I can in for a mani/pedi and David absolutely devoured. Application was great, he was gentle, made sure the nails looked clean and did exactly what i requested. I got a hard gel mani set and the application process was seamless. I will be back! read more

I had a wonderful experience at Fancy Nails. The staff are welcoming and friendly and the salon is very cozy. The color choices were great and David the manicurist is amazing. He made my nails look beautiful! read more

I should have known when I went on a Sunday and it was dead. The place was also not cleanly there was dirt in every nook and cranny on the floors, dust everywhere. Old tables with old lights that I'm not sure if it was dirt or scratches. I was worried that I was going to get an infection. There was some slight unevenness on a few nails, then we get to the design and was not at all like the inspo picture. The more she kept adding the worse it was. I tried to be polite but I will definitely not be back. read more

Love my nails! Wendy is the one to ask for. Definitely my new go to spot. Affordable prices and neat and well shaped. I'm very picky after having one nail tech for so many years but Wendy did her thing! read more

I got a pedicure and the owner was so kind and professional! Great job! Definitely recommend!

I called to book an appointment and specifically asked for Kathy (Trang), whom I had been to 3 times prior and really liked. I am Type 1 diabetic and need to go to someone who is very careful and gentle, due to the risk. Woman who answered booked my appointment with Kathy. When I arrived I told them I have an appointment with Kathy. I was then told Kathy no longer worked there, that she was bringing her parents back from Vietnam and was moving to Philadelphia. She had left a week ago. I was very upset by the blatant dishonesty, but needed to get my pedicure done due to family coming into town. She said Kathy's mother-in-law would do it. My pedicure was mediocre. She was rough and her cat-like nails dug into my skin, which caused me to wince 2x. Finally I pulled my foot away and said OUCH! The polish job was not that good either. I was very upset about the entire experience. First from lying by omission. They should have told me over the phone that Kathy was no longer there. I probably would have booked it with someone else, but because they lied to get me in the door to make $42.00, I will never go back to Fancy Nails again and losing $42.00 x4 (4 appointments a year) = $168.00. I am a very loyal person and when I find someone I like, I stick by them. Fancy Nails lost a good customer! read more

Got the spa pedicure for $55 and it wasn't that great. Seemed rushed and minimal massage to the feet. Man and women were nice but much better places for the price. Felt like $20 pedicure I could've gotten from my niece. read more

if I could rate this place I would rate it a zero. I used to go here a year ago and a different lady did my nails. I loved her. she left and now there's a rude man and a rude woman who took over. they kept commenting on my nail length making fun of me for biting my nails. I was embarrassed. then the male nail tech did my nails and they looI horrible! they are uneven. all of my nails are different sizes. the color looks horrible. there's acrylic on my cuticles I'm never going back and I regret it! I cried on my way home! they're horrible !!!! read more

The lady that did my nails was very nice and I appreciated that she took me on such short notice. I had made a post earlier and I take it all back read more

I have been going here for about 9 years and I'm never dissapointed. Wendy is the best in the area, hands down. She's very friendly and my nails always come out fantastic. Three years ago, I moved to Arizona and I still get my nails done when I visit Pennsylvania. She's also amazing at doing eyebrow waxing. When I first moved to Arizona I was scared to go anywhere else. Wendy is just the best in every business she offers. You won't regret stopping in for her. :D read more

GET YOUR NAILS DONE WITH TROI ONLY. My friends and I made appointments to get our nails done over the weekend. We all started at the same time, and I got lucky enough to be with troi. She was so thorough and invested in her work. My friends had mediocre experiences to say the least. Their nail techs could not have been bothered to do the bare minimum that is expected with a $41 mani pedi. Troi checked in with me every step of the way and my nails have never looked better. I unfortunately don't live in the area but best believe anytime I go to PA I will be stopping by to visit Troi. My toes look so good I can't stop taking pictures of them. :) read more

owner is very very sweet and accommodating. however the work is not great; got a gel manicure x2 and both times completely peeled off in under two weeks read more

Ms.Wendy is the best when comes to eyebrows and nails. She slayed my eyebrows. I ain't never!!!! Have them look this good.

If you want your nails done properly do not come here! I complained about my nails and the tech/owner literally argued with me about it. She rushed my nails.. they are super thick and badly shaped! And the paint job is a nightmare! Worst nail place in the poconos super unprofessional!! Have to soak my nails off because I am to embarrassed to go to work with these! If I could give zero stars read more

Fancy Nails - Disgusting - Nail Salons Near Me - Tannersville, Pennsylvania

I brought myself and my four year old for a gel pedicure before we went on vacation. There was only one lady doing both of our pedicures which is fine. That has happened in the past and hasn't been a problem for me. My daughter's toes were done first. She had my daughter soak her toes in the JUST water and then she painted her toes. This counted as a full pedicure.... My daughter has gotten so much more attention at other places with exfoliating, lotion, clipping toenails, the whole ordeal as it should be because I'm paying for a pedicure. Once she was done with my daughter, it was my turn. My toes weren't clipped or shaped, I didn't get any calluses removed, and I did not get a leg massage that lasted longer than a minute. My toes turned out cute but I definitely expected more since I paid $100. When I went to pay, I was asked if I had cash for a tip. I gave her the cash and she counted it in front of me. (How rude.) Also, getting pedis with my daughter is a bonding experience. They had baby songs (without my permission!) playing on their giant TV so my daughter was mesmerized with the TV instead. I will not be returning. read more

