Been coming here 20 years. Won't go anywhere else. All of the tools are individually sanitized. The decor is gorgeous and inviting and gets updated, including brand new chairs, every few years. The staff is extremely kind and courteous and treats my family like royalty every time we come in. We are almost always walk-ins and they always accommodate us quickly. We get everything from basic polish changes to gel, dip, waxing, designs, you name it. We choose pedicures that include hot stone, paraffin and shoulder massages. It's like a total spa day. So don't bother making an appointment. I waited 40 minutes for mine and walked out. Saw others without get service right away. I appreciate that businesses need to make $ but choosing higher paying services over a scheduled appointment shows total lack of customer service. Seriously consider advertising your business as High end pedicures only. My $35 manicure was obviously not worthy. Snobby and loud. Owner yells across salon not a relaxing experience. So much competition. I walked into to another salon and was out in 30 minutes which was my goal at Nail Spa. My time is valuable but not valued at Nail Spa. read more

I am very disappointed in the service I received here this weekend. We used to be regulars, but moved away a few years ago. I made an appointment for my daughter and I to go with others from a wedding party. We checked in and got started. The owner, Tina, pulled the man off of my daughters pedicure and put him with someone else and said we didn't have an appointment so we had to wait. We clarified, but she just ignored us. The tech then wrapped our nails and once again forgot us. We sat with acetone on our nails for almost an hour. The nail tech that finally got around to my nails didn't listen to me and ended up making my nails to short. My daughter asked to get her eyebrows waxed and was told no. Just no, not we are too busy or it will be a wait. Just no We will not be back. read more

The Nail Spa does a great job. The one time I did not have the best experience, I went back up to the salon and talked about what happened and was taking care of. That was one time out of probably 100 visit I have had. I think it is difficult for a business owner to make things right when they are not aware of the issue until its posted online. Had my nails done here once and waxing multiple times. Nails wise I got a pink/white solar set. The lady who did the job was really good and they did a perfect job, one of the best solar nails I have gotten before. $50 for the nails, $45 refills, which is expensive if you ask me. Waxing is ok, reason for the 4 stars. I've only ever gotten upper lip and brows, but unless you ask, some of the girls don't go back with the tweezers on the lips to get the last little hairs out (I'm very specific about that kind of stuff). Which for 7/8 dollars you should get everything out... Other than that, had good experience with the salon! Like I said, a bit expensive for my taste, but if you don't mind paying, then the service will be great and of quality read more

I took my stepdaughter there and we both had nails done. She has acrylics and got a fill and I had a spa manicure. The staff was wonderful! Very inviting, very pleasant, and wonderfully social. The atmosphere is beautiful and you'd never guess how large the salon is when you see it from the street. The selection of polish colors and services available is excellent. The only downfall for me is the pricing. They are a little higher than the average local salon, and sadly, most people look at pricing first as they are willing to chance the possibility of a "not so perfect" job as opposed to paying more. The salon is quite close to my house though, and the convenience factor there is worth the extra dollars! We both had a great experience and we're happy with the end result, so we will definitely be returning! read more

We made a 5 person reservation and 1 of the 5 had to wait 15 minutes before her lady even started. Once they started to do our nails, they were harsh with the nail drill. They would tell us to move our hands in a in a rude manner. Not all of the lady's but 3 out of the 5 were this way. Once we proceeded to check out, nobody was at the checkout and we had to go up and ask for someone. Dishes were in the sink that were supposed to wash our hands in. read more

Nail Spa, not to be confused with Flower Mound Nail Spa, offers consistent high quality service. I recently moved to FM and have been trying out MANY different nail salons so this is an educated and experienced based review. Nail Spa is the only place I have been consistently impressed with my nails and as an added bonus I have been equally impressed with staff and atmosphere. The girl working the front desk is very sweet. She always remembers me as well as my daughter who I've only brought in a few times. She has a genuine interest in getting to know the clients. Vin is my favorite because he does great nails and our personalities click so we have great conversations but I've used 4-5 others and have never been disappointed! It is unfortunate that some people do not understand customer service. This is how my experience played out: I walked in and the girl at the desk asked what I wanted done and I told her a pedicure. She asked if I had been there before and I said no, she then explained their options. I decided on the $51 pedicure. You would think they would want to show me all their bells and whistles seeing as I was a new customer and had never been there before, right? WRONG. I sit down in the chair and two women come over carrying various things and say hello to me, one woman sits down and the other one stands over her. The woman who was standing starts pointing at my feet and says something to her in another language, she then stands there for a little bit longer and then walks away. The woman who is sitting starts my pedicure and after about 10 minutes the woman who was standing comes back over and says something to her in a different language and the girl who was sitting gets up and the other woman sits down. This happened probably 4 or 5 times during my pedicure. It obviously didn't take me long to figure out the woman doing my pedicure was being trained. After about 45 minutes (my pedicure was supposed to last 50 minutes and actually ended up taking about 80 minutes) the woman who was training her says "is everything ok, this is her first day" Gee, thanks I already figured that out! When I went to pay I told the girl at the desk that I understand that everyone needs to learn, but, someone should have told me that you were going to be training her on me because it really ruined the experience. She said she told the woman who did the training (who I believe was the owner or manager) that it was my first time here and she needed to put me with someone with experience and she did not listen. I told her that she lost me as a customer and my Mom who was on her way to meet me there but decided to turn around after I told her what was happening. So basically I paid full price for someone to conduct a training session on me. Go somewhere else. read more

This is by far the nicest place I've found since moving to Texas a couple of years ago. I have tried at least 5 different places in Flower Mound and I'm so happy I finally found one I'm going to stick with from now on. They are extremely inviting and friendly. The atmosphere is definitely worth the few extra bucks compared to some places. I've always been helped right away without having to wait. This place is huge and very well staffed. So far I have had Vin, Thu, and I can't remember the others name, but they've all done such a wonderful job. I love that I can just sit back, watch tv, and I know that my nails will come out perfect. read more

Poor service. I waited for 15 mins and no one even bothered to talk. Why would I go again to this place?

