I made an appt for a spa manicure and pedicure. I was seated with a nail technician who became visibly annoyed when I said I was not getting a gel manicure. I was then moved to another technician. I spoke to her about what I was looking for- she convinced me to try an organic gel polish that lasts longer than the regular (at least 3 weeks). It was a very fast service. I was then escorted out to pay without my pedicure. I spent so much money on my manicure that I let it be. And my manicure has already chipped and I'm only on day 6. In general I'm very disappointed because I have heard such wonderful reviews. It may be the type of salon that caters to its regular clientele. I would have become one of them if it was a better experience and my manicure actually lasted the appropriate amount of time. I can get 6 days out of a regular polish.

My nail tech was named Lee. I said I wanted blue tipped french nails with dip polish, but he…read morethought I meant a blue base with white tips. It was an honest mistake. But when I corrected him after he had already started working on it, he got very angry and then started aggressively putting the pinkish clear polish over my old nails that he had not buffed out and fixed up properly because he had originally intended to put blue paint over them (that would cover the imperfections), and I could see white scuffs through the pinkish clear polish. Confused, I asked, "Will you still be able to see the white scuffs once it's done?" He said, "I guess..." Then I said, "well that doesn't look great, so maybe we can pick another color?" I picked red because he didn't seem to think he would be able to fix the white scuffs on my nails to do a French manicure with pinkish clear polish (though I've had many other nail techs do this in the past). He took off the polish that he had started and then he began applying the red paint. Trying to diffuse the tension, I apologized for the confusion. He said nothing. Several minutes later, as he continued putting the red polish on, I said, "that color looks nice." He responded, without looking me in the eyes, saying "you should've picked that color from the beginning because then you wouldn't have wasted anyone's time." I was dumbfounded because it was entirely his mistake??? And after all of that, the red nails look absolutely horrible. I'm never coming back here again!
