When my friend and I stopped by to get our nails done, it was extremely hard to communicate what we wanted due to massive language barrier. Through pointing and body language we expressed what colors we wanted. Sadly, the color that I picked was see through which I am not particularly a fan of... when I pointed out to the tech she had no idea what I was saying. Then I asked for a new color... she just added a new color on top of old one making quite a combo on my hands. My friend was done first and paid with her Amex card. I was right after trying to pay with mine and was informed salon does not take Amex (?) literally just observed my friend paying with one, but okay When I had my nails redone in San Diego, my poor nail tech spent over 50 minutes trying to get coating off my nails as it was done very poorly.. read more

It is hit or miss here. You will get a great tech and then they will leave. I come because I have a card and after 10 visits you get a free manicure. We had appointments scheduled. I got there late because of traffic. I apologized and said I know I'll have to wait. Totally 100% my fault. He let us wait about 15 minutes then came and said I can't see you, come later. Ok what time? He said come back at 2:00 and put us in the schedule book. At 1:35 we came back. He said no you have to wait. I said yes, I know we are early but the traffic is terrible we didn't want to be late again. He said no I can't see you you have to go to the other location. I said no because of the traffic. I received the worst customer service I ever received in my life. I've been coming here for years. The man at the front desk is so rude and unprofessional this is the second time I've come here with an appointment and he had put someone ahead of my appointment while I've been on time and told me to deal with it. The women were trying to then make it work and he told them no. His attitude is very nasty. I then asked what times he had to reschedule and he would not help me. After today I will not ever be returning here because the attitude I received for a mistake that he made was absolutely disgusting. I made an appointment for myself and 3 friends for pedicures and one person was getting a manicure. They overbooked and so one person had to wait to get service. On top of that the technicians were rushing and speeding through the service. My pedicure took less than 25 minutes and then for the manicure she flooded the cuticles and the coats were too thick. I was getting a natural color so it's very forgiving and even then it just looked bad. After trying to explain this to her the technician got an attitude and jerked my hands around and accused me of ruining it. I did ruin some of the nails but they were badly painted to begin with. And they got messed up while I was trying to show her the imperfections. I ended up just getting a clear base coat and top coat. And even that was messed up and not smooth on all the nails. This place was dishonest and all about the money. I told the man I did not want get and asked if that was all they had and he said yes. They charge 15 dollars for nail polish on top of a 45 dollar pedicure. Ridiculous. I wax with my son and did not want to embarrass him. This place broke the yelp star chart! If I could give it ten stars I would. 1. It's clean 2.they're friendly 3. Extra treatment for calluses that works 4. The massage chairs all work 5. They give you a 10 minute foot and leg massage 6. They give you an added 5-10 min shoulder and neck massage when you are drying 7. Got a free pack lotion when we are done 8. Added a hot stone treatment which was fantastic 9. They had plenty of staff there working at least 8 10. They do facials too I enjoyed myself so much I added another 10 minute chair massage which was fantastic. Just when I thought it was over he put a warm towel on and did that for a few more minutes. Visiting my family in the woods and I just so happened to come across this nail salon looking for breakfast. I was greeted as soon as I walked in by the owners and they were really nice! I must say that this nail salon is SUPER CLEAN. They use disposable liners which is a super plus for me. I'm currently typing this while I get my pedicure because I'm impressed. Let's be honest, where can you go for an inexpensive mani & pedi that's clean and they're not rushing you. I'll definitely come here anytime I'm in the poconos. It's been almost 2 years since I've been here due to the pandemic. Everything is different. I didn't recognize any of the staff. Jason, the magic pedicurist I always went to, is not longer there. I needed to have dip nails removed and redone. The woman who did it nicked a cuticle with the dremel and had quite a time getting the bleeding to stop. She filed my cuticles and fingers as much as she did my nails, so all of them were sore and scabbing over the next day. The nails themselves were okay, but I feel lucky I didn't get a serious infection from all the damage to my cuticles. I'll never go back. read more

