I had my nails done by Lynn and she was fantastic! She paid close attention to detail, took her time to make sure everything looked perfect, and was really friendly throughout the whole appointment. Everyone in the salon was incredibly nice and welcoming, and they even helped me pick out my nail color when I was having trouble deciding, which made the whole experience even better. Absolutely 10/10. I came to Eugene to visit my mom and we decided to get our nails done together and thankfully the shop she usually goes to was unable to see us and we came here. BEST IDEA EVER. Amy and Emmy were absolutely amazing. My nails needed a definite refresher. My nails look beautiful and so do my moms. The inside of the he shop is clean and beautifully organized. I had my nails done today in preparation for a trip. This was my third time to go here & was happy before but today was awful! I went with my daughter & tried to make 2 appointments for 11 when they opened. They wanted us to come at 10:30 but I said no because I had another obligation before. So we compromised on 10:45. I hurried to be on time & they kept us waiting! They left me sitting in the water while doing my daughter's toes! Then they did our fingernails one at a time! Just now as I look at my hands I am completely disappointed! The paint does not go to the cuticles & the cuticles are not well trimmed! I have tried so many places in Eugene. Surprised but not surprised to find out they were once known as Queen Nails before changing locations. They may have changed locations and definitely better looking on the inside but the quality is just the same. Expensive for the horrible quantity of work. I gave a review for Queen Nails a few years ago when visiting the State and now Royal nails that I live here. So I had an out-of-state wedding coming up and my daughter bought me a gift certificate for a basic pedicure and a gel manicure. We had made an appt in advance for a Sunday for me and my 10 year old to get a gel manicures, regular pedicures. And for my 21-year-old to get a regular pedicure with acrylic full set. So when we first went in we were instructed and guided to the nail colors on the tabs to pick a color. Which we did and most nail salons have linked their regular nail polish to their gel to a similar color. Well my 21-year-old started getting her pedicure and he started to paint with gel she stopped him and told him no that's regular nail polish not gel. He wiped it off and then very rudely told her "then go find a color" and pointed to a shelf. The young lady I believe her name is Ashley that was doing my 10 year old's Nails asked what number is it and that she can find the color that matches. Very helpful and it wasn't even her client! She also helped me do the same. I chose a color based on the tabs which I guess will only gel and I wanted a pedicure in non-gel that was similar to the same color. So Ashley you get 5 stars, unfortunately this is not about you this is about the business itself. So they move forward with my 21-year-old and they did her thing, my 10-year-old she was put with Ashley from beginning to end and everything ran smoothly I was very happy with her outcome. For me I had to guide him a lot of the way, and my pedicure is just awful! And then my gel manicure I noticed my nails were not filed correctly and kept having to instruct him to file them to correct shape. I will enclose a picture where one of the nails pulled out towards the top. And then 5 days later after being very careful (no dish washing, not long hot showers) hoping it would last until the wedding my gel nail polish start pealing. read more

My family and I have been coming to Nail Royalty, previously known as Queen Nails, for over 10 years. My mom regularly sees Lee, who she gets a pedicure from. We always love their customer service, how they know their customers and make the environment feel so personal. The building space is much larger then Queen Nails was, it's very pretty inside and there are SO many colors to choose from. As soon as we got there for our appointments they had us in the chairs immediately and started our manicure/pedicure. For a gel manicure, gel pedicure and eyebrow/lip wax I believe it cost around $120. Was kinda bummed my hell manicure chipped after about a week and a half but overall it was a great experience and we love coming here. read more

My daughter and I decided to give this salon another try just for the convenience, unfortunately I wish I would of listen to my gut as to why I would never go back from our last encounter. First my daughter wanted a powder color and the male nail technician told her he already started gel so he couldn't fix it, okay so I guess gel it is. After she decided on a gel color due to his own error he literally proceeds to continuously to keep cutting her nail beds with his extremely rough technique. As far as the lady that did mine she was extremely rude, she didn't ask if the shape was correct, so she settled on her own idea of what I asked for. Gee thanks, she never filed under my nails so they are very rigged and rough underneath. Then when she was done she didn't even allow me to wash my hands. Another horrible encounter and a waisted $144. The only thing that was great was the young lady running the front desk. Her customer service was amazing and was engaging with each customer. With all that being said I definitely will never go back. My daughters hands are still raw and I can use my nails as scissors with how rough they are underneath. Another horrible experience and we didn't even get what we asked for. If could give a negative stars I would. Take my advice and save your $65 dollars for a full set and go somewhere else unless you want to be treated rudely, have a set of nails you didn't ask for, and have your nail beds bleeding. read more

