Quality not worth the prices. She rounded my toes without asking and they were uneven. I asked for a French pedicure and the lines were uneven so I gave up and switched to all white gel pedicure. They also don't scrub feet and had to lotion my own feet (they don't put lotion at the bottom of your feet). Had to pay $60 for the gel pedicure. read more

I am very unhappy with the way this salon has turned out. I have been coming here for years and never had a problem until recently. I have not been greeted, and when I am it is with an attitude. The staff never tell you how long the wait time is, or that there is one in the first place. The quality of staff has gone down as well. I have stopped coming as my last two visits were beyond unsatisfactory. My nails chip within a few days and my toes don't last either. I came back one day after getting a manicure to complain that the polish was already chipping and the girl asked me what I did. There was no apology for the rush job that ensued the day before. Went to try this place out - especially because it was a Monday and I was in desperate need of a manicure. As soon as I walked in, I was impressed by how welcoming everyone was. The salon was clean and always attentive. A PLUS was the warm wrap that they out around my neck and shoulders (the woman behind me fell asleep because she looked so comfortable). Then I got an unexpected deep tissue massage. Again, everything was really A+ for my first time visit - I have also got many compliments on my nails. read more

Dolce has gone completely downhill. I used to come here regularly, never again. Went in for a pedicure recently. Woman was so busy chatting that she filed part of my skin from my toe. I complained, and she looked and realized that I was BLEEDING. So she tried to hide the blood with her hand as she forced my foot into the water. I made it clear that blood was running down my toe. No apology, put alcohol on the cut-which hurt like hell. Went about her business. Sloppy, unprofessional. Was charged full price of course. Absolutely terrible. Nails are always consistently done and it's a good choice for a standard manicure or pedicure. If you want hot stones, it is a $10 charge and the prices are never posted for any service save the massage (10 minutes for $10) - everything is clean though and speed of manicures/pedicures is average. I am not sure, but I don't think they would be good on a lunch break, not quick enough. Go on a Saturday morning or afternoon. read more

Excellent service! Attention to detail. I moved to CT after living in manhattan for 13years. I have tried several nail salons in the area but nothing compares to the value for your buck at Dolce Nails. On Monday thru Wednesday they offer a $40 special mani/pedicure/massage. They started with a complimentary neck massage. My pedicure included a scrub, buff, stone massage & callus remover. It was super relaxing!! Clean & well priced. Everyone is super friendly. I stopped in this salon for a shellac manicure on Monday this week, and the technician seemed to be very meticulous, which i appreciated. However, when i got home I noticed my cuticles were not uniformly cut at all - some seemed to be not trimmed at all, some were completely removed and there were some that still had small skin pieces hanging off of them. By today (Thursday) the corners of the polish were loosened enough that the polish popped off in one piece. Once 2 popped off on their own, I was able to remove the rest myself without any trouble. In past experience with shellac, trying to take it off myself the same week would have caused major nail damage but it was as if these were hardly adhered to my nails at all. I hate to leave a bad review, but when you pay for something that should last at least 10 days, its disappointing to only get 3 days of use. read more

This place is horrible ! I will never come back here I came in to do my nails and when I went to pay one of the ladies demanded tip money from me. So I gave her tip and then she said that's it for tip? I've never been demanded to give tip after I get my nails done ever ! I don't have to give you tip and they overly charge people here . While doing my nails she rushed doing them and had a second person working on my other hand . You don't need 2 people to do someone's nails... DONT EVER COME TO THIS PLACE !!!! read more
