Asked for coffin French tip and was charged an extra $20 for the design and shape. Yet my nails are squared off and already chipping when I just got them done 3 days ago, not to mention they feel so thick my nail beds hurt. The quality is poorly done and when I left there were small air holes in one of my nails. Not to mention the two ladies doing my nails had a horrible attitude. I wanted glow in the dark nails and toes for an event. Before coming in I called and asked if they had the ability to do that. They said yes and I asked how many colors. The woman on the phone said 25-30. I repeated many times to confirm. When I came in I told them what I wanted. They showed me the "selection" which was more like 10 colors, but I could make that work and I picked one. This salon does pedicures first then manicures. I confirmed my color with their team probably about 15 times. Once it came time to paint my toes they then informed me the color I picked did not come in toes. I would not have come in if I knew that and at that point it was too late. I adjusted my plans given the fact it was too late to back out. I finally was on the manicure portion. The gentleman who did my nails was nice enough and they appeared okay when I left. However, my dipping nails anywhere else last me about 3-4 weeks. The first nail came apart within 4 days and it has now been a little over a week and I have 3 nails left on each hand. In addition, I did tell them I was upset about the poor communication with the colors and they told me better luck next time and it was $89 total for the mani/pedi that I did not want that did not last. read more

The whole shop has a great vibe- and everyone working was so friendly and patient with me. The star of the show, though, was Luu! Luu handled my dip-powder manicure with SUCH grace. He helped me pick my color (which I love) then I feel like I blinked and my nails were done. He was very attentive and made sure I was happy the entire time. I'd give SIX stars if I could. The staff here are really friendly. The inside is a lot bigger and nicer than expected. I was disappointed that I got charged an extra $10 for "length and adding tips" when I was expecting the full acrylic set to be $35, but what can you do. I did regular polish because the gel coats $20 extra which seems very high to me. The amount of top coat that was put on my nails was insane and it made the nails look thick and bubbly, as can be seen in the pictures. This was the classic, "What I asked for, What I got," experience. My daughter, a college student, went to this salon based on a recommendation from a co-worker/classmate. She showed the tech a photo of the nail art she wanted and added that she wanted her nails a little shorter. The nail art looked like a kindergartener did it with lumpy finger paint. Before even considering the, 'art,' her nails were uneven, lumpy, different lengths. The evil eyes were neither round nor the classic oval. She tried over and over to let the tech know that they did not look right, and the tech would not listen. Then came the bill. She was charged $104 for this monstrosity including an up charge for, 'long length,' (which she does not have), and a charge for 3 different nail designs, (there are only 2). She expressed her disappointment when she checked out, and she was ignored. She saves her money from her job to treat herself to special designs on occasion. What a rip off. I was about to leave a good review until it was time for me to pay out before I came into the nail salon. I called and asked them about the pricing. I wanted a polish change of gel and a French tip on the phone. He said that will be $33 and that because I'm a student I get a three dollar discount which will turn out to be the total of $30 when I checked out, they charge me 40 and when I told them that it was a mistake they charged me 10 extra dollars to have a French tip when originally when I called I thought it was already included in the price of 33. Not a very good shop. Me and my mother went in here, and they rushed our services. The lines of my french pedicure arent even and there are giant bubbles all in the clear coat. My moms nails were just bad all the way around, not the same shape, not the same thickness, just bad. It was a Monday afternoon so I'm not sure why they felt the need to rush us in and out. They have a notepad and check off what services you want done and what it will cost. They took about 45 minutes, maybe an hour. I have been going to this nail salon for 3 years since I discovered it going to UNT and everyone has always treated me so kindly. As long as you VOICE what you do and don't want or need changed they're happy to make you walk out loving the service you received! I always love the way my nails turn out and they're careful on your nail beds and cuticle, I also don't feel rushed. I've been going here for years so it pains me to write this review. I will not be going back here. The last four or five times I've come, my nails look horrible. Today, I asked for short, square nails with Nexgen. I was given lopsided, uneven, ugly nails. I was charged $55 when the nexgen is $35. Each nail is a different shade because he didn't dip each nail the same. A few nails he dipped twice, and a few he dipped 4 times causing them to literally be different colors. Every time you walk in it seems they are pissed even when it isn't busy. The staff will damage your skin while going way too fast just to get you out of there. I'm so upset, and now I have to go get these removed and pay more just to get my nails to look normal. read more
