I arrived a 1/2 hour before the salons opening time. I was placed at a chair for a pedicure. The technician began my service only to have Annie the owner stop the technician stating that people who had made appointments had arrived. Only one technician was on duty for three customers. I was a walk-in. The two people with actual appointments were placed in chairs as well. Their service, then was begun by the same technician. Then a fourth customer arrived who had an appointment but apparently had specified a technician. The only technician on duty was again moved down the line to this fourth customer who requested said technician! None of us customers were pleased!! Instead of moving the technician twice, why didn't the owner assist?! The owner did not assist until later on! The new owner, Annie, is extremely rude, unprofessional, and extremely unskilled at owning and managing a small business. I am a American citizen, born and raised in the Stroudsburg PA area and am a US military Veteran!! This is clearly NOT the way we Americans treat one another! A lesson in Civics is encouraged here! Went there last Friday to get a Full set with French. Guy took forever to do the French tip for the lines to not even be straight. In less than a week one nail broke, I went back to the salon to get the nail fixed and was told I had to wait 30 minutes which I did. 30 minutes passed and still was unable to get the nail fixed, yet they took two people who walked in after me. DIRTY EQUIPMENT! I came to this salon off and on throughout the years. Nov. 2022 I came to the salon to get my nails refilled. The nail technician cut my pinky finger with her equipment. I didn't think anything of it til 2 days my finger started getting swollen, then later underneath my nail, it started to fill with green fluid. To make a long story short- I went to the hospital 2x I had to get my finger drained and had to go on antibiotics. I followed up with my primary care physician and I was told I will lose my entire nail. I went to the nail salon to let them know to make sure the equipment was clean - I needed to remove the acrylic that was on the damaged nail (I needed it done professionally because of the damage) I waited almost an hour for service and when I asked for them to clean the equipment in front of me- the nail technician had a nasty attitude and was rough with my finger. Today my nail has come off completely, my nail bed is completely destroyed. I will never return here and I do not recommend this salon to anyone. read more

I got my nails done for the first time here two weeks ago. Had a woman who powder dipped my nails and applied tips to them and I was so happy. Just went back today and asked for them to shorten my tips a little and do another color powder dipped. The man instead took my tips completely off, so I just said "do my natural nails in the powder dip color." He seemed to have NO idea what he was doing. there is powder dip color on the sides of my nails and there isn't even color on some spots in my nails. Had a lady that was never there before work on my feet for a pedi and it took her 45 mins to just cut my toe nails and the cuticles around the toe nails. Then she started to exfoliate the bottom of the feet and had this wand looking thing and that is when I stopped her. I mean 45 mins just to do the toes. I go there every other week so my feet are in great shape and does not need all that time on them. Even though I did not get my toes painted or the massage or exfoliation I was charged $30. So I went to get my eyebrows done, and the one Asian lady who did them, rushed through the whole process which caused her to mess up and make one thinner than the other. This review is mainly for the old Asian woman with short hair since that is who did my mani pedi. She definitely rushed through the entire thing. She was done with my feet and hands before other people who started theirs before me. At first I assumed this was because she was more experienced but that wasn't the case. I had a torn toenail that she simply painted over instead of filing and shaping. As for my hands, my fingernails were filed uneven. She used her fingernails to clean up any polish that got on my cuticles. The polish was also uneven and bubbly when it dried. I'd love to give a zero. I am a positive person though, so let me start with the positive- Jurassic park was playing in the salon when I went for my manicure. Unfortunately that's where it ends. The nail polish selection was doo, and the nail polish I chose ended up being pure tar. The man doing my nails (for reference and to avoid my mistake, it was the man with a full head of blonde highlights) filed my nails into little slides (very crooked) so I asked him to trim my nails "a little bit." He then cut them down to the nubs! Then HE WENT IN on my cuticles, making my pinky bleed... and then proceeded to put glue on the cut. Whaaaaaat, really?!?! Then the real torture began... he started polishing my nails and did this weird shwoopy circular motion. At first I thought "oh maybe he's just a really experienced nail technician who has a special technique" .. but then I looked down. It looked like my 5 year old niece did my nails. The nail polish was so thick my fingers looked like bubble letters. There was nail polish EVERYWHERE! All over my skin and cuticles, and he didn't fix it! I sat for 20 minutes under the dryer and they still didn't dry, and the polish got very bubbly. I brought this to his attention and all he did was put more clear polish over top... which required me to wait another four-thousand years to dry. I figured I'd cut my losses there and just leave. An hour later I could smush the nail polish off of my nails... that's how thick and tar-like it was! I wish I took a picture of it, so you could see how truly bad it was... but I had to remove it. For $4 less you can go to different nail salons in the area and get WAY better service with higher quality. BEWARE!!! Overpriced and SO SO bad!! read more

Over the past 10 years I have tried various salons in the area and have always come back to Nail Trix (both in the mall and near Sonic). True, that during their busiest times they sometimes say "10 minutes" when it's really half an hour... but I try to during off hours (first thing in the morning on weekends 5:00 rush on weekdays) and just before the and hardly ever have any wait. You can also make appointments with specific technicians. The price and speed is competitive and they know what they are doing! I see a few different people when I go, but Bea & Kim always do my waxing. They also do my pedis (you have to ask for the razor if you want it). Duke is very talented, and Jen does amazing Nail Art. Unless you are looking for a day spa type of setting, I would recommend Nail Trix!!! read more