The woman who did ask us what we needed responded by laughing and talked to someone else while doing a manicure. We had no idea where the non gel polishes were and had to ask. The nail techs that sat down to begin on our nails did not speak to us or even respond to questions. My heels were not touched at all. The polish was applied and both people stood up and said nothing to us before they walked away. 78 dollars for 2 people to get a sub standard pedicure, we gave 10 each additionally as a tip, but tonight, our feet feel like nothing was done. Kayla did mine and I could tell right away that she doesnt care about her work. my 10 year old son said they looked bad and thought they were press one. i felt like she hated doing what she's doing and like I was making her do it. Thelma had made us both a mani / pedi appt for 1pm. I sat in the chair closer to the big hand at 6. Thelma did not get hers started until 145. She had made the appt with a certain person but the young inexperienced receptionist did not make that note. The man who gave my pedicure was very inattentive. Gave a superficial massage, I had to ask him to work twice at getting the slightly ingrown nail cut correctly. One nail when I got home, I realized had been cut and not removed. Then it started to bleed. When he gave the manicure, again, I had to request him to refile as the nails was uneven and sharp sided. I did not have polish put on, he did not clean under the nails, the cuticles were not pushed back and I had to ask for cuticle oil. I would not recommend this guy! Now with this said, the manager was very apologetic for the appointment mistake and gave both of us a mimosa. Extra points. A discount or free manicure would have been better! Thelma was very happy with her mani/pedi, Vicki is her name and I will request her next time. Yes, there will be a next time. I will give a second chance. Well I gave this place a try for my nails and seriously 60 bucks for a pink and white ombré nail and then charge 10 bucks for extra long as u can see by the picture these are not even extra long they are normal length nails ridiculous if I would of known that I wouldn't have gone in here and the pedi was ok not worth the 50 bucks .... Not even close to worth the amount of money you pay. Both pedicure and manicure were given with cold/lukewarm water. Low effort given to both manicure and pedicure by the staff, I left with a hang nail and the hot towel was just flopped over my legs and left there to then become a cold towel. No heel treatment with a $35 pedicure, not even with the scrapers that you can get from the dollar store. There were also weird videos of snakes, rats, and other animals in weird situations on the TV's around the shop, which I personally found weird and disturbing. The shop itself is clean and nicely decorated but the staff and service are just not good. The man who did my pedicure and manicure was very short with me, rude, and put in little effort to make my nails look good. Your money is better spent elsewhere. read more

Simply put, $22 for color change! I scheduled a manicure, and when I got there she said $22 color or $27 French. No massage, no lotion, no nothing. Simply wiped off small amount of clear, no filing nothing just changed my color charged $22 and talked behind my back for it, left pissed. Never again. read more

Today I went to the salon to get a nail fill and a pedicure. I was charged $98 for them.They have a book that shows that the fill is $28 and a pedicure I had chosen Was $48....obviously the total should have been $76 but like I said I was charged $98. This same book was taken from us and given to another customer with zero sanitizing. If that wasn't bad enough when I first walked in, I asked if they had room for me to get a fill and a pedicure. As well as my friend and her daughter to get pedicures with me. Then I asked what time they should show up after my fill would be over. So I verified twice that they could get in before they arrived. I let my friend know and she came with her daughter. When they arrived we were told that they did not have room for them. Then we were told that they did if we just waited 15 minutes. They started my pedicure first then staggered my friend and her daughter. My friends water was ice cold, as well as her daughters. They left them soaking in ice cold water for easily 30 minutes. Her daughter is a child that did not complain one bit but was very miserable. It was mentioned numerous times without any apology or attempt at fixing it.. They did not start the daughters pedicure until ours was completely done. My nails were clipped incredibly short as well. Barely worth having nails when they are this length. The last time we went to the same salon for a girls night. We ordered drinks and had to remind them twice to bring them to us. We won't be going back. read more

Two years ago when I moved to Eugene I loved coming here, but recently the past couple times I have come in I have felt completely rushed out, and I am paying 50$ for Dip that is chipping after 3 days. Mind you I'm currently not working so it's not like I'm chipping them do to hard labor. I know the process of putting on dip powder and half the time they're not doing it right, so it doesn't last, but I'm not a confrontational person and in the moment I'm always to nervous to say something. I got a deluxe gel pedi and a gel mani. I ended up paying $90 not including tip. I don't think it was worth $90. The massage during the pedicure felt rushed. When it came for the hot stone, it felt like there was too much lotion and the heat from the stone disappeared too quickly. Also, there was another customer there who had a specific nail request and the technician who was about to help her walked away to the other technician and started speaking in Vietnamese and laughed. I had a basic pedicure...spa water was lukewarm, I asked for it to be hotter and a small amount of hotter water was added, still barely warm. The pedicure seemed very rushed, no attention to filing rough spots on my feet, leg massage was minimal and the polish looks just ok. Prices have increased greatly, and and price raise is fine if the service is good. I like to support neighborhood business but I will have to find a new salon. read more
