I made an appt for a spa manicure and pedicure. I was seated with a nail technician who became visibly annoyed when I said I was not getting a gel manicure. I was then moved to another technician. I spoke to her about what I was looking for- she convinced me to try an organic gel polish that lasts longer than the regular (at least 3 weeks). It was a very fast service. I was then escorted out to pay without my pedicure. I spent so much money on my manicure that I let it be. And my manicure has already chipped and I'm only on day 6. In general I'm very disappointed because I have heard such wonderful reviews. It may be the type of salon that caters to its regular clientele. I would have become one of them if it was a better experience and my manicure actually lasted the appropriate amount of time. I can get 6 days out of a regular polish.

There is no place in the waiting room to escape the noise (and the cluttered, visual display of random merchandise). In the pedicure area, the music was just as loud. I expected a quiet, spa-like experience for my overpriced pedicure and was instead met with a cacophony of noise. Beyond disappointed in this dramatic downfall.

Each time I come, I have received five star treatment. My nails are impeccably manicured (j choose the powder gel manicure) and the massages are the best. All of the employees work together like a family. The first time I came, it was because I was attending my mothers funeral. Esther felt so much for me that she walked me out to my car afterwards, and she continues to ask how I am doing each time she sees me. She also gives out little token gifts during certain times of the year (ie, Christmas) and decorates the salon so beautifully. I could go on and on about my experiences at Spa Grace!! Again, my nails were paper thin and you can see it in the photo. I received an email saying that they could try to squeeze me in the next day. Again, not to be dramatic, but it literally felt like my life was ending. The manager took time out of her own shift and help me with my nails. Although they couldn't do a complete removal (my nails were so brittle any type of shaving would cause more damage). I was treated with the utmost care. They did everything they could and save my nails. Honestly, so thankful for their time and generosity. I got to keep my nails for the trip to Italy and that made me really happy.