I was visiting Dallas on May 11th and due to COVID I needed a manicure and pedicure in the worse way possible. I had a so-so pedicure, a good eyebrow wax, and terrible tips with powder on my nails. The young woman that started on my nails was nice but clearly was not comfortable doing nails, I was the last customer, after one of the men finished his customer he came over and rudely took over handling my hands very fast and rough dipping the nails in the powder, it was awful the young lady kept apologizing and he kept asking me what's wrong and then would say it's okay like he was aggravated. He insulted me several times by saying your skin is thin and you need to learn how to relax. He made a mess out of the powder on my nails and was so sloppy with the setting liquid, after he did that he got up quickly and slammed the chair into the desk and walked away. The powder was caked under my nails and all around my nails on my skin. The young lady finished my nails that looked horrible, she didn't even let me wash my hands, she finished abruptly with product all over my hands, but despite that I left a $30 tip because I felt so bad for her and bad that they had to stay late (30 minutes) to finish my nails. The take away is I will be visiting my son often in Dallas but will never step foot in this business again, be aware the service is marginal and one of the men has aggressive behavior. I came in today for a set of solar nails and a polish change on my toes. The girl I had did an OK job but the bill was $60: $45 for solar and $15 for a polish change. Pricey for what it was. Also, I got this place confused with Flower Mound Nail Spa, which is apparently a different place even though both salons are on Long Prairie Rd. I had unknowingly been on the website for the other salon and noticed it advertised 10% off for new customers. I was also expecting the other salon's prices, so was a bit taken aback at the high bill. I mentioned this at checkout and both the boss and the nail tech acted extremely offended that I would ask for a discount and were adamant that they have never offered such a thing, making me feel like they were questioning my integrity. When we finally figured out I had been on Flower Mound Nail Spa's website, they didn't offer to do anything to rectify the confusion or make sure I was happy when I left. The work was OK but I will go elsewhere for future services. Way too pricey and low in the customer service department. read more

I have been going here and have learned that you need to pick one you like and stick with her - in my case...Kathy! I jdid not have an appointment today (my fault) and had Lisa. I can honestly say she was the rudest manicurist I have ever experienced. Grabbing my fingers, twisting them....and then when doing a solar fill (which is an absolute luxury for me), gave me such little white! I made it clear I need nails short due to my work - and had to ask several more times (I think she realized how she'd shorted me on the white and was trying to avoid taking anymore). The lady next to me came in, due to chipped nails she had had done just yesterday - Lisa was also her manicurist. She too said she had the same experience with her. Lisa never said hello, introduced herself, and spoke only to the nail man next to her in Vietnamese. I like Nail Spa - but will definitely only use Kathy if I return...she's friendly, gives me exactly what I want...and last time I checked, I'm the customer who's paying and that's how it works. read more

For nearly years I referred everyone I know to this nail salon, the owner Tina is always trying to make sure that services are done correctly. The last few years the level of service started to lag and really depends on who you get. I have had some sloppy acrylics, sloppy gels where they started to lift only after a few days and a horrific eyebrow wax experience. However, usual the next time it is better. Went in today for pedicure and and a gel mani pedicure for my daughter. $51 just for the kids express gel pedicure only? REALLY? I was good with the $30 for the gel manicure and the $5 for the designs, but who on earth would pay $51 for a KIDS express gel pedicure? When I questioned the charge which appeared to be 2 separate pedicures.....1) Kids Pedicure w/liner $21 and 2) Gel w/Kids Pedicure express $30, you would think they thought I was crazy? I recall paying about $60 for both, I was told this is the way it has always been.... $81 for a kids express GEL mani/pedi!!! Sorry Tina, your salon has got just way too pricey for me. I've been using Nail Spa for years, and have always considered them to be top notch. Several weeks ago I went in to have my NexGen nails done. I decided to have an ombré done for my vacation beginning the next day. I showed my nail tech a photo of what I was wanting, he took a good look, and then began. After dipping my left hand, he went back and removed and redid a few fingers. I was starting to feel like I was his guinea pig. He gave me a couple excuses for why it wasn't so easy. But I kept quiet as I thought he would ensure it was done right. When he moved onto my right hand, he completely changed his technique and now those fingers didn't quite match the look of the left hand. Close, but different. Now I really felt like a guinea pig! When all was said and done, he seemed frustrated and I had two hands that didnt quite match and my thumbs were the worst. They were very noticeably different. I was so disappointed. I tried to talk myself out of making a deal out of it, but after paying $116 total for my nails, pedicure, and tip, I decided I should walk out pleased with what I paid for. I asked the owner to step aside and look at my thumb nails, the worst of them all. I asked to just have those two redone. She then began to tell me that was what an ombré looked like and it would have obvious variations, despite all the photos I had found online showing otherwise. So I ask again to just have the two nails redone. She says "it's ok!" So I ask again, and again she says "it's ok!" Clearly she had no interest in doing anything. At that point I realized they weren't going to fix the bad job they did on me, so I decided to just leave. I don't expect perfection, and I have no problem with something needing to be repaired to make it better. What I don't have patience for though is when a business absolutely refuses to rectify an obvious problem they created, especially something so simple. They lost a long time customer that day, as well as my family and friends that saw my botched nails. read more
