloring my toes and did a fantastic job. Mani Sat at her little booth, she cut down my nails. sanded and buffed them, then my hands got massaged with oils and lotion which was great that doesnt usually happen. She then spent quality time cutting my cuticals and painting my nails. Once all that was done she brought me over to have my toes and nails dried and during that time i got a small back massage!! I was like wait what?! I would say that was completely wonderful So YES this place is heaven!! I have never EVER been pampered as i was here!! This is what i would like from every nail place i go too! I mean the next time i wont have a coupon and it would be like $50 but still for what you got was so0o0o worth it!!. I've been here a few times for pedicures. Some have been really good and some have been meh, not bad, but not really good. However, yesterday I went in for a shellac manicure -- my first ever -- and I'm in love. I hate getting manicures and rarely waste the money because I usually wreck my nails before I get to the car. The shellac dries before you leave the salon and you can pay your bill, get your keys, and drive away with no issues. Also, I hate the way regular nail polish smells, but the shellac is odorless when it dries. read more

I had been her a few times with mediocre service. They get the job done but don't pay very good attention to the details. Appointments don't really matter. Even when I book an appointment they never take my name and I still have to wait. It's close to my house so I only go when I'm in a rush. This last time my gel manicure was poorly done and started peeling after just six days. When I went in show them, they said they couldn't do anything about it. Save your time and money and go somewhere else. Try Thai Nails instead. It's better quality and better service. read more

I went to Nail Zone for the promising reviews. I received a rushed manicure and though the shellac was promised to last for almost two weeks, my nails chipped the next day!! I am so disappointed and will not be returning. It's now been 4 days and every single nail had chipped. Too much money for such a poor quality job. read more

I was incredibly disappointed. I took a friend for her birthday and there seemed to be several good reviews. We had appointments scheduled, and I had scheduled almost a week prior.The staff didn't talk to any of the 3 of us for the majority of our time there, barely even a hello. They held a personal conversation through the entire visit. The woman who did my nails didn't even ask what type of pedicure I wanted, another employee did, and she seemed extremely put-off that I requested an upgrade. She was terribly rough with both the mani and pedi and I left with sore fingers and toes. She made me bleed at one point during the mani, and didn't say a word. I had wanted some nail art, she didn't ever ask and seemed to be in such a rush and so irritated that I was even there, I didn't want to take the chance of making things worse by asking. We won't be returning and I would suggest you spend your money elsewhere because you sure won't get a welcoming or relaxing experience here. read more

This was my go to place in terms of service and price. Unfortunately, they disregarded my appointment today. Typically that's fine; I can push off my hands and waxing for another day. My issue is trying to pressure me to get waxed by someone that's in training and isn't fully capable. I asked if they're confident in her abilities and got a so-so answer with no untrained discount. Again, I'd typically be down but I don't want to be pressured to pay full price for a service of someone the receptionist isn't confident in. I also would like my reservation held as the people who were booked for mine (Waxing + pedicure) had gone home for the day although it was booked and confirmed less than an hour prior. They can get people in the door but there is no remorse for a false reservation or a solution after the fact which I would've been fine with. I don't want an untrained person taking my facial hair off until trained to do so. read more

The worst nail salon that I have ever been to. I love getting my nails done and have been to many places around the nation since I travel a lot, and the lady I had was the worst. I did both nail and pedi and she didn't even ask me which nail color that I would like for my nails. They talk in their own language which is not english and felt like they are talking behind me. They were obviously talking to each other, giving me the look, was very uncomfortable. Pedi was super quick, felt like she was rushing. The fastest Pedi service that I have ever received. She didn't start the conversation first to me, only kept talking with her coworkers. She asked me few questions towards the end but felt like she was pressured to ask me such questions. Maybe her colleagues told her to do so in their language to get some tips, i guess. When I walked into nail salons they usually smile and the lady sitting on the table who greeted me, didn't. This was the WORST pedicure I ever experienced. It does not even deserve 1 star!!! I went there for the 1st time yesterday afternoon for a pedicure. I was told because I did not have an appointment it would be about a 25 minute wait. Even though there 2 empty chairs I said I would wait. When it was my turn I was given a young gentleman. He asked me if I wanted him to wear gloves since he had an open cut and I said absolutely. While he was clipping my toenails he cut 2 of them. They bled and hurt and he put some antiseptic on them which hurt even more. I asked him to stop. He was very inept with the pedi tools and very rough. It was obvious he has little if any training. The shop started to get busy so he left me to start another pedi on another client. Some other lady polished my toes quickly. The polish bubbled and in less than day has started chipping. I hope I don't end up with an infection!!! They are very rude and rush the services. read more

I went here because it's within walking distance from my house. I didn't have a scheduled appointment, I just walked-in on a weekday afternoon for a pedicure, and they were able to see me right away. As it was my first time, I was unfamiliar with where the polishes were and since no one helped me, I had to navigate on my own. The girl who did my pedicure didn't say hello, and I had to ask if she was the one seeing me that day, no one had told me either way. The second I put my feet up she cut all my toenails off (really short) and rounded them. Traditionally when I get pedis they ask how long/short and the desired shape. I like my toenails a little longer and more square than round, so I was really unhappy and put off that she didn't ask me what my preference was. Overall she did an okay job. She didn't get my calluses and rough spots as much as like, my feet weren't very soft when I left. I think each pedicure comes with a warm stone massage and that felt nice. When she was done she put me in their 'dry room' to let my toes dry, but she never came back to check on me or tell me I was finished, she just walked out. The pedicure was $33, a mediocre price, but the service was unfriendly and cold. Personally, I felt very uncomfortable, which is unfortunate because I want to relax and enjoy services like this when I treat myself, not awkward and unwelcome. When I decided my toes were dry, I went to pay, and didn't get a 'thank you' or any type of goodbye. My toes looked okay and they lasted a decent amount of time. I think if it were a nicer, more welcoming atmosphere I would go back, but based on my first experience at Nail Zone it will be my last. read more
