I went to get my nails done on Wednesday. The nail tech I had didn't seem to listen to my concerns and I left dissatisfied. Two days later, I noticed my middle finger starting to hurt and it looked like she failed too deep on the sides of my nail causing sensitivity. I went to speak to the owner, Amy, about the issue. She proceeded to squeeze my finger after I told her it hurt multiple times and gave me a three different causes of my pain. She then started to file under my nail, which caused sharp pain and I immediately told her to stop as that really hurt. She ignored and tried to keep filing. I pulled my hand back and she snatch my hand by the finger that was bothering me to try and file it some more. Then said there's nothing that can be done and to come back if the pain continues. Now instead of an uncomfortable sensitive finger, there is now a stinging sensation. I have never experienced such level of disrespect not only to me but the health of my nails. read more

I have been going to EN for a couple of years, and was suspicious of them saying things about customers when they were displeased. I went through most of the reviews, and one thing I have to say is that I agree with other suspicious that when something "bugs" a nail technician, they start talking about you. I know this first hand, and can clearly name Lynn, who is rude and obnoxious. I recorded on my phone as they spoke in their native language and brought the recording home and had it translated. I went for a pedicure- made an appointment the day before to ensure I could get both my mom and I seen. We were seated quickly, she chose the regular pedicure and I decided to spring for the Deluxe and pamper myself. Unfortunately I didn't see much difference between what my mom got and what I received for nearly $30 more. So if I go back (and I probably will-it was clean and reasonable ) I'll just get the regular pedicure and save my money! They do take CCs, but don't allow you to put the tip on the card, so you'll need cash. Atm on premises but you pay all the fees of course. This is another annoying aspect and I wonder why a majority of these salons still live in the dark ages in that respect. read more

Went there as a walk in. I asked the front desk person to get 2 mani/pedis one for me and one for my daughter. They took my daughter and told me that I was next after my daughter. The place got very busy in about 1/2 half of our arrival. I waited patiently and I even said to the lady that was giving the mani/pedi to my daughter after my daughter I'm next. I was told Yes. 1 1/2 hours I still hadn't gotten anything done. After the fact the customers that were there early than us and after us were done and gone. When I said I'm going to pay then we are leaving to my daughter. The owner seemed confused and when I stated to her that the mani/pedi service was for BOTH of us. She tried saying I didn't inform them. In fact I said it 3x over (2x to the person with my daughter and 1x to the owner). Not going back since they didn't seem to care since they had more customers to tend to. read more

I had a 1pm appointment and got in and out in 40 minutes, super attentive, no wait. They do take walk in's. I got black gel acrylics and they look great! Personal issue: I bite the skin on my fingers so it burned when the dip came on but of course, my fault. So beware it burns if you have cuts or exposed skin! They were amazing to my actual fingers, good cuticle care. However, My nails a little sore, not sure why. This place is small and pretty busy so kind of jam packed. However, the workers do wear masks but no mask policy for customers. Not a issue for someone who is vaccinated of course. Workers are pretty quiet to customers, a lot of chat with other workers, not a problem to me. 55$ for black gel acrylics, normal polish with acrylics is 50$. I didn't get a pedi so I do not know those prices. 55$ for good nails that feel like they'll last is a good price, at-least to me. Ive been coming here for the past few months, lately I think they're getting a little LAZY! I recently came in for a fill as I do every 2 weeks. When I originally got a full set the week prior, I asked for longer nails and for them to be "ballerina" shaped. Not only did the lady forget to do them long, she was too far in and said I can do it next time. 2 Weeks later I came in, asked for a nail extension so i could finally have the ballerina shaped nails that I originally asked for and the nail technician complained and said it was too much work. She eventually did them, and painted my nails with the gel polished that I asked for but I found her complaining very unprofessional. Now with the most recent experience was 2 weeks after the last one mentioned. I came in with my nail cracked horizontal. I notified the tech so it would be fixed. I also asked for a cut down, which she complained about before doing. She did my nails in the end they came out nice & I loved the color of my gel polish. Well 2 days later the same nail I told her about is cracked in the same spot. I go back, she fixed it with a attitude same it was my fault. Now a day later the same nail is cracked again! As she fixed it the last time she made me bleed when she ripped my nail off. I've been in here 3 times in one week for the same nail. This place is unprofessional, they will talk about you in another language and once you've become somewhat of a regular customer they stop doing a good job! When you first walk in, it doesn't look like much at all. The salon itself didn't seem like the most sanitary when you look at certain things. But I had a manicure/pedicure and I have to say they did a great job with the work. My nail tech was very friendly, really took her time on everything, and did a fantastic job. I'm very happy with the way my nails came out and the experience was actually very relaxing. The salon itself much to look at, but the workers are very nice and do a great job. However, the only thing I didn't like was how many people they allowed to wait inside. The salon itself is small so with COVID guidelines I would've expected them to have customers to wait in the car or just limit the amount of people inside. read more