My daughter and I had our eyebrows waxed by, I believe, the owner. The salon is immaculate. I have sensitive skin and sometimes break out after waxing but I was fine afterwards. The owner was friendly, kind and very professional. We won't hesitate to go back for a mani/pedi. Very satisfied. read more

i'm currently sitting in a chair here right now thinking about how i'm not coming back here. save your money.

Had a pedicure and my eye brows done 6/30/19. Service was great! My eyebrows came out amazing! Not to thin and with the perfect arch. Pedicure felt amazing. read more

DONT GO TO THIS PLACE!! It is horrible!!! The first time I went there everything was good and the nails were beautiful. So I went back two weeks later because I thought I finally found a good place. I experienced some breakage with the first set and that was okay because my nails were long. Nothing unusual there. So I got a fill in with two colors. And I got the same girl as last time. Which is the Caucasian big girl. She isn't very nice at all, always rude and on her phone. But this day it was like she didn't give a fuck. She just fucked yo my nails. It was streaky as hell and she cut my finger and barely acknowledged that. So I paid her gave her a tip and left even though I wasn't happy, I just dealt with it. Then two days later TWO nails broke! And I was like wtf?! So I was like do they all break easy? And I start breaking them off, realizing that the nails were weak and too thin. I wasn't even doing anything drastic just sitting around and y'all nails broke from hitting the couch. So now all my nails are broken and this bitch fucked up my nails and I'm livid. So i had no ride to go there, because my bf is a truck driver. So I had to wait a few days. I couldn't even call because my phone is off. So I had my bf call them today and tell them exactly what happened. And that I wanted them to redo my nails or give me a refund. And the Asian woman started talking a lot of crap, like "we have a policy and there is no warranty on the nails" then she had the nerve to say that nails break sometimes, it happens. Like, bitch what?! They broke after two fucking days. The costumer service is awful and the people working there are rude. Save yourself from the cheap equipment and idiotic employees. read more

Fancy Nails - Nail Salons Near Me - Tannersville, Pennsylvania

I've been to this salon twice, and have been disappointed with the service both times. The husband and wife talk to one another across the salon which creates a non-relaxing environment for the customers. Furthermore, I was kept waiting, for over 25 minutes, with my hands soaking in acetone. When someone finally did my nails, Jessica, did a horrific job. I got a full-set of SNS nails, and they look clumpy and uneven. Also my cuticles weren't taken care of properly, and the fake nail wasn't glued on completely. Overall, I've had a bad experience with this salon both of the times I've gone and would NOT recommend it to anyone. read more

Horrible service. Was a long term customer many years ago. The owner, Wendy, is very unprofessional and very rude. They do a half ass job. Not recommended. read more

Earlier today I visited fancy nails for a gel full set , gel pedicure , eyelash extension, and an eyebrow wax. I have read many fantastic reviews about this establishment and i must agree with most that Wendy, the owner was is absolutely the best at her job. however the nail technician who did my full set was quite sloppy and seemed to be in a hurry the entire time. he nearly sanded my nail to the point where it burned and he also cut the top of my index finger. when i informed him he had cut my finger after burning me once again with alcohol so i noticed the cut he replied with "no, that cut was there when i began" so i left it at that because wendy was no longer there and i didn't feel like arguing. but overall, i was satisfied. read more

Great place! We finished shopping and wanted a pedicure for three people and they started right away! The pedicure, manicure, and eyebrow waxing all came out great! read more

Horrible. I took my step daughter to get a mani and for myself, a full set acrylic with gel. My poor daughters nail polish only lasted 5 minutes, I'm not even exaggerating. The girl who did my nails was so sloppy and my gel polish chipped in a day. She clearly does not take pride in or like her job at all. I went and got my nails redone elsewhere two days later. read more

While my family skied at Camelback I decided to freshen up my manicure at what looked like a cute little place from the road. The praise stops there! This place was filthy. I could not see a clean surface anywhere! The tools even appeared to not have been sanitized. The polish bottles were caked with dried polish. The manicurist who did my nails clearly doesn't like her job! I tried to make small talk and got grunts in response. Very disappointing. read more

I was up visiting and wanted to get my nails done. I chose this place over the other one just down the street and that was a big mistake. I was a walk-in and I didn't mind having to wait but the girl that did my nails was so unprofessional. Texting on her phone and had this attitude like she didn't want to be there. The main reason they get one star from me is because my gel manicure, which was supposed to last at least 10 days, started chipping in 3. 3 DAYS! And the girl didn't even do a good job in the first place, there was polish on my skin and bubbles on two of the nails. Needless to say I wasted $25 and I will not be going back. Maybe you'll get the owner or someone better but please use caution before wasting money here. read more

