I love it here!! I come regularly to get pedicures, and they always do such an amazing job! The staff work so hard and go above and beyond to make it a relaxing experience for you. I love that you are given a menu to select the type of pedicure you want. They even massage your shoulders for a few minutes while your toes are drying! This was my third time going back to this nail salon and I will never go back. Any other nail salon I've been to when you pick a gel color with the polish next to it. it matches today I picked a color and my toes were orange instead of pink. When I went back in, they tried to dismiss it. I showed them with the light showing on my feet that it was orange, not pink. Instead of finding the color or removing the nail polish, they just put the polish on top of my nails. To pay $48 or $38 to have my pedicure done along with the extra little treatment and for it to feel like it was being barely even touched any type of actual caring seeing how they are the workers in there I was so extremely disappointed. Once they heard we said a regular they kept pushing for gel and that it would be $30 each. At the end of the visit we ended up paying $85.... The man at the front carefully explained how it came out to $85 but my mom and I weren't understanding how it jumped so high. We just paid and left... I will say that some of the employees are polite and they treat you as a human being But idunno I surely won't be coming back here I hate leaking bad reviews because I know how detrimental it could be to a business but I rather warn others so they don't go through the same thing I did My moms nails did come out decent.... i would give it a 6/10 only because they got polish on her toe cuticles and it seemed somewhat rushed. This rating is a combination of views. I rarely get my nails done, but when Aling did my nails is was a wonderful experience! Fun and calming. She was so gentle with the drill they use to remove gel. She paid attention to detail and even applied a third coat because the color looked patchy with a second coat. Her massage was quality. You could tell she loved what she did. I was so pleased I decided to get them done again when they needed it. I'd give her 5 stars if it was individual ratings. when I went today I got a different person. I'll not name her but I will never let her touch my hands again. I was so so disappointed. First with the gel removal, she accidentally removed skin on my pinky and then the ring finger. I was surprised she didn't learn from the first finger. I was trying to hold back tears from then on. i am not good at confrontation. my nails are patchy with air bubbles and lint painted on top. Not a fan. Went here for years due to lack of other options until I found my go-to place. I find most of the staff at Laurel spa unfriendly, and when you walk in, they all stare at you like you have 2 heads. Their communication is very limited, the staff I had never understood what I wanted when it came to design and this place is very expensive. For example. The last time I went they charged me $5 for each nail that had a different polish color!!! Not a design but just a different nail polish color!!!!! This was the absolute worst pedicure I've ever received in my life. They claim to give you a "6 minute" massage, the guy I had creepily stroked my toes lightly to the point it was uncomfortable. There was no "massage" involved in his 6 minute timer. The only thing he did was painted my nails and he messed that up - Terribly. They put paper towels between my toes instead of the normal nail separators. Paying 23 dollars for a pedicure to only get the color changed is absurd. I will never go back there nor will I ever recommend this place. I had to come home and scrub my own feet and will have to fix my polish. How are they still in business? I have been coming here for years. Mainly because it is convenient. A couple years back there was a girl named Seven who took care of me and she always did a great job. Since she left I just use whoever is available. A couple years ago they talked me into using ANC nails and I liked it and every time I went in for a set they talked me into getting it...it's more expensive than an acrylic set so I understand why they push it but today I went in and I wanted acrylic because with the ANC you have to have them completey removed in order to change colors. Well I explained to the woman that I wanted acrylic and explained why and she just wouldn't stop...finally she gave up. I sat down and my pedicure began...a man started the pedicure and it was wack lol no effort into the massage at all...the water was luke warm at best and he was finished in 10 minutes tops. And once he started to paint my toes another guy stepped in and took over. He painted my toes and then did my manicure and I liked him....he was good...and he helped me with matching the colors. Anyway, I was all done and went to pay..my bill was 70 bucks and I gave the second guy a ten dollar tip. As I'm walking out the guy at the register stopped me and asked me to tip the first guy. I was frigging floored. I said to him that I did not feel it was necessary.( At nail salons my tip is standard 5 dollars per service provided unless it's over the top excellent then I give more..and I felt ten dollars to the guy I was with the longest was fair) anyway my problem is... who the heck asks for a tip? He embarrassed me..everyone was looking at me like I didn't tip and I did...I ended up walking out..I made it ten steps and went back and told the cashier that he embarrassed me, I gave him 2 dollars to pass along to the first guy and left. Was this the best pedicure I ever had in my life? No. But at 9 1/2 months pregnant I was in and out in less than an hour with no wait and it was worth every bit of my $24 To sit in that massage chair and have somebody rub my feet. I got my lashes done twice there. This last time the lady glued the lashes onto my real lashes in chunks. I have little to no eyelashes left on my right eye and currently am doing everything I can to get them off of my left eye. Makeup remover, hot compresses, and olive oil have not worked.
