My technician, Tia, started my appointment right on time. She was quiet but checked in with me to make sure she understood what I wanted. While the service itself wasn't bad, there wasn't anything that stood out. At other salons I've visited, the experience typically ends with small finishing touches--like applying lotion or a brief hand massage--but this service felt very basic. I still tipped Tia 20% because Honey worked me into the schedule during what would have been Tia's break, and I appreciated that accommodation. Unfortunately, once I got home and removed my contacts so I could see my nails more clearly, I noticed several details that became more apparent over the next few days. It appeared the polish wasn't properly sealed, and one nail had missing polish along the side before I ever left the salon. Since my nails were completely dry when I departed, I believe those issues should have been caught before the service was finished. For me, the overall experience wasn't worth the drive or the price I paid. The video of my nails tells the story better than this caption ever could. That said, based on my interaction with Honey, I genuinely believe booking with her could result in a different experience. She made a great first impression, and if I were to return, I would specifically request an appointment with her.

My first time at Jade, I arrived moments before closing and was greeted by two very sweet ladies. Nancy gave me great service and took her time on my feet. Anyone can put paint on a nail but I feel like here they actually care about your feet. My massage was amazing, not the typical quick rub down I get everywhere else. My nails and pedicures always come out just the way I want them to, the staff is always super friendly & it's super close to my house! The lady working on me had no gloves on or a mask and didn't really ask me anything, just started. She didn't ask what pedicure I wanted until 20 mins in and instead of making the tray look nice she just brought everything over in its packaging and was opening it all and then throwing the trash in the water my feet were soaking in. My mani was fast, I was with my sister and we were both done in 30 mins. But my pedicure took almost and hour and a half. She had no routine down. I did gel and she would start and then stop and walk off. Come back and do whatever else next. At one point she rubbed a lemon on my foot and then threw it in the water. Her thumb nail was so long that she would scrape polish off of the sides of my nail and it hurt like hell. She filed my nails down so hard that my skin is raw on the top of it. My nails are all crooked and the massage I was supposed to receive she dumped oil on me and smacked on lotion on 1 foot and rubbed me for 2 mins and then forgot about the other foot. I guess the salon ran out of hot towels because she came back with one and hot wrapped my one foot and then dry rubbed my other foot with a towel from the bottom of her cart. I'm sorry this is so long but I really don't want anyone else to go through this. When we went to pay I spoke up and asked for a discount, explained what happened and he got down and checked my feet. I told him I didn't even know if I had a top coat on but I have a light at home and can fix it. The best he could do was wave the price of my gel on my toes which I get but I'm also a little annoyed he couldn't comp the whole pedicure.

At the end I was crying because I told her it wasn't what I wanted, and she just kept saying we booked for a polish change, she had another customer waiting (like that was my fault), that a full set would've taken an hour, and that she only had us down for 30min polish change. Also, why would I walk into the nail salon with short nails wanting to get them painted lol, I can do that at home. I knew she was just making excuses. My boyfriend doesn't even know what a polish change is!! I don't even know what that is!? When I went back the next day to get them fixed, she still kept saying it was my boyfriend's fault, even though she told him on the phone we could tell her what we wanted there.
