Love this nail place! I drive from Aubrey to come here. They always do an amazing job and take their time. The pedicure massages are AMAZING! They also always give you free wine or other beverages if you want it. They do a great job and everything is reasonably priced in my opinion. Plus, the staff are so nice and personable. Pics of my friend and I's nails.
If you're getting acrylic nails this place seems worth it for $40....but I did not. The only reason I didn't just give them one star is because the owner (manager?) seemed like he was doing his best when short staffed and the lady who did my pedicure was sweet. They honestly should have turned me away with today's lack of staff. The owner said it would be 25 minutes, but it was over an hour before my pedicure, then sat waiting after for another 30 minutes for someone to do my just polish manicure. I needed to go the restroom while my toes were drying and asked the owner for some of the thin foam flip flops, which he helped me with and apologized for the wait and mention that he had told the technicians not to rush. The pedicurist obviously listened to his advice, but the manicurist clearly did not. My nails are naturally long and healthy so I just wanted a standard manicure as a treat to myself for graduation. ....I literally could have done a better job myself. The lady rushed and did not shape my nails to even heights, took a chuck out of my left ring finger with the critical clippers, didn't paint close enough to the cuticle/uneven at the cuticle, and the top coat doesn't even cover all of the color nail polish. OH!!! And she made me pay before she even started painting my nails. I asked her to redo the last two nails on my right hand, and they look worse than before I asked her to fix them. Now they're covered in streaks. And on top of allll of that. They had no fan, UV light, or quick dry spay to speed up the drying process. So I had to sit there for 20 minutes, blowing on my own nails, looking miserable and pissed off. Also they gave so many ladies wine and legit only offered me water. I'm almost 30, I look plenty old enough to have a drink. And boy could I have used one. I still tipped 20% because I'm not a monster. But you can bet I won't be back again. All said and done, the 3+ hours process, for a basic mani pedi, was ABSOLUTELY NOT WORTH THE TIME (or money in the end).

I went in on Dec 30th with a friend to get a Grand Mani and Grand Pedí to get ready to celebrate NYE. As soon as we got back to the house my nails were burning and painful. I figured they had probably over buffed and that the pain would pass. The next morning, the only fingers that were still hurting were my thumbs, which by then I had already noticed the cracks, but that wasn't the end. Throughout the day, the rest of the nails started cracking and chipping away. My hands look horrible with fibers in between the coats, cracking, and peeling. If you were to see my hands you would think my last manicure was over 3 weeks ago. I didn't even have a fresh manicure for even 12 hours. Out of my ten nails, only one stands for now... Update 1-2-22 Both my two thumbs have pealed off completely as well as two of my fingers. I called the salon at 12:16 demanded a refund and getting told they do not messup and it was something I did and got hung up. I am not from the Denton area and was in town just for the NYE. Why would I go back to a place that all they did was damage my nails so bad that they burned and felt sore for a full day?
I love this place! Best place to get nails done in Denton. Everyone was so welcoming. When I came in I had to wait a little because they were so busy, but the got to me very quickly and also let me know that someone would be with me soon, instead of ignoring me. Mr. D did my nails, he was so nice and funny! I had a great time. The salon is so clean and they even offer complimentary beverages! Johnny was also amazing, and stopped by to check on me throughout the process. The pedicures are amazing too. I got the milk & honey pedicure. I will definitely be coming back. This is my new go-to spot and they also 10% off all services for newcomers! 10/10 would recommend to anyone.
This is my go-to place in Denton! It's reasonably priced and I always get wonderful service on my pedicures. I love getting the "select" pedicure, it's $37 and comes with a choice of either hot stones or paraffin wax. It's the perfect middle ground for pampering but for a good price. The atmosphere is very luxurious and spacious, the staff is always friendly and helpful. Annie has done two of my pedicures and she's great! Update: I wanted to include a comment about the cleanliness at this salon because it's hard to find a place that actually abides by the code. Grand Nails is always so clean and every time I've been I've seen my nail tech open a new package of tools and pumice boards before starting on me. I added a picture to show two brand new packages of tools on the tray my nail tech was using today!
I normally see Justin and Ivy who do great work. I got Jenny yesterday and another guy for mani/pedi at the same time because they were out sick. she proceeded to cut my natural nails to the base rapidly because she thought they had tips. Who just does that?! I then had to get tips put on (she made it through three when I caught it) My skin was also filed and I left bleeding and in literal tears from pain and frustration. The dip is so thick, I have no idea what shape she thought she was doing, it's not almond what so ever. I'm including what they look like (the white tips are so uneven) and the pink it what I normally get on my natural nails. And they thought I'd pay full price? Unbelievable. What a waste of time.

Van did an amazing job on my nails. I have very small nail beds (short) but nails that flair out, and they always look awkward if someone doesn't properly shape them. They are nice and thin, but thick enough I can do thinks like work on my motorcycle and not break them. Everyone was friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed. This is going to be my new spot!
Fantastic! Ken was great - I didn't have to wait at all - I arrived on Sunday at 12:30 the salon was very personable, quick and did exactly what I asked and made my nails perfect! I will be back for sure the warm towel hand wash was wonderful also .. was nice not having to leave my chair to wash my hands .. I'm happy
Okay I am OBSESSED with the set that Ivory (if I'm remembering her name correctly) did for me!! I gave her a picture and she made it even better! It was my first time here and they offered me a student discount and something to drink. I will definitely be back! Thank you Ivory!!

