Polish all over my cuticles, uneven shape, just really sloppy and unprofessional. I did express these concerns to the nail technician who attempted to clean them up, but it wasn't enough. This photo was taken after the second attempt. Needless to say, I left that salon and immediately went elsewhere to have them removed and re-applied. Again, maybe they were just having an off day. I've been getting my nails done professionally for more than 15 years and don't expect perfection. But when you're paying for a salon service, the end product should look a whole lot better than that.

She continued working on my feet and made absolutely no effort to make all of the toes the same shape or anything. I paid $115 which is the full price for my service they removed the same services. I'm upset because she could have put more care and precision into doing my nails. There was not one person here. Just terrible service. As soon as I started to complain they brought over the machine to pay as if they don't need to talk to me about anything as long as I pay. Be mindful where you spend your money and the way that people treat you whenever a service that you're paying for isn't up to par.

Had my first trip to Fancy Nails today and was extremely happy with the entire visit…read more I was immediately greeted when I walked in and The attendant, Nancy, didn't speak very much, if any, English, but she was very polite all the same. She spent almost an hour on my feet and calves and was very thorough but gentle. She didn't make me feel like she was in a rush. Nancy also did a gel manicure, and was also very thorough and did not rush - she re-checked my nails several times to make sure they looked good and checked with me several times to ensure that I was happy with the quality. Also, I had a very sore spot where I had ripped my cuticle and she was extremely careful around the area and was very gentle. As a previous review stated, the only real negative I found here was that they don't have a very extensive selection of polish and a lot of them are old. Also, I had a previous coat of gel polish on that needed to be removed and while receiving my pedi, I was told to soak my fingertips in a bowl of acetone. Maybe this is common to do, but I'm used to the nail tech placing acetone-soaked cotton balls on my nails and then wrapping them in foil and letting it sit. This way, you aren't soaking your entire fingertips in acetone which makes them very, very dry. I had my hands in the acetone for around 40 minutes, but they seem fine now. I just found it odd. I highly recommend Fancy Nails if you are looking for an inexpensive mani/pedi with employees who are attentive and talented.

*IMPORTANT PLEASE READ*…read more As you notice on their yelp page they said by appointment only so on 22nd of April I decided to call at 9am to book an appointment with Mimi for 1pm. I got there at 12:50 and they told me to pick a nail polish. I waited for 30 mins before anyone even said anything to me. They proceeded to move me to get my pedicure done. 30 mins later at 2pm I'm still waiting, my gunfire nails are not done. At this point I'm late for class and frustrated because they are attending 2 white girls that I came before. I was very patient because I didn't want to cause a scene. At 2:30 a guy that works there tells me he's doing my nails, keep in mind I requested for Mimi but I have spent too much time in there already so I just ignored it and sat down. He starts doing my nails and ask me if I like the length and I told him it was too long so he cuts it down. From a coffin shape to a square so I told him to shape it back to a coffin and he said alright he will later. 5 mins into putting the acrylic on he asked me if I like the shape, keep in mind he still hasn't filed it.. I told him not really to be polite and he starts cutting them down . I'm sitting there thinking he's redoing them but he tells me " we are not good enough for you, you should go somewhere else' and he kicked me out leaving my nails like this (pic). I asked for the manager and she ignored me and I have never been disrespected like this and it made me cry all the way home. I did nothing but come get my nails done and I will never come here again and I will make sure I let everyone know about my experience. Please don't go here if you don't want to be treated badly or made to wait for 2 hours just go home with bad nails.

Learn new methods or you will be out of business soon in this rapidly changing business. STORY TIME: this "lady" takes my nails off twice huffing and puffing. I wanted square shape, narrow. She makes them almond shape TWICE, and mocked me when I told her I don't want them pointed at the end ?? like "oh they're too skinny wah wah" lol WHAT?? then, she makes the ugliest ombré I've ever seen in my life using acrylic powder. I tell her after one nail that I want her to make the rest ... better. telling her how to do it. I shouldn't have to tell you how to do your job especially if you've been doing this for years. When I ask her to bring the white higher up my nail, she just looks at me like she is dumb & says she will have to take off the whole nail. I was like... ok? Do what you have to do cus this looks BAD. She starts again, makes the first nail look better then continues to do the rest of the nails half-assed, the same way I asked her not to do. She doesn't even look at the nail while she's doing it, just following routine. Hey honey? sorry you're tired? Take a break then? But you need to pay better attention to what customers ask of you. After looking at my hand (see pic) I saw they looked like sh*t & in defeat was just like just let me do a regular plain color. She looks at me and says I don't think I can do your nails - and cuts them ALL off, even the nails on the other hand and just dumps them in a bowl with acetone. Then goes to work on someone else. WHATTTT SO GARBAGE. DONT GO HERE!! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
