OMG! Nancy is incredible giving pedicures, I always get the aura pedicure and leave with my feet looking like they belong to someone else. Nancy works magic on your feet. There is a fountain in the middle of all the pedicure chairs, which gives a calming atmosphere read more

I've been here 3 times now! The first time, the person who did my nails (Cindy) was very attentive and friendly! The second time I got an older man, who was very hard to work with. He commented that the color I chose was a hard color and asked me to change it. I didn't, and every mess up he blamed on the color. He also took over an hour for just toe polish change. Not even gel, just regular. I came here a third time to try my luck and ended up getting the same old man again. He took sooooo long that I knew at that moment that I wouldn't come back here. I know I can request people but it's always a wait for someone else. Not only did he take close to 1.5hours just for pedi, he also didn't do a good job. The polish top coat wasn't covering my entire nail, the nail polish itself wasn't covering my entire nail. This man needs to stay home!! read more

I really needed to get my brows done, I had my brows micro-blade before and I ruined it by accident. Kim told me she can fix it, did suggest to do microblading if I wanted. She also told me that she could do a tint for now and shape my eyebrows. I said okay, and omg I'm in love! I got so much compliments. Today, I got my nails done! For my nails, I did a black french tip dip. Courtney was the one that did my nails. She is so precise, I love it. We were able to get to know each other, she is such a lovely person. For those who are looking for a nail salon or even a brows treatment, I would definitely recommend you guys to come to this salon place! This salons offers so much more, I have yet to experience. read more

So update from my last review, this time I actually went in for a pedi with my mom and we were immediately taken to the chairs, which was so nice. They took the time to make sure the water wasn't too hot or too cold, literally perfect, and they actually let our feet soak for about 10-12 minutes letting our cuticles soak. The ladies who were doing our pedicures were so kind and helpful with pointing us in the right direction for which pedi we wanted. We both went for the Lavender Pedi which includes 10 min of leg massage time plus the lotion, oil, and wax, and cuticle trim, nail trim, and color. Very impressed and satisfied with the work they did. I will be back. read more

I was really hoping my distracted booking here instead of my normal Bella Nail Bar would have been a happy accident. Sadly, it was a bit of a nightmare. I had to cut and reshape my nails when I got home because my nexgen tips were all different shapes, sizes, and lengths. At the salon I had to ask them to fix things several times - & trust me that's not my norm, but when my nail is getting filed with an emory board so vigorously and the nail tech is so distracted she doesn't see me writhing in pain and my skin bleeding, it's time to speak up. She also dipped one hand 4x and the other 2x and called it a day. I had to say something because my nails were different colors and transparency levels. She said she was sorry that she just kept getting distracted. Yup. My still sore finger knows. I could go on about it and the things I SHOULD have self-advocated for and didn't, but I won't. I'll just say that I wont be going back. Also, when they show you a board of nextgen colors and say they have a regular and gel polish that matches, don't expect it to actually match. My daughter also went here the day before (we wont go into why she didn't warn me lol) and had a similar experience. She also chose from the board. Neither one of our hands and feet match. I gave it 2 stars because my pedi tech while not very enthusiastic, did a good job and was super sweet. read more

These guys are so much fun I love them I go every time I want my nails done. Always respectful kind and do as I ask nicely. It's clean tight and smells good they have flowing water for relaxing sounds. It's nice weather inside as well they always offer drinks and can make you the happiest customer ever. I'm so glad I found a great nail salon in this area because I've been searching for a whileeee. I love the ambiance the moment I walked in, and when I sat down they asked if I wanted anything to drink. I asked for water and they even added lemon and orange slices to it with a straw. I made an appointment with Ivy and she took great care of me. I did a Lavender Pedicure, and she took her time throughout the whole process whilst making small talk with me which I appreciated. I then did the Nexgen (dip powder) and yet again she took her took time and was SUPER neat! I absolutely love how they turned out! In Denton. The nail tech was nice. I was looking for something natural and she showed me the powdered color on an acrylic nail. So I got to use a new color. Had gone in for first time to get Nexgen nails. Or the "powdered" brand they use. The place was huge. Looks like a lot of space that could be used for more. Maybe I just went when I didn't have anyone in the front. I could see a few people in the middle area where you sit in a circular area. Price was good. Haven't gone back but I'm not usually on that side of town. I just couldn't wait until I could get to my usual place. read more

Very happy with my visit today. I was helped immediately upon entering and had one of the best nail experiences I've had in a while. I will definitely be back to have Vy do my nails. My color wasn't turning out the way I expected and she was quick to find another color to help them look more like the color I expected. Visiting Denton Texas with my sister. We decided to treat ourselves and go get manicures and pedicures. Upon our arrival we were there right at the salon opened. Unfortunately we weren't greeted with the best attitude quickly explaining that she had to see if they had openings and for us to wait for technicians to come and happily obliged and waited about 15 minutes. After we were seated we were given the menu which was a little high on the price range but we were certain that it would be OK because the place is gorgeous on the inside. For a lavender manicure pedicure it was $63 and additional fee for gel. My sister had acrylics added to her pedicure. She's on how to proceed to tell them that they were filing them uneven and one toe was squared and one was round by the time we left. During my manicure my cuticle was clipped and I bled the whole manicure. For just my many - pedi alone it was $110 with tip. Unfortunately we will not be back. read more

a friend recommended this place so i thought i would give it a try. bad idea. the building is kind of run down but not too bad. got sat very quick and got to work but it still took like an hour and a half for gel-x nails. it started good and i had high hopes but the shape was not good and so i started losing hope. she applied the color and all was well but she started doing a simple bow design that i asked and it looks SO BAD. seriously. and i was disappointed because my friend said that this place does good designs. idk maybe my tech just wasn't a good artist lol. my tech was super sweet though so that's a plus. just wouldn't really recommend... i think i will stick to my old salon. read more

