I've never been to such an unprofessional nail salon in my life. I usually go to my regular nail salon in blairstown but the holidays are coming and I needed a fill. Decided that I would try Janes nails since they are closer to my home in Belvidere. What a mistake. She filled my French manicure using white powder. Didn't bother to completely remove the acrylic that was already on there. She was busy taking personal calls on her cell phone. Talking about pies for the holidays. She hardly spoke to me. While she was talking on the phone she was filing the acrylic down and managed to hit my cuticle l said ouch. She acted like I was interrupting her phone call. I left with three tone nails instead of the two. I wanted pink with white tips. I ended up with clear,pink and white tips. Looks like an amateur did them. When I called to complain the response was they couldn't match the pink. I attempted to tell her they wouldn't even try by using polish to cover it. What an absolute waste of $30! To top it off the gentleman closest to the counter had a complaint while I was having my nails done. He said " if you don't like it don't come back" I know I definitely will heed his advice. I won't return. Feel free to look at the pictures I've posted of the manicure she did. I'm going to have to try to find a dark color polish to cover it up until I can go to my regular salon and have this mess removed and filled correctly. read more

I decided to come here when my regular nail salon was a little crowded. When I first walked in I immediately noticed how sloppy and dirty this placed looked. The nail polish wall was filled with old bottles and there were cases of supplies just thrown everywhere. Once I was in the pedicure chair soaking my feet, I noticed that black hair was all over my legs (Both the technician and I had blonde hair). Gross. The technician rushed through both the pedicure and gel manicure. She didn't even say one word to my throughout the whole process. To top it all off they charged my card twice for this service. When I came back (with my bank statement) and they refused to admit that they had done anything wrong. In front of all of their customers they managed to turn it on me and make it seem like I was in the wrong. It was the worst experience. I've worked in retail/service jobs in the past and never in my life would I treat a client the way I was treated. read more

I've been coming to Jane Nails for 6 years. For 1 of the 6 years I traveled from Delaware to Jane Nails to get my nails done/filled, eyebrows and pedicures. Before I moved to this area I dated someone who lived in Phillipsburg. I needed a place to get my nails filled while I was up here and at the suggestion of a local friend I decided to try Jane Nails. I was told it was the town's best spot! I've been getting my nails/toes done since high school. I've never been able to find a spot that can do them to my liking until I started coming here. They listen to what you want and make suggestions if what you want might not be the best thing for you. Ben is my favorite tech! He's friendly and makes conversation, unlike other salons where they talk about you in another language. They offer a range of different services from acrylic, gel, pink and white, regular polish, gel polish, colored acrylics and so on! My eyebrows are beasts. Jane Nails is also the only salon that can tame them to my liking. My favorite waxer is Anna. All the staff are friendly and outgoing. If you become a regular they greet you by name and remember details about you. To me this goes a very long way in terms of customer service. They treat you like a friend who has come to visit! I highly recommend Jane Nails to anyone within the area. read more

I don't even want to give this place a star, but I have to in order to review them. They do not disinfect their instruments and use used buffers, etc. The place smells like a nail polish and acetone factory, no ventilation. Not very knowledge in gel nails and do not know any shapes besides square. Charge extra to shape your nails anything other than bulky square. read more

I've been to Jane Nails twice and left extremely pleased both times. Ben was my nail tech and he really listened to exactly what I've wanted both times. I need my acrylic nails short, thin and as natural looking as possible and he does just that. Couldn't be more please! read more

I have mixed feelings on this place. Everything was rushed. I felt like I was in a marathon. The fill-in and gel paint I got was good but the pedicure was no-frills. I have never been here before and I walked in to see if they had time. I was ushered into the back for the pedicure. There are no choices, just a plain pedicure. The girl that did mine was not friendly and she worked so fast it made the whole thing very uncomfortable. If it took 15 minutes, I'm exaggerating. Then came the fill in. The girl there was more friendly however her comments about the condition of my nails and the constant shaking of her head was a little daunting. The whole experience was daunting and unfriendly and considering this was my first time there I was shocked. I probably won't come back to this place ever again. read more

This was hands down the worst manicure I've ever had in my life. Not only were my nails cut down so short it barely looks like I have nails anymore, they were so poorly buffed and shaped even though I asked twice for them to be shaped round. They are uneven and ragged. Usually my nails take atleast an hour and I was rushed in and out of here in 40 minutes. Clearly due to the poor quality of the job done. Tried this nail place recently. Pedicure was a hot mess. Nails uneven, color left on skin and I was left at the dryer without further contact until I decided to go to register. No thank you, no anything. Further the girls who were doing the work were arguing with each other and making fun of an elderly patron who was hard of hearing. To make matters worse they started talking foreign and laughing. Very rude and unprofessional. Needless to say, I will not be back and have been telling others to stay away. read more

I'm not a hard customer...ok maybe a little but I work on my feet 50 hrs a week, so I like to pamper my feet. It's the only girly thing I do. It's the only thing I do for myself really. I came in asking for a spa pedicure - every salon in NYC offers them. Spa pedicures are glorious- they put a masque on your calfs, soak your feet in callus remover and you leave feeling like a princess. So I ask for one. The guy says ok. I ask the woman doing my pedicure if I'm getting the spa pedicure, she talks to the other women in a language I don't speak and is laughing while saying "spa pedicure"...hm okay. Obviously I don't get a spa pedicure. I ask for the extra $10/ 10minute foot massage. I get it. I think? Along with more giggle in a language while they're staring at me. I got a mediocre at best. I have the same pumices in my shower and a better selection of regular and vinyl if polish. I could have a done a better job myself and saved myself the money the cackly mean girl mellow drama. I have heard jersey nails are amazing and this was an epic disappointment. read more

First time trying this place and the last time . Dirty dirty dirty. I hope I don't get an infection. When they announced to the gentleman who was going to do my pedicure, he was on his phone and actually stamped his feet out of frustration. The employees are so loud and the pedicure is nothing to write home about. The employees actual hide in the back room and stamp their feet when they have to do some work. You may be speaking a different language, but we all know what you're saying! For a business in the service industry, it is remarkable to me that the staff has such little respect for clients. Terrible experience! By far the worst pedicure I have ever had. The staff member did a total rush job on me and it shows! and was rude as well. In the short time frame of my visit I saw the staff passing tools back and forth frequently and using them on several clients without any kind of cleaning in between! I am totally disgusted! I went here for my wedding mani-pedi and they were great! Nails lasted over two weeks looking great. Only complaints are that they are over priced. Oh and they didn't warn me how difficult it would be to get gel manicure off! read more
