I spent three hours here for a French tip manicure with a flower design, and it was a frustrating experience. The tech used dip powder but switched to gel for the design (which resulted in an additional charge) , redid my left hand twice, and eventually I had to tell her to skip the flower because it was taking too long and it probably would've ended up looking messy. She rushed the French tip design , and they ended up uneven and sloppy. I paid $102 and left disappointed. Definitely not worth the time or money. read more

***Do not go do this business they do not care or stand behind their service*** Original Post: I do not recommend this place to anyone and will never go back. I went in on Dec 30th with a friend to get a Grand Mani and Grand Pedí to get ready to celebrate NYE. As soon as we got back to the house my nails were burning and painful. I figured they had probably over buffed and that the pain would pass. The next morning, the only fingers that were still hurting were my thumbs, which by then I had already noticed the cracks, but that wasn't the end. Throughout the day, the rest of the nails started cracking and chipping away. My hands look horrible with fibers in between the coats, cracking, and peeling. If you were to see my hands you would think my last manicure was over 3 weeks ago. I didn't even have a fresh manicure for even 12 hours. Out of my ten nails, only one stands for now... Update 1-2-22 Both my two thumbs have pealed off completely as well as two of my fingers. I called the salon at 12:16 demanded a refund and getting told they do not messup and it was something I did and got hung up. I am not from the Denton area and was in town just for the NYE. Why would I go back to a place that all they did was damage my nails so bad that they burned and felt sore for a full day? read more

I am visiting from houston and needed my toes done. I called before to make sure they didn't have a wait. They didn't! I walked in and was seated! I picked my color and they have matching toe colors! I decided last minute to do my nails too! They only charge $40 for nails which is crazy! I got the $40 pedicure and hai v was amazing! He dug deep and got all my ingrown toe nails which was a long time coming! It's been about 6 weeks since I've gotten a pedicure but he did a wonderful job! If you're getting acrylic nails this place seems worth it for $40....but I did not. The only reason I didn't just give them one star is because the owner (manager?) seemed like he was doing his best when short staffed and the lady who did my pedicure was sweet. They honestly should have turned me away with today's lack of staff. The owner said it would be 25 minutes, but it was over an hour before my pedicure, then sat waiting after for another 30 minutes for someone to do my just polish manicure. I needed to go the restroom while my toes were drying and asked the owner for some of the thin foam flip flops, which he helped me with and apologized for the wait and mention that he had told the technicians not to rush. The pedicurist obviously listened to his advice, but the manicurist clearly did not. My nails are naturally long and healthy so I just wanted a standard manicure as a treat to myself for graduation. ....I literally could have done a better job myself. The lady rushed and did not shape my nails to even heights, took a chuck out of my left ring finger with the critical clippers, didn't paint close enough to the cuticle/uneven at the cuticle, and the top coat doesn't even cover all of the color nail polish. OH!!! And she made me pay before she even started painting my nails. I asked her to redo the last two nails on my right hand, and they look worse than before I asked her to fix them. Now they're covered in streaks. And on top of allll of that. They had no fan, UV light, or quick dry spay to speed up the drying process. So I had to sit there for 20 minutes, blowing on my own nails, looking miserable and pissed off. Also they gave so many ladies wine and legit only offered me water. I'm almost 30, I look plenty old enough to have a drink. And boy could I have used one. I still tipped 20% because I'm not a monster. But you can bet I won't be back again. All said and done, the 3+ hours process, for a basic mani pedi, was ABSOLUTELY NOT WORTH THE TIME (or money in the end). read more

I got Jenny yesterday and another guy for mani/pedi at the same time because they were out sick. she proceeded to cut my natural nails to the base rapidly because she thought they had tips. Who just does that?! I then had to get tips put on (she made it through three when I caught it) My skin was also filed and I left bleeding and in literal tears from pain and frustration. The dip is so thick, I have no idea what shape she thought she was doing, it's not almond what so ever. I'm including what they look like (the white tips are so uneven) and the pink it what I normally get on my natural nails. And they thought I'd pay full price? Unbelievable. When I came in I had to wait a little because they were so busy, but the got to me very quickly and also let me know that someone would be with me soon, instead of ignoring me. This is my go-to place in Denton! It's reasonably priced and I always get wonderful service on my pedicures. I love getting the "select" pedicure, it's $37 and comes with a choice of either hot stones or paraffin wax. It's the perfect middle ground for pampering but for a good price. The atmosphere is very luxurious and spacious, the staff is always friendly and helpful. Annie has done two of my pedicures and she's great! Update: I wanted to include a comment about the cleanliness at this salon because it's hard to find a place that actually abides by the code. After an hour, I returned to shop, and they said they were still too busy, then I even offered to wait till someone was free and they told me to come back the following day. Update: came back the next day and had to wait another hour before someone fixed my one nail. 3 customers that came in after me went before me. I wanted to hangout with my sister who lives in Denton, and she wanted to relax. I have my nail technician in Keller, and I was hesitant from the beginning about getting my nails done with someone I didn't know. When I arrived I had told the front counter guy that I was very picky. He said he had someone that knew what to do. Once I sat, the guy was rude and certainly wanted quick money because what my nail technician normally takes over an hour to do, he did it in thirty minutes. I always get my nails dipped, and I know how it all works. I had wanted my real nails done this time and wanted my tips removed. He kept insisting that my nails were too short. Shouldn't I have the right to decide what I want. I got tired of hearing him so I said okay and wanted tips. Well, he did something I know isn't right but a way to save money. He left the tips I had on when I know you have to remove them entire set and put on a new one every time you get a new dip color. I had asked him and all he said was he was a professional. I was caught off guard and didn't know what to say. I left it alone and then I had said that I wanted a different color since I was leaving the tips on when he said but you already picked this one. Again, surprised because I didn't know this man like that. When he was finished, I noticed he did not put on the right last coat which was suppose to be matte. My nails were shiny and, I had to stop him and say this isn't matte. He replied with you didn't tell me but I know I did! He did not remove the shine but simply applied the matte covering over it which made my nails look dirty. I left unhappy and I will never return to this location. I wasted $42 that day for nails I wanted to remove as I left but I still have them on because I do not like to waste money. read more