Me and my roommate decided to get pedis this afternoon on a whim, and were totally blown away! She had never gotten a pedicure before, and I'm so glad her first experience was so top notch! The salon is beautiful, the staff is super helpful, and all wearing masks and insisting on hand washing upon entering. Cynthia did my toes, and Kathya did my roommate's, both ladies were so friendly and did such an amazing job on both the treatment and the polish itself. We both decided to treat ourselves to the milk and honey pedis, and we were definitely not disappointed. I'll be back here next month when my sister visits, I can't wait! read more

Moved to Denton and I was concerned that I would not be able to find someone to do my eyelashes. I cannot go outside without my eyelashes!! Haven't worn makeup in years, except for a little lipstick. Kim is amazing and does a wonderful job on my eyelashes. She uses natural mink lashes, not those fake ones. Never have a problem with glue stinging my eyes. She has also added permanent eyeliner! Full leg wax is very reasonable. I have had other members of the staff do manicure, and pedicure. I cannot recommend this salon any higher, or I would. Full service salon! read more

The nail tech I had was Melanie, I hope I am spelling that right. She was very thorough and took her time. She made sure that I liked the shape before moving on. The color that I originally picked out they didn't have so she helped me pick out another one that very similar to it. The ladies at the front were very nice as well. Cleanliness was very good as well and they have a very wide selection of colors to choose from. The nexgen cost $40 which is a very reasonable price for the service. Will definitely be going back. UPDATED REVIEW: After a change in management this nail salon lost its vibe and the quality of the services performed drastically declined. After allowing time for the new management to get their feet under them running the operation we still found that the nail salon was not what it was previously and what most of are looking for: a relaxing experience and quality "grooming" services. Under the previous management this salon had been a Best of Denton winner multiple times, but there are now better nail salons in Denton that provide better pedicures etc. read more

I was pleasantly surprised that the NexGen manicure was $40, which is the same price as another small nail salon within a 20 mile radius. I have gone about 6 times and each time I was greeted by the owner. He has even brought me water on several occasions. The 2 girls that have done my nails have worked there for over 3 years. They both said they love it and you can tell!! The conversations among the staff are easy to understand and include the customers. If you don't make an appointment plan on waiting a bit for an open chair. Every time I go, all the chairs are full. I don't mind waiting bc I can take my time picking out my NexGen color and pedicure color. Plus the spa is beautiful with a lot of natural light and atrium style. The work they have done on my nails is beautiful!! I highly recommend!! read more

I got my nails done for $60. She did such a bad job, they were not smooth or leveled at all. I still tipped her $5, paying a total of $65 for the worst nail job ever. I was so disappointed because it was more expensive than most places but the service was so bad. My nails looked like cheap stick ons that you get from Walmart. The worst thing is, they came off while I was showering and slowly all of them came off, and this is within a week. I would never go back, and suggest that none of you go as well. read more

Got my nails done for vacation. Needed to fake nails put on was talked into a dip. Really wanted acrylic. The dip did not match the nail color of my other nails in it looked very poor on vacation. Made an appointment for 11 AM to get a manicure and the two nails that had dip soaked off. At 11:30 I inquired as to how long it would be because I had to go to work. I was told maybe it would be 15 minutes but they weren't sure because the other technicians had appointments. This is unacceptable, I do not have time to waste. My nails looked very bad for a vacation and then they couldn't even give me the service that I requested at the time I requested it for. My family and I will never use this salon again, nails look like crap and services very poor. If you have time to waste, money to waste, and your nails to look crappy then use the salon. read more

Winner best nail salon of Denton 2015 & 2016. Previous owners of Spa Pedicures Patrick & Kim Nguyen new Denton location. Spa Pedicures won multiple "Best Of Denton" awards in Denton Record Chronicle from 2007 - 2011. We had a big clientele and outgrew our old location and moved across the street. This place has been open for many years and I've gone there for many years. I'm finally writing a…read morereview because of my last visit. It's always been hit or miss. Less than half the time I go it's great. Like, 30% of the time. The other 70% it's strange or ridiculous. They have frequent customer cards which I have never been able to redeem. Whatever is explained to me, with pointing to the card, I do not understand. The employees will carry on conversations out loud rather than respecting the 'relax' part of the business name. You can clearly hear everything from the mall. When I once did get a table massage the 'therapist' left the door open. I could hear the sounds from the mall and there was no music. It was horrible. My last visit I asked for a 20 minute chair massage and 30 minute foot reflexology. Halfway through the chair massage they changed therapists. The next one's only technique was to crush muscle with his elbow. I asked if he would do the other side of my back- which hadn't been worked on, and ended up getting charged an extra ten minutes for that. Foot reflexology normally consisted of foot massage and then pointed pressure on each reflexology point. What I got was my feet slapped and then scraped, which hurt on the arch of my foot, with a stone. The worst part was that the therapist did not follow draping techniques as taught by the Texas Health Department's Massage guidelines. I was wearing a shirt. At the end of the session my therapist bent one of my knees and pressed it across my other leg (in yoga this is a stretching twist). He allowed my butt to be exposed and didn't bother to move the blanket/towel to cover my backside. At all. At the end of the session he pulled the towel by the corner as he walked away, exposing me since my skirt was up to my crotch- thanks to the stretching. I felt like they'd made me into a joke. They DO NOT practice massage therapy techniques approved or taught by most licensed massage therapy teachers.