I had to explain several times that we wanted gel polish and spa manicure and she did not understand and kept getting upset. I just came back for college and have been on the hunt for a good nail salon in the Stroudsburg area and finally decided to try this place after a friend mentioned it. She goes here a lot and likes what they do. However she told me "Just make sure i watch what they are doing" which was a little nerve racking to hear BUT they did a good job! However, I would HIGHLY suggest getting an appointment because my friend and I called 30 minutes before asking if we could walk in. They said yes and when we got their we both sat immediately. But when an someone with an appointment came in 30 minuets early my friend was asked to wait. I understand the women made an appointment however, she was also 30 minuets early which should've been enough time for her to wait a few minutes for other nail technician or at least have my friend move. Also they are a little messy with the polish but it's never prefect at any salon. Overall, a the workers were polite and very efficient and the nails in the end looked good. I paid $25 for an acrylic fill with coffin and my friend paid $28 for an acrylic set almond. We both got regular polish instead of gel. Changing my review, tried this place again since Sophia did a great job at my design the first time. However a week after getting them done I had 2 nails crack on me. I went back give them another go, Sophia wasn't in that day so the one guy worked on my nails. He did the design great but again I have a cracked nail and now my gel polish is coming off. I can understand this happening weeks to a month after getting them done but not in a week. So looks like I'll be trying another salon. read more

I have patroned this business since they opened. I have had Cindy, the owner, Coco, Shirley and Kelly. All have done my nails at some point over the past 5 years. When the new shop opened across the street, I dutifully went there in support and referred many customers. This placed has CHANGED and not necessarily for the better. They are very busy, so an appointment is necessary. No problem there... however the Owner will haggle your appointment date and time. Why? I WANT to give you my business. I saw your book... it was OPEN. Why? I tip EXCEPTIONALLY well. Generally, 30%. I am polite and gracious. The past 2 times I made an appointment... I had to wait. Again, Why? That is why I made an appointment. I get it.... it's a business. However, when your Summer clients head back to the City.....it us, the FAITHFUL, REGULAR customer, who will sustain you. Today, another appointment... again... my tech wasn't ready. I scheduled a pedi, knowing this would happen. It will work out, but I would be lying if I said I wasn't looking for a new place. I went in to get a manicure. Worst manicure experience I ever had. First time and last time I will ever go there. Nail polish was applied with no base coat and then 3 coats were lathered on one after another without letting it dry in-between and a top coat all within 10 minutes. Then I was put in front of a small heater. I looked at the nail polish and it looked like it was melting off. I asked about it, she said you're too close to the heater, and nail polish takes longer to dry. I am aware of how this process goes. After fixing one nail, the problem remain the same. I walked out. Staff was very nice and friendly but I have a feeling I got a new person bc everyone kept checking on him, looking over to see how he was doing. The way he cleaned my toenails wasn't like other paces, only cleaned under my great toes and didn't seem like he trimmed up the dead skin/cuticles well. My polish doesn't look very professional. But he gave me a fabulous neck rub while my nails dried. Requested simple daisy design on my two toes (showed picture), and that looked so sloppy I asked to have it removed even though another person came to do it. Paid extra for the callous remover tx, 2 hours after, my feet feel very rough and Dry. Unfortunately, I won't be returning. read more

First time there, walked in friday at 6pm with my 9 year old daughter (her mani-pedi, me full set with SNS). They were packed. Took her right away, and I only waited about 10 minutes. Lucy was the best, super nice, gave me exactly what I wanted, nails came out beautiful. They gave my daughter a FULL mani pedi, not just a file and color change like some other places try to do with kids. They were very nice but i will not go back here. I got a pedicure to try them out and a 10 minute back massage. The back massage was awesome! The pedicure wasnt bad either only that they line the foot spa tub with a plastic liner and fill it up with water and soap...this is to avoid having to spray and clean the tubs with disinfectants later. I would have been ok with this IF THEY DID NOT REUSE THE LINERS! I felt GROSSED OUT when i realized my feet had been soaking in a plastic that was used with someone else. I saw them get an old plastic liner and line the tub when another customer came in for a pedicure. I was ready to jump up! NEVER AGAIN. read more

I am visiting from VA and went to this salon based on Yelp reviews. I am still currently in the salon drying my toes but couldn't wait to give them a glowing review!! My technician was CoCo. She was so gentle and kind. Not too pushy and would fix anything I didn't like (I'm really picky) without any fuss or sass. I tried the SNS powder for my fingernails for the first time and I don't think I will go back to anything else... she didn't make them too thick or clumpy and they are smooth and shiny!!! My appointment was at 4:30 and I sat in a chair at 4:30. I finished up a SNS powder dip manicure and a regular pedicure at 6pm. Not once did I feel rushed (even though the salon was PACKED) ((CoCo said she normally does about 10-12 people a day and there were 13 technicians working tonight)). Everything about this visit was wonderful. Great service, great pace, GREAT prices. $55 without a tip! I will definitely come back during our next visit. read more
