Let's start with the majors: it's clean, sanitized, and the products they use last a long time. I live close to the nail place and was looking to change because the nail shop by Andy's was charging way to much money. Wendy and the team at the nail place are so caring and really love making the customer feel like they're home. They remember everyone I've ever brought with me for a service and go above and beyond to make sure my Pinterest nail game is on point. My only concern is that I've said to many nice things now and it sounds too fluffy. I can't help it! I had my first visit at The Nail Place in Coppell last night based off of a reference from a good friend of mine whose nails always look very nice. When I called to make an appointment, I was able to get in same day. Wendy, the owner did my powder dip manicure and Kelly did my pedicure that I fought from falling asleep while she was massaging my feet and legs! So relaxing. The salon is a no-fuss, get straight to it kind of place and that's ok with me. All the ladies working last night were joyful and very friendly with each other and all the customers. Even the ladies that were getting their nails done were interacting with other customers. A real sense of community. I love how everything came out and made my 2nd appointment before I left. ***MAKE AN APPOINTMENT*** These ladies are working non-stop, back to back clients so you may have to wait longer than you want if you just walk-in. I honestly only have good things to say about this place! Every time I come here the staff greets me and offers me a drink, and even if you have to wait, it is well worth it! I've noticed that they take very great care in doing your nails. My pedicure experience was amazing and every time I get dip nails they last for 1.5-2 months without any chipping. read more

Please find out in advance the cost of the services being provided. I made the mistake of not asking in advance because I thought the price would be the same as three weeks prior...not so. Each time I have visited this establishment the prices have been different. When you question at checkout, Wendy, the owner always has an answer that does not make sense. I visited today, but this will be my last visit. Not consistent with their pricing. They also need to make the waxing more sanitized. They keep dipping the stick in the same container for each customer. I do not recommend this establishment. read more

I love love love this shop all of the ladies and 1 gentleman are courteous, caring and professional The clients are all long time custmers. I promise you try this shop1 time you will be sold. Racist establishment. Did not greet me or even offer to service me. When i asked for service was told to just sit and wait. A non-Black woman walked in with her children was welcomed warmly and I was told can I just wait a bit. When I said I'm leaving the response was oh I didn't do powder nails that's why I responded well she's getting powder nails too and she just stared at me. My regular place in Lewisville was booked, and I was in this area with a friend. I called to see if they had room for a pedicure for me and a manicure for my friend. The lady asked if we could come in now like they had room. When we came in they started working on the mani for my friend, and I sat in the chair for 35 minutes (they didn't even run the water for my feet to soak) before someone tried to start my pedicure. Naturally, my friend only had about 10-15 min left so I told them that I didn't want it anymore. What a joke. Only positive things were they offered water and they use the disposable covers. The place isn't clean and the chairs are really old and uncomfortable. All of their dip powders are unorganized (in a plastic bin on the floor) so they have to dig to find the color you want. I don't understand how they have regular customers? Do people not realize there are better nail salons out there?‍ read more

This place is new and let's say my first visit and will be my last visit. Poor customer service and the nail techs need more training. The tech in my nails wanted to use the drill to remove my dip nails, and when I asked to remove by soaking she stormed off with an attitude. This is very unacceptable and customers should not get this type of treatment. After 12 minutes she came back a bling hot bowl of water, cotton and acetone in the bag to soak my nails. To be fair I think she made the water very hot intentionally. In addition to constantly filing my cuticles. Kind of don't want to share my review because I don't want to share my nail tech Mickey :) but that is who does my French Dip Nails and they're perfect to me and I always admire it even after a month with them on. The dip powder lasts about 4-5 weeks for me and I am a healthcare worker that washes hands a lot. Love this place, owner and workers make you feel comfortable and always remember names and faces. Very satisfied with my nails. Usually, I am very hard to be pleased and always ended up complaining to my husband after every visit to most of the nail salons I have been to. He was surprised to hear how satisfied I was with this Salon. Kelli did a very good job in giving me a great pedicure. I hardly ever had such a long session, and she did for an hour. I really like this place. The staff is very friendly and fast. The shop is clean and easily accessible from Denton Tap. Every pedicure station features a full massage chair and they have the standard magazines to choose from while you wait. Pricing is fairly standard - $20 for full pedicure. For my daughter to get her nails and toenails painted was $10. I have been solo and also with my daughter, who is 5. The staff was great with her. I definitely recommend this place. read more

I imagine now with this COVID-19 pandemic that business is slow. It's a scary time. Let's learn from this and be better humans. I would like the owners and workers at Nail Place to not ever take a Customer for granted and to never discriminate against anyone. I have been a good Customer for over 3 years but, I will never go back to Nail Place. Two weeks ago I went in and it was busy. I was told to go to a chair and wait. No problem. After 20 minutes, the tech was about to start on my pedi when a mother/daughter came in with no appointment. They got service immediately while I sat there in the chair and waited 20 more minutes without my feet soaking. Just sitting there. I felt so humiliated. I can't explain why I didn't get up and leave. But, I will no longer be disrespected. I will go to an independent nail tech at a salon suite. Nail Place - treat everyone like you want to be treated! Lady was super rough on my toes and got cuts everywhere! She told me they were already dry but I kept my sandals on for a good while but when I put my shoes back on they were not at all dry and now the paint is messed up. Never again. They took way too long too! read more

This is a great place where they do wonderful pedicures and good NexGen nail powder. I've just gotten my nails done by Wendy, the lady in the pictures, and she is very nice and efficient. Cindy is excellent because she has never made my fingernails ache or bleed--something that seems to happen too frequently at some of these places. I get compliments on my nails frequently. As friendly as any other nail place can be. They talked to each other the whole time, which was fine because I just wanted the relaxation. I was there for a good hour with my pedicure. The lady did a great job with the massage and the polish and everything in between. The only thing that I can complain about is the look of the place. It's not elegant or nice or luxurious in any way. They have the same fluorescent lighting as Walmart. And I'm really surprised that this place is in Coppell which has nothing but beautiful shops, restaurants and stores. It's too skuzzy for Coppell. read more

I made my usual appointment for my pedicure, but unfortunately this Salon takes "Walk-ins" fully knowing they will have a confirmed appointment in about 15 minutes. After 7 years of being loyal to "Q", I came in for my pedicure, and AGAIN, she was just drying someones feet, which meant another 20 or more minutes I would have to wait. I rushed there from work to be on time. I decided to go home and then call back to see if she was ready for me. She did not answer her phone. This was at 6:20pm. At 7:40 pm she was upset with me, apologized for not answering her phone, but didn't understand why I didn't want to wait. My time too is precious. She told me you have to wait in doctors offices or dentists, what's the problem waiting for her? I was stunned!!! She isn't a doctor, nor is she a dentist, and in the next mouthful she told me I should see someone else. No problem Q, nail salons all over Coppell!!! As of now you have just lost another 4 clients after I told them what happened. Word of mouth...very powerful!!! I would NOT recommend this nail spa. read more