Finally a salon with gr8 designs, gel colors and rhinestones!! I've been looking for a salon in the Poconos for years that works with crystals but no dice. Thomas gave me a Gorgeous Gel French Fill shaped perfectly with Bling. Wendy expertly created a fancy design with bling on my toes. I couldn't be happier. Clean and Quality describe Fancy Nails. **Make an appointment as there are only 2 technicians and the word is out how TALENTED they are. read more

I walked in and the place was completely empty. I asked for acrylics and they took 2 hours to do. When they were ready to dry, they tried to rush me out of the salon and my nails weren't dry. When I got into the car, I noticed that the person that did my nails chipped three nails and did a horrible job painting them. Never coming back to this place!! read more

Wendy is simply amazing at doing nails. She takes her time and makes sure they are done right. We drive 45 minutes every 2 weeks and it is well worth it! read more

I am not from the area and my family and I had just found this nail salon with the help of google...I have been to many different nail places where I live and I am constantly getting rushed and having an awful job done on my nails... but that was not the case at all here. The staff was so sweet and apologetic for having wait only five minutes not even, the salon was kept so clean and had a very comfortable feel to it. As for my nails it was probably the best manicure I have ever had done. Im sad I do not live near this nail salon because if I did I would be there every 2 weeks!!! read more

Horrible!! I have been going here for years, and Wendy has always done my nails and brows which always looked good, problem is it was only really her working alone and you would wait forever. She finally hires help and they have no idea what they are doing! There's only ever 2 workers and it takes forever to get anything done. Last couple times she makes me wait for the guy that has no idea what he is doing, while she just sits there or disappears. Just not into her business anymore! I went to another place after walking out disappointed with butched up nails, and I'm glad I did, there are new and exciting ways to do your nails with less damage to real nails, fancy nails needs to get with the times! read more

I was in Tannersville for a wedding last weekend. My daughter and I had gotten our nails done at home, and I had eyelash extensions done. Well, I woke up in the morning, in the hotel 100 miles from home, with my eyelashes falling apart, the morning of the wedding. My daughter's nails were a mess, so the hunt for a salon began. One of the hotel staff recommended Fancy Nails and Wendy took us right away. My daughter ended up needing gel tips, which were $15 dollars LESS than at home, and Wendy fixed my eyes....for $10!!! She even applied my eyeliner for me! She did a wonderful job! I was so appreciative of the service and her skill. Thank you! Sincerely, Terry & Nichole read more

Terrible service....the nail technician was asleep in the pedicure chairs when I arrived. After picking out my nail color, I sat down and said hello- no response or eye contact at all whatsoever. She was rough when doing my nails and only spoke when she asked me to pay before painting my nails. I emailed the establishment but never got a response. Please save your money and do not go here! read more

PLEASE READ MY STORY ABOUT THIS TERRIBLE ESTABLISHMENT: I called in the morning for an appointment with Wendy and when I arrived she was doing another client. I sat and waited for about 20 minutes when a guy said he would take me now. I showed him what I wanted my nails to look like shape and color and he proceeded with doing my nails. He starts shaping my nails and I realized he made them square and I wanted them round. When I told him this he replied "I should have told him earlier." and I said to him that I did prior to him starting my nails and he says "I forgot." Then he starts filing away at my nails trying to reshape them. After all of that he gets ready to paint my nails and I look at my free hand to see how the shape came out and I was pleased. So he's applying the polish and he only does one coat and he says "Two coats would be ratchet and it looks like a marshmallow." I just made a face because I actually love the color I get with two coats of that polish. At this point I was running late for work and had no time to fuss over another coat of polish. So as I was leaving I got in the car and looked at my nails my right hand was not the same as my left! The shape was square-oval,some nails were longer than the other, and some were just crooked due to a sloppy application of acrylic. I called immediately and I spoke to Wendy and I was assured at I could come in the next day to get my nails redone. I called the next morning to make sure I didn't have to wait and I could just come in and have what I needed done. Of course when I call the guy who did my nails answers and tells me Wendy went down the street to Dunkin Donuts and would be back shortly. I made my way down to the nail salon because I figured by that time she would be there. Of course she wasn't! I sat there for almost 45 minutes waiting on her and I wasn't greeted or asked anything in that timeframe. Finally I got up to ask the guy that did my nails when she would be in today and he said she would be back soon. I gave it another 15 minutes and finally she comes in and says nothing to me. The guy says something to her in their language and she says "No. I'm not doing them, she wants you to redo her nails that you did yesterday." I said "No, I want Wendy to do them." and Wendy walks in the back as if she didn't hear me and I stormed out. I called them twice to let them know how upset I was that I was treated this way and that I would be calling my credit card company, but I was sent to voicemail. This is an example of POOR customer service! I would never recommend anyone to get their nails or anything else done at this establishment. They don't have great shades of polish and most of them are old and settled. The place where they do eyebrows is not up to health standards and I will be contacting someone regarding that issue as well. GET YOUR SERVICES DONE HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK!! read more
