I am new to the area and this is the second nail salon I have been to. I am super stoked this salon is right by my house and right next to Kroger! 5 stars for convenience!! I called before I came because it was Sunday and I wanted to make sure I wouldn't have wait long. The lady on the phone said to come now she could get me right in. So I came right over - just a mile - and sure enough they got me with someone right away. I had Vicky. She was very polite and made sure she was clear on my request with just a white tip on my fourth finger with sparkles. Vicky got just a tad aggressive with the cuticle trimmers (tiny bit of blood on two Nail beds) but really did a super nice job with getting off old gel and filing and everything. They have all the greatest colors and clean equipment and the salon was clean and very pretty with chandeliers and marble counters. I brought in my Yeti with iced tea and perhaps that is why she didn't offer me anything to drink but wine would have been really cool and I saw other people enjoying a glass while having manis and/or pedis. read more

They go way too fast and rush. They don't paint down on the sides of your nails and cut you. Pedicure was awesome and Triston did mine. Same nail tech did my wax and left wax on my face. She also had someone waiting so she rushed really bad. I'll not let her do my nails or wax again. read more

When I told her I wanted a design as well she seemed very annoyed. Im not surprised that there was no one wait because that was by far the worst nail experience i ever had. I just left here without getting 75% of my services done. I tried to get a full arm wax and I don't think the lady had ever done a wax before. She had to keep asking me where the hair on my arm was, then blamed my dark skin for the hair not coming off. The wax was so funny like water it barely held onto the hair. It took her 25 minutes just to do one arm. There was so much wax left over on my arm and instead of rubbing a wax remover solution, she rubbed a mixture that looked like alcohol and lotion and it burned my skin. I am now leaving with one arm done, that is still covered in wax. Oh, they also charged me for both full arm wax, even though I only got one. Negative stars. YIKES!! I stopped in here one afternoon to get a dip mani. I left with dip that looked three weeks grown out and super thick. On the way home one cracked. After I cooked dinner the top of all tips were cracked. I had to go somewhere else and get them redone two days later. Pedicure was fine. read more

I have been going here for quite some time now but the past 4 times I have gone they have severely cut my cuticles and my fingers. They seem to be in a rush and don't bother to slow down and ensure that they are not mutilating my nails and nail beds. It's gotten to the point that when I go in, I am nervous and anxious the entire time I am getting my nails done because I am scared of the next time they will grind my nail too thin or slice the sides on my fingers with their nail file. I am definitely going somewhere else from now on. The photo is from my most recent visit and as you can see my cuticles are red and scabbed over from being cut. This Salon has raised the bar ! They have set up all the Precautions to protect their Customers from Covo19. They placed plexiglass between Customers on the Pedi-chairs . They always do so great with my nails. I have very sensitive skin but they are always super gentle and make getting a manicure enjoyable which is not easy for me. Today we had a little miscommunication (I wanted gel and they did a regular manicure). As soon as I mentioned that wasn't right, they redid the manicure and were so nice about it. The only suggestion I have is to make an appointment. The last few times we have tried to walk in it's been quite a wait. Well worth it every time though, this is the only place I'll go to get my nails done! read more

I recently went here and had my nails done by Tony. He did my nails exactly as I asked, and they turned out great. My only complaint is that I was accidentally knicked by the removal tool. They were $40 for dip nails, which is pretty average, although they do normally charge an extra $5 for the coffin shape. Definitely the best salon in the area, and would go here again. read more

I wanted to change my review that I had written a while back. Shortly after I had written that review found out some information from one of the owners employee that had worked at the first salon she owned and the one that I had my Mother's wedding ring in when my purse fell over onto the floor when my water spilled all over the floor. I had taken off my Mother's wedding ring while getting my nails done and put it into my purse. Then I knock over my water and my purse fell onto the floor and spilled out lipstick and keys. I pick everything up and thought I had pick up everything. The next day I went to get my ring to put it on and it was not in my purse immediately called the Salon Owen answered the phone I asked her if anyone had found my Mother's wedding She said No wedding ring and just hung up the phone on me. I did take pictures in to post but was told she threw them into the trash. I really appreciate the kindness of someone that works for her being honest with me. I hope that she is haunted daily knowing that She has a ring that belong to someone's Mother that had pass away and Me being her daughter my father gave me the wedding ring to cherish. Hopefully every day she looks in the mirror at herself she see me and my Mother looking at her soul. Want to make this update for a long time !! After I found out the truth I was not able to even look at that person ever again. The lady is the owner of two Salons. This is something that is the most dishonest in justice to my Mother and she passed at 49 from cancer. When I wore it I felt close to my Mother like she was with me in my heart. My wife Tracy and I love coming here. The staff always knows who we are and seems to know nearly all their customers. Very clean and soothing environment and when you get a massage with your service , either hands, feel or back, it's the real deal and they spend plenty of time and pay lots of attention. I tried this place 2 years ago when we first moved to Argyle and didn't have a good experience so kept going to my normal place in Flower Mound. My friend goes here and wanted to meet there for mani/pedis with our girls, so I gave it another shot. Still awful. My nails were cut at a diagonal and so weirdly shaped that I was literally filing them with my own nail file while I was waiting for my toes to dry. The lady asked if it was ok and I said no, to look at them. The polish was jacked up and they were cut at angles! She said it looked ok to her and walked away. Don't waste your money here. read more

