We always get the seasonal themed pedicure and absolutely love them This time was the Valentine's package and it was nothing short of amazing. Everyone here is so sweet and kind and we always get seen almost immediately when we arrive even if we don't have an appointment. Today marked my first pedicure in an embarrassingly long time. My feet were in horrible condition and needed all the help they could get. I had a horrible experience at a previous salon that resulted in me contracting toenail fungus. I was forced to pay over $1,000 for laser treatments to eradicate it. That experience and cost made me very hesitant to get another pedicure out of fear of contracting it again. Diana understood my situation and did not judge the horrible condition of my toenails. She took the extra time to make sure that I was relaxed and comfortable during the entire process. I plan on requesting her again the next time I come back. The place is clean and very relaxing. My daughter, father, and I came for manis and pedis and Milano Nail Spa did not disappoint! I opted for the pumpkin pedicure (Fall special) and powder manicure. My daughter got gel on her hands. My father got the tropical pedicure and royal manicure. We all left blissfully relaxed with happy hands and feet. The pumpkin products they used for my pedicure smelled so heavenly. The hot stone massage and pumpkin scrub added to the superbness. Highly recommend it. Lena did an amazing job on my cuticles and gave the best massage I've had during a pedicure. She was super sweet, as well. Cindy did my hands and got my preferred shape just right (I'm picky, so it's not often I leave perfectly content with my nails). I'm very happy with how efficient, friendly, and skilled Cindy was during my manicure. Jason did my daughter's nails and was able to perfectly execute her vision. The technician working on my dad was so patient and kind; my father is unable to use his left arm but she did an amazing and gentle job on his toes and nails. The spa is well-equipped with an upscale, indulgent atmosphere. Make an appointment, because they are busy (with good reason). I always enjoy visiting Milano and tend to go with my girlfriends. They have room for a lot of people, but the space is designed so that there are only about 8 pedicure chairs in each bay. There is a nice selection of beverages ranging from Vietnamese coffee to a glass of wine and everything in between! I also appreciate that the staff has made recommendations that are on point for me. I made an appointment and was helped out pretty quickly. The people at the check in were very nice. I will say though my actual sit down nail appointment could've been a bit better. I feel like my nail tech was rushing (she kept checking her phone and the time a lot) and that resulted in her over filing my nails and pushing the corner of my real nails in too much, she had me cure really fast in between. Like as soon as she was done with an intricate design I was curing for 5-8 seconds I thought it was a little too fast. When she finished my nails, she just told me to go wash my hands because she was done. She didn't look at them or anything she just said ok all done wash your hands and then I was prompted to pay. After going to the front to pay I looked at my nails and noticed the design was off and the color itself was rubbing off. I told the person up front about it and he had the tech go back and fix the problem. She THEN took her time to look at my nails and fix any that were off. I just feel like that time was wasted if it was done better and not rushed. I get people have to be somewhere after work but don't book me with someone who isn't going to pay attention to the details. Especially when I'm paying over $120 for a set not including tip. When I come into nail salon & let the techs knows what I want, I do not want you to tell me what you think is "better" or that you think my nails are in good condition to "fill" when I want a new set. I am the paying customer not the nail tech, so with that being said I should receive what I want because I am paying for the services that I want. Today was horrible I called in my appointments specified I wanted someone who could do design, I arrive & they tell me "techs who do designs are all busy & starting new sets now" does that make sense to be told when I called in an appointment? You're basically telling me a walk in came in & took the tech that was suppose to be doing my nails so I should just settle for whoever when I called for an appointment. Then I sit down with my color I picked & everyone seem to find it FUNNY that I picked a POWDER & not a gel. Literally all had a laughing show. I could go on & on about how horrible the experience today was. But that's it. I wish you'll the best! The last visit was the worst I paid for a $55.50 minute with paraffin dip and the total from start to finish lasted 35 minutes. It was rushed. I had a lot of dead skin around my cuticles that was not even removed my massage lasted about five minutes because he was doing other things during it. He got up three different times and I had a lot of dead skin when I left on my heels. It was probably one of the worst pedicures I've actually ever received. They were very nice. They recently increased their prices, plus their quality of service has gone down. Way down. Made appointment and they started them 30 minutes late ruining my afternoon plans. The products on the pedicure have changed for the worse. You can tell they are going cheap and trying to make more money. They designs my girls got were not carefully done as they used to and each nail was slightly differ t shape than the others. Time to try a new place. I scheduled an appointment online for Sunday afternoon over the summer and the place was pretty much empty. When asked if I wanted a drink I requested a mimosa which I never actually received. The environment was very flashy and it gave Vegas vibes for showy/ catch the eye. It was one of the nicer nail salons I have been into. I let my tech know the style I wanted for Independence Day red, white, and blue nails with red and blue stars on the white nails. My tech said she understood and began putting blue on all of my nails. I showed her the picture again and mentioned that was *not* what I asked for, but she assured me that she had a vision and it would turn out great. I told her I was concerned that the blue color would bleed through the stars, but she insisted it wouldn't. Once she started the stars on my nails she said "oh, it looks like the colors aren't as bold as WE thought they'd be". At that point, it's too late to go back and I didn't want to sit for another hour as she had also put on acrylics. She said she would add on more stars to make up for it, and reluctantly I agreed. She ended up charging me extra for the art she added! On top of that, she applied extra acrylic glue to "keep them from falling off" which glued the underside of my nail to my skin for the entire time the acrylics were on, I had to soak them for an hour to get the glue off. Overall, I feel like the experience was extremely disappointing for over $100 for a manicure that wasn't even the style I was initially going for. They did however, stay on forever from all the glue. It seems like the employees may just need some more training or experience to really pull the experience together, however I will not be going back to this salon anytime soon. read more

Oh my gosh...I had to delete my original 5 star review from two years ago so I could post another review for Milano and this time for a wonderful young man named Johnny. I just returned from getting my nails dipped for the first time in years. I added ombré and chrome to really give a noticeable finish to my nails. As a woman of considerable years it is rare when I feel so taken care of and treated so well in a nail salon. When I tell you that this young man is a magician with his gift for nails, I am not exaggerating. I am not sure that my nails have EVER been this beautiful! And what a kind and hard working young man Johnny is. I am so fortunate to have found him. This salon has very high standards for the work done and they also treat their employees with such respect. It is refreshing but not unexpected as Chloe, one of the managers exudes a level of kindness and professionalism that should be standard in the industry. This salon IS THE BEST!!! Absolutely loved my experience at Milano! They made me feel like royalty and Nancy gave me the best pedicure! There are so many pedicure chairs and stations in this salon, it blew my mind! Not to mention, it is beautiful inside and clean! I barely had to wait as a walk in on the weekend! All the staff were so friendly during my appointment and while helping me pick the best color to go with. I got a dip manicure and a gel pedicure as usual and it was fabulous! They also save your previous colors on file and have a 10 day warranty on your dip manicure!! For the afternoon of pampering I got the price was well worth it and very reasonable. I got my eyebrows waxed and tinted. I wish I could remember the techs name because she did a beautiful job! She even massaged my neck and shoulders while the color was processing.
