I regret going back…read morethis time :( first- I'm very pregnant so I wanted to treat myself to a mani pedi before baby comes. Nail tech ended up making me bleed while doing my cuticles, and I bled A LOT. He had to apply pressure for several minutes to the cut he made on my cuticle/skin. Then he went to do a stone massage, I felt the water and told him it was much too hot. It was way hotter than it should have been. He looked at me and proceeded to pour the bowl of super hot water on both my legs and I even made a noise because it was so uncomfortable. He had me get out of the pedi chair myself, normally not a problem but I am 35 weeks pregnant. it took me a while to get out and he just stared at me the entire time. I even looked at him ready to ask him for a hand but he was really impatient with me. we do the mani and I asked for a simple French, regular polish. things are going better and then he cuts tooo deep on cuticle again and I bleed enough where he has to apply pressure with a small gauze. he did it again on another finger. My cuticles are very red on that hand now. then he doesn't finish the manicure and has someone else do it. this person finishes the manicure in record time but left me to dry at the manicure table for at least 30 mins with nothing drying my nails. eventually I had to ask if I should go over to the drying station instead and someone brings me over. everyone else around me gets a brief shoulder massage but they didn't do that for me. I thought OK they must be busy. I wait a little bit until I'm dry until I look at the time and realize I need to leave so I can eat because I'm starting to feel sick. It's been about 2 hours now (not so bad on a busy day maybe but because I didn't get gel or dip or anything I guess I thought it would be faster) get up and see that my heels are still wrapped in Saran Wrap with callus softener on them even though he finished my pedi!!!! At this point my hormones were starting to make me really emotional and I decided to leave without tipping (I paid a full $75 for the service) the manager chased me out and asked me why I didn't tip, so I told her everything. I've never felt the need to do something like that before. Within an hour of leaving, I not only chip some of the French tip off, my nail CRACKED! I am so disappointed and will have to figure out a way to fix it myself. wanted to do something relaxing before I give birth in a few weeks but it was anything but. :( I'm also feeling a lot of guilt, I've never had this bad of an experience there, and everyone else looked like they got a great service. my mother in law came with me and she was so happy, her tech was so nice and nails look amazing. While I learned the hard way that you do need to make an appointment vs walk in, it's so worth it! The owner is a badass in a great way. They are nice, friendly, reasonably priced and know what they are doing! I love coming here for my dip powder nails and pedicure. I also bring my daughter here from time to time for a mani/pedi. She's 7 and she's treated like a little princess here. :)

When I called & VERY nicely explained what happened she actually said, "we tried to tell you not to get that type of polish but you got it anyway." Maybe there was a language barrier or maybe I misunderstood but instead of accusing the customer of being the cause of the awful job done (after they redid the 3 fingernails for only $5) maybe take some responsibility. They lost a customer who tips 25%. I was charged $30 but I paid $40 including tip all for bad job.

She refiled and repainted them then charged me $110, and I did not tip. Once in Hawaii, I had them soaked off and redone as well as my pedicure too. It cost a fortune to have them redone and I missed a beach day sitting in a nail salon. The whole time I sat there, she was singing, rambled on and constantly was saying "sorreeeee". She went back not even 24 hrs later to show that her polish was all chipped up and all they said was that was normal when you only polish your nails. She requested a refund and they would Not honor her a refund. This was such a waste of time and money. To say that the nail polish chips and it's normal and to not even want to make it right is just preposterous. One thing for sure is my daughter will Never be going back here again nor will she ever recommend this place to anyone.
