He looked like he didn't have much experience since he was making several mistakes while doing my nails. lHe even apologize saying it's been too long since he doesn't do it. I showed him the photo of the nails finish I wanted, and he said he could not do that. My nails don't look right, but I just wanted to leave. I will not recommend this place at all. I wanted to like this place so badly. It's right by my work, apartment and grocery store but I've been here three times now and keep getting disappointed. The first time was great got a fill and gel on top and everything was basically perfect. But the second and third time were subpar. Over filled cuticles, uneven shaping, making me bleed, French tip lines that are no where near straight, asking for acrylic and getting dip, being told I can only get one color for my French tips, inconsistent pricing and poor art work. I'm very sad I'll have to be looking for a new salon because the price was fairly good for the service provided. read more

I hate to write this review. I wanted to have a positive experience, but I don't think it can be ignored. Let me start by saying I really enjoyed the company of Sandy, Vincent, and another gentleman there. They were very pleasant and fun, but I ended up having to return and get everything redone. Thankfully Sandy was there and she took her time trying to make it right (she did not originally do my nails - only fixed them). One of the men did say they would have to charge me again. I said I would prefer to have them removed and receive my money back, so they didn't end up charging me. Opportunities for improvement include: - asked/paid for a mani, but only the nails were done (no cuticle work or anything else), artificial tip was not glued in the middle, leaving a ~3 mm gap between my nail and the tip; - extremely thick and uneven gel, even when I asked for thin; left my fingers/cuticles a mess with stain/dried skin; - still have rough toes/feet; - several cuts behind my cuticles and at the tips of my fingers. - Charged A LOT and tipped well, so it was shocking that they would try and charge me again. read more

I've been going here since I was in highschool and it used to be such a good nail place. I came back from college on winter break and needed a full set and a pedi before New Years. My pedi was done pretty well but I don't think it was worth 50$ for what treatment I was given. It lasted about 40 mins with a handful of services. I know other nail salons would do much more for that price. The guy doing my pedicure was amazing and extremely nice. My full set though.... This is when it got horrible. I asked for medium long, and she cut them so short and I asked her to go longer after cutting the first nail and she proceeded to cut the rest shorter??? I hate short nails so I immediately wanted to take them off as soon as she finished. Then she put on the acrylic so miss shaped and thick she had to file for 30 mins to attempt to get coffin shape. My nails aren't even close to coffin, they're short and rectangular... not to mention she CUT me about three times trying to fix my nails. This place used to be amazing, but now the prices went up and it's definitely not worth it anymore. The staff is so nice but the service isn't what it used to be. read more

Why is it so hard? A basic pedicure and manicure. Where do I start? Butchered with the cuticle trimmer, horrible horrible "massage" which was basically running finger tips up and down arm/leg. Technician dropped my purse on my toe while handing it to me (thank you, but it wasn't to be nice it was to rush me out). Instead of removing polish and starting over the attempt was made to cover it up which resulted in a bumpy unfinished job. I asked for the polish to be removed and started fresh and "tina" walks away to start on new customer. When asked if all was okay I said no and explained. Another technician came to the rescue while working on her own client. The 2 star review cones from a decent manicure. I opted out of paint which IMO makes the technicians job easier. read more