I absolutely LOVE this place! Valentina is amazing and genuinely the sweetest person ever. I can't recommend her enough. The whole vibe is super chill and welcoming, and the service is both quick and thorough. You can really tell she takes her time in the best way and truly cares about her work--I've never once felt rushed. Such a great experience every time! read more
I think I may have found my new nail shop! My first visit went pretty well. Stopped in for a pedicure and was immediately addressed and in the chair. The nail tech took her time and provided really good service. The shop appeared clean, well lit and a nice welcoming environment. read more

I spent three hours here for a French tip manicure with a flower design, and it was a frustrating experience. The tech used dip powder but switched to gel for the design (which resulted in an additional charge) , redid my left hand twice, and eventually I had to tell her to skip the flower because it was taking too long and it probably would've ended up looking messy. She rushed the French tip design , and they ended up uneven and sloppy. I paid $102 and left disappointed. Definitely not worth the time or money. read more

I love this place! Best place to get nails done in Denton. Everyone was so welcoming. I normally go to the same nail salon but due to desperately needing my nails done I ended up at Grand Nail Spa. When I arrived I was quickly greeted and helped! Eric did my nails and I LOVE them! He really took his time and paid so much attention to detail. Upon leaving he ensured me that if I have any issues with my nails to just come back and he would help me. Good service, good nails, I'm happy! read more

I wanted to hangout with my sister who lives in Denton, and she wanted to relax. I have my nail technician in Keller, and I was hesitant from the beginning about getting my nails done with someone I didn't know. When I arrived I had told the front counter guy that I was very picky. He said he had someone that knew what to do. Once I sat, the guy was rude and certainly wanted quick money because what my nail technician normally takes over an hour to do, he did it in thirty minutes. I always get my nails dipped, and I know how it all works. I had wanted my real nails done this time and wanted my tips removed. He kept insisting that my nails were too short. Shouldn't I have the right to decide what I want. I got tired of hearing him so I said okay and wanted tips. Well, he did something I know isn't right but a way to save money. He left the tips I had on when I know you have to remove them entire set and put on a new one every time you get a new dip color. I had asked him and all he said was he was a professional. I was caught off guard and didn't know what to say. I left it alone and then I had said that I wanted a different color since I was leaving the tips on when he said but you already picked this one. Again, surprised because I didn't know this man like that. When he was finished, I noticed he did not put on the right last coat which was suppose to be matte. My nails were shiny and, I had to stop him and say this isn't matte. He replied with you didn't tell me but I know I did! He did not remove the shine but simply applied the matte covering over it which made my nails look dirty. I left unhappy and I will never return to this location. I wasted $42 that day for nails I wanted to remove as I left but I still have them on because I do not like to waste money. read more

I started going here a few years back when they first opened with my best friend Courtney, and we've been regulars since. Johnny always takes the best care of us, and we always get exactly what we ask for. The staff is very professional and always so nice. You really feel at home. I've been looking for a place where they can ACTUALLY shape nails it's been a hard transition moving from Dallas to Denton and finding a quality nail salon! I love getting my nails done and go every month religiously! Guys not only is this place clean! Which is super important during Covid-19 but the staff was super friendly and really did a great job! My nails are on point and they were not over priced at all so I was able to tip more I will most definitely be back when I need new set the picture is my nails a whole week later! No lifting or anything! read more

Wanted to try a new nail shape, she did an amazing job! I really love the thinness and shape of my nails along with the color! The only thing I wish was different is not feeling like i'm being rushed out of the salon. My nail tech did not clean under the nails or remove excess powder until I asked at the very end, which she looked irritated about doing. Also did not check to make sure the length on both hands is the same. Overall, they do an amazing job, I love my nails, and I would return again because of how beautifully she shaped the nails. If you're someone picky like me just make sure you watch the process and make any corrections as you see them since they do care about getting you out of there quickly. read more

Everyone who works here is very talented. I go about once a month and have had multiple technicians do my manicure. I have never been gouged or burned while filing and have near perfect or perfect nails every time. They are friendly, and clean. They have appropriate safety measures in place due to Covid. I will recommend Grand Nail Spa every time. 10 out of 10, would recommend! read more

Second time here...first time was excellent. Mary or Maggie did a great job. This last trip, I had another tech as she was on vacation. I am very disappointed. I have acrylic nails and I asked for ombré. They didn't have the color I wanted but we settled on another color, but that isn't why I'm giving a poor review. My nails are thick, too thick, and they look it, thick humps in the center of the nail. He was sloppy too, I have acrylic residue under my nails. The edges were rough also, I filed them myself to soften the sharpness. I am new to Denton and have not yet found a good salon. read more

Always an amazing experience here. I've never had a problem with any of the staff but Judy always does a great job on my nails & makes sure they're absolutely perfect. They offer discounts to students & they have a rewards program along w great prices! read more
