Uneven edges, none of the colors I picked were used, and it was 50 freaking dollars.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I got a gel manicure and picked out a pretty light purple color. Eileen asked if I wanted my ring finger a different color, I said no but she gave me silver on my ring fingers anyway. I even asked for gold but she said silver would be more "springy". She then proceeded to put the purple color on the rest of my nail. After doing three fingers on my left hand, she complained that it was too light. I told her I liked the color and wanted her to complete the two coats. Instead she took out a different purple THAT I HAVE AT HOME WHICH IS WHY I DID NOT PICK IT! She put the purple on top of the lighter purple and did the rest of my nails. The left hand looks slightly different than the right hand now. In addition, she rushed through the manicure, barely let the gel dry under the uv lamp, and the edges of the nails are gross and fat. There are random parts of the nail that are sharp and poking my finger. I am so annoyed especially because it ended up being a 50 dollar job. Eileen, listen to your clients because they are paying you to get the color or service that THEY want, NOT WHAT YOU WANT. Ugh, what a waste of money.

nails done at nail ridge, so relaxing and great experience. my gel nails came out perfect!

Nails lasted 10 hours. Go to Coco Nails around the corner. Same prices, better staff with attention to detail, and better techniques.

This place could be great if you're very proactive when booking... here's my experience…read more Booked 2 pedicures w/ 30 min foot reflexology, but kept hearing the staff say "30 min foot massage" no matter how many times I repeated "reflexology", and finally resigned myself to the fact that we were just going to receive massages, and that was fine. Reflexology is listed as a service so I'm still unclear with this. My pedicure was fine. The technician was pleasant and I was satisfied. My friend, however, received a terrible pedicure. This technician (I believe she was the receptionist or something) was very unpleasant and discombobulated. She spent most of the time wringing out her long sweater sleeves (that she kept dunking into the foot soaking basin) over my friends feet and complaining. It is also worth mentioning that she kept wiping her nose with her hand and then going back to the feet. Then the massages. My technician, albeit very kind and pleasant, just rubbed lotion on my feet for 30 min with no compression, or even pressure. My friend was luckier in this department and an actual massage therapist came and gave him a proper massage with stones. I was very jealous to see it as we paid the same price & a foot massage was the main reason for my visit- but, it is what it is. Side note worth mentioning: the girl with the wet sweater sleeves literally came back and interrupted my friends massage to complain about a gift certificate to the massage therapist (issue involving another customer), literally halting my friends massage for almost 4 minutes. Lesson I learned and why I'd give it another shot: if looking for a legit massage, ask for an actual massage therapist. This therapist's name was Clara I believe *and my friend claimed she was legitimately good. Some other positives- the place was clean and beautifully decorated. Manager seemed tentative. Most of staff was engaging and pleasant.

After telling me the price, she looked me up and down and told me to "pay now". I was confused because every time I go there I never had to pay before getting a the service done. I thought to myself initially, okay no big deal maybe this is new? maybe someone ran out before paying?. Alice then aggressively asked me "how much do you want to tip". I was confused yet again because usually tip depends on how well the service went, in which I had not yet received having walked in 5 minutes ago. I told her I would tip $10, she sucked her teeth & I felt pressured to tip her more. So I said I will tip you $15 actually, assuming it was going to be a good service Based off past visits. I was wrong. She didn't ask me if the pressure was okay, she just started going in. What was supposed to feel relaxing ended up hurting. I have had many massages and trust me I can take pressure. But she was massaging me as if she was aggravated. When I spoke up and said "ouch that hurts, she proceeded with the same exact pressure I just expressed concern about", completely ignoring My discomfort. Heres the part where I realize I was racially profiled. This white man walks in (I heard his voice) and she immediately tells him which curtain to go behind. He did not have to pay before getting the service done. Same with the other white lady next to me. When she finished me up, I asked her why did she only make me pay first She held her breathe and said oh because those customers are returners and new clients pay upfront. I was confused because I've been there before. Maybe not consistently but I have been there atleast 7 times and no one has ever took a payment upfront. The problem isn't paying first, I was going to have to pay for the service regaurdless. The problem was the assumption that I couldn't afford a $70 massage, so to be on the safe side you charged me before providing me with the massage. if you're a POC go here at your own risk