I was very disappointed. I walked in after seeing this place had 4.5 stars on another site. There was no wait. The service may depend on who does your mani/pedi. I was a first time customer and a walk-in. I couldn't tell you who did my fingers or toes. I can tell you that I am very disappointed. See pics. The work was very sloppy and there are so many coats that I am sure the polish will never dry. My nails have bubbles, jagged edges, color all over my cuticles and the skin around my nails. Expect to be asked repeatedly to upgrade the services you request. When I declined I was asked "why?" The massage with the mani and pedi was decent. The chairs need to be updated. HORRIBLE!!! i used to go there in 2017 and it was great and i went back today. I used to bite my nails i told her i wanted to keep the length becase i used to bite them. Well she cut one all the way down and very uneven them offered to cut the rest so they'd be super short. The actual polish was horrible too. She cut me on several fingers. Kim no longer works here and the place has gone downhill. When I called to book an appointment with her they told me she was on vacation. Then I called back a week later to ask when she would return and that's when they finally confessed that she no longer works here. I was so disappointed. I asked if Vin could do my nails. They said yes but when I arrived for my appt time, he was already busy with someone else's nails. I went ahead and got a polish change on my toes. But the nail tech kept bugging me and pressuring me THE WHOLE TIME he did my toes to let him do my nails. However I said no. The guy did a TERRIBLE job on my toes. So glad I stuck to my guns and refused to let him do my nails. They lied about Kim "being on vacation" and they lied to me saying Vin was available to do my nails and he wasn't. I will NOT return. Worst ever! No one said a word to me. Very rough, both manicure and pedicure. Used rotary to remove the powder on my nails, no acetone, just ground down my finger nails. One of the guys who has been there for years and I knew well did my pedicure but kept trying to touch me inappropriately. I love this place and the people who work there. Ask for Kevin to do your pedicure and Vin to do your nails. No one else is allowed to touch me. I have been getting solar nails from Vin for over 2 years now and can go at least 3 weeks without a fill because he does such an amazing job. Everyone there loves my 2 kids and always gets them a juice box. Vin has even painted my daughter's toe nails and not let me pay him for it. They will not let you leave until you are happy with your nails/pedi. Highly recommend. read more

Previously left this place an awesome review (see below) but today I had the absolute worst pedicure I've ever had. A bald guy I've never seen in there did mine and it was awful. Just recently had knee surgery and had to tell him 4-5times to stay away from the scar and each time he would say yes and then continue to go right over it whether it be with the sea salt scrub or towel. He also overflowed the foot bath and water was all over the floor. My legs are so greasy walking out of there it's gross. Surprised my toes are not bloody with the way he was filling my toe nails he was also filling the top of my other toes. Ouch. If you happen to get a bald man, run out and don't look back. Love this place! The people are awesome, so gentle and do a great job. Every time I go in I think I should have made an appointment with who I had last time because they did so good, but I never do and it always turns out fine! I always leave thinking "oh that was he best pedicure I've had yet!" I have yet to have anyone that is anything less than fabulous! Place is also very clean and has comfy seats. :) read more

I came across this place while checking out a wedding venue in the area. The service is amazing and was extremely surprised at the package for the basic pedicure which was about $25. If I lived in the area I would definitely go again. They make everyone feel welcomed, offer drinks, have regulars and surprising have a great deal of men attending. I'm so disappointed I wasted my time here. My pedicure was awful. I ordered the callus removal pedicure for $28. With regards to my calluses all he did was file them, not remove them. I am going to have to go home now and do my own callus removal. Also, on the menu it says you get an 8 min massage. My massage was 4 min long and exfoliation possibly lasted 30 sec for both legs. There is nail polish bleeding off my toe nails, and the cuticles are sub par. I also got an eyebrow wax done. I had to hold my breath the entire time because the ladies breath was putrid. I will never be coming back here. Take my advise on this one! read more

I've been getting my gel Manis and "Classic" Pedis done here for three years now and had loved it each time. The gel nails last 3-4 weeks easy, and you can't beat that! They serve water, soda and even wine while you get your nails done..a bit on the more expensive side but you get what you pay for! Highly recommended to all! read more

I HIGHLY recommend this place. I have such a HARD time finding a nail salon that doesn't treat you like you are the highest nuisance ever. I had two technicians split their time on my nails and I was more than happy with both of them. They actually talked to me and made jokes and didn't just talk in another language the entire time with their coworkers the whole time. My friend and I decided to get pedicures one afternoon while in Flower Mound and I had heard good things about Delux. This had to be the worst pedicures we have ever had. I was charged $5 extra to remove my gel topcoat, something I never pay extra for. Both of us had the same results-- uneven nails, untrimmed cuticles, messy polish application, and I was not given the gel topcoat I asked for. In fact, I was not given ANY topcoat at all, even after I asked. Maybe it depends on who you have but for both of us to have such poor results tells me they need better trained techs overall. I will stick to my regular place in Carrollton, Nails by Solar. read more