For as fancy as this place looks inside, they sure do a sh*tty job with nails. It's no wonder they serve wine. They do it so you don't realize how f*cked up your nails are until you get home sober. Went here with a friend & I had requested for a "french tip ombre." Katie apparently was the only gal in the establishment who specialized in ombre nails so the gal in the front linked up with her. As she began setting up, we had a pleasant conversation. What she used for my nails were: a make up brush of some sort, white powder, pink powder and some type of coat calling it "dip." I have never had the dip done before so it was all new to me. I was always used to Shellac nails. As she was working on my nails, I noticed she was all over the place working on both hands at the same time & in different nail order. Not sure if there is such a thing, but I'm so used to "pinky to thumb" or "thumb to pinky." She did layers & layers of the 3 because I kept asking her fix what I thought needed fixing. After all of my little requests to fix my nails, I felt her vibe change. She was irritated & began speaking to her colleagues in her language & just stopped having a conversation with me. Her colleague stated to her to fix what she had done because she too knew it was not the design I wanted. At this point, I just wanted her to finish and get my nails over with. The outcome was NOT cute at all!!! My friend like it, but it was not the design I was looking for. By the way it looked, I should have just requested for the regular french tip design. I would not go back here to get my nails done ever again. Sorry Katie! I hate to say it but more practice makes perfect. Also, I would like to apologize to my friend because she treated me. They have nice decor here but don't let that fool you. The three nail techs I dealt with don't give a damn you're there. None of them tried to make conversation but they spoke with each other the entire time. I had on SNS dip powder and they took it off inappropriately, filing it down to my nail, THEN soaking it in acetone, and THEN filing again (very roughly I might add). The tech who was filing kept looking away to chat with the other tech, and it would knick my skin. On top of that, one of the nail techs tried to peel the polish off that wouldn't come up with the acetone. Such a bad practice! I left the salon with nails like sheets of paper, rough around the edges, and poorly applied polish. Would NEVER recommend. read more

Worst pedicure and manicure I have EVER received. Burned my skin with the hot stone. Cut my finger during the manicure and it did not stop bleeding. Neck massage was extremely painful on both my sister and I. Over charged for services I did not ask for. Manager tried to say that our service slip was a different one than we handed him. Came here on a weekend trip to visit a GF. Decided to pamper ourselves with the aloe Mani/pedi with gel manicure. First the GREAT: Tim did my pedicure and did an amazing job. By far the best foot massage of my life. He took his time and did everything in a superior fashion. The manicure, however, was awful. Cindy did a real half-you-know-what job leaving the cuticle edge of my polish totally ragged. Took pictures of it while still in the salon. In the end it peeled off in a week. I usually do my own gels and do a much better job that lasts at least 2 weeks. The aloe/massage component of the Mani was also inferior to the awesomeness that was Tim, and even compared to my friend's manicurist. I ended up with some weird sort of, jostling neck massage (?). I'm pretty annoyed given this place is NOT cheap. But at least I was able to head back to Denver fully moisturized! read more

Tyron did not soak my old product off as all the other technicians have done previously. He used the automatic file. It was not a good experience --painful-- and my nails do not look good. I asked for dipped nails with a layer of glitter dip on top. No tips or fancy designs. The nail tech put way too much dip on and failed to buff/file it down after I asked multiple times. Most of my nails are filed unevenly even after I asked her to fix them more than once. Lots of dip residue was set and left under my nails no asked her to buff it out, and there was still a lot left. Then at the end another nail tech had her put a gel finishing coat over the dip leaving it even thicker and more uneven. Overall, a very unpleasant experience, and I do not feel that anyone "managing" tried to help the nail tech communicate to fix the issue. read more

Went for a simple manicure although I asked for the special one. Sat me down & then it got busy. He left every few minutes to go check someone in. Then came back said I could only get basic manicure, told me to wash off my hands and left. I don't get polish just buff so it was simple anyway. My cuticle was literally bleeding and I went back to my seat. After about 15 minutes I just got up, paid & left. I won't go back. If you take a customer then do the service. People who only get manicures are frowned upon because it's not as expensive. There are too many places around to be treated poorly. read more

Although they have a lovely atmosphere... the results of my manicure and pedicure are horrendous. When I spend 80$ for a manicure and pedicure it better be top notch. I walk out of there with glue/gunk all under my nails.. as well as polish on edges of my toes. This will be my last visit to this salon. Also, when I try to sit and relax it is very irritating when the manicurist is chit chatting with the pedicurist! How rude ! I under stand ever now and then but not the entire time !!! I went today and had my NexGen removed and got a gel manicure and a classic pedicure with gel polish. I was a walk-in, but was able to get in right away. I really liked how efficient their set-up was and how quickly everyone was being serviced. Appointments were respected and walk-ins were accommodated.