I've been coming here to have my nails done for several years, and I have to agree with previous reviewer Blayne P. that the service and attitude here has changed. Recently I came in on a Thursday morning and there were two people ahead of me. All five available nail techs were working with clients. The owner acknowledged me after I asked if I should come back later in the day for a fill, since it appeared they were busy. She said that it was okay to stay. After a 30 minute wait, two people came in after me and were taken ahead of me. One was getting a pedicure and the other a manicure. This place plays fast and loose with reservations and I didn't hear anyone say they had called ahead. I got up and left. I think the salon has gotten busier in the last several months and they don't have enough techs to handle the volume and I noticed some turnover among the staff, as well as staff showing up late. Also, the service seem sloppy at times in an effort to service more customers. I will be going to a new nail salon. read more

At the end of the day I want my mani/pedi to look good when I leave a salon. Pedicures include a hot stone massage, which other salons charge extra for. The people were very rude to customers on the phone. The woman doing my nails sat right next to the register, and had to stop often to help other customers. I don't mind that because they seemed to be getting busy, and she was right by the register anyways. She complained about customers on the phone to me, ANOTHER CUSTOMER. I understand working in customer service is exhausting, as I work in customer service myself, but complaining to customers? Unprofessional. I asked for short coffin nails due to my job not allowing long nails, and she asked my profession, and I told her I'm a server. She said to me "I've had many servers come in here before getting long nails, why don't you?" Because I didn't want long nails. Why do I have to justify the length of my nails to anyone? She also cut my cuticles four times, and ran her nails along the cuts (so very painful). Then put a topcoat on the cuts as well. They got nail polish on my hands (I understand no one is perfect, but the amount was too much). Whenever I go to a nail salon and they cut your cuticles on over 2 nails, they discount you. Here, they did not (it was whatever at the time) But then charged me $5 extra for the coffin shape! Maybe that is normal, but i've never been charged extra for a coffin shape! This was all four days ago, and three of my acrylics are peeling off already! NEVER go to Elegant Nails. read more

I got a basic manicure. I like my nails shaped rounded, but I was not asked and they were cut and filed square. Not only that, my nails were cut unevenly (they are diagonal...) and when she polished them, there was nail polish left on the skin of my fingers and cuticles. The language is not always English, but my nails don't care, and the stylists are very nice and always respectful. My sis got a chip due to her own fault, we went back an hour later, and they fixed it with the best attitude. My daughter-in-law and I went to Elegant Nails for a Mani/Pedi to spend time together. At first it was fine - enjoyed the Pedi; WELL, this was a Saturday and Tuesday two of her tips FELL OFF (NOT BROKE OFF) so she went back to have them put back on and redone. The woman was very harsh while doing her electric filing near her cuticles till they bled even though she told her it hurt TWICE. This employee was speaking to the other employees in their language and they all stared at my daughter-in-law like they were making fun of her pain. The woman then told my daughter-in-law "GO WASH YOUR HANDS" not in a nice way. The woman then proceeded to harshly finish my daughter-in-law (WHILE PUTTING WRONG SHADE OF POLISH ON) and then wanted to CHARGE HER. My daughter-in-law told her I will give you $5 for repairing your mistake howeverI AM NOT PAYING FOR THE SERVICE after paying $105.00 on Saturday!!!! read more

I was actually in the salon when the most recent reviewer (Donrie's) DIL came in last night. I came out here to write a review of how I saw that girl treated only to find that someone beat me to it. And I hope the DIL writes one too. There were a couple of us ladies getting pedis when the young lady walked in. I didn't hear what she said to the manicurist in the beginning but it was apparent that none of the workers there were happy after that. The girl sat down to get her what I now know were broken nails fixed and immediately started wincing at the drill. The woman doing her nails instantly started talking to the other nail ladies in a language that is not English and they all stared at the girl getting her nails fixed. It was very uncomfortable in the salon. It was apparent they were talking about her. The English speaking ladies all exchanged glances acknowledging the tension. I have never had a great (or even good) experience at Elegant Nails... I come here because it's close to my house. They never buff your feet enough and barely do a leg massage (maybe a 30 second one per leg)... But I've never had a reason to NOT go back. Until now. I was blown away when I came out here to provide a review and see the one posted this morning. It was obviously a bad experience for MANY. I will not go back.
