One Nail & Spa - Nail Salons Near Me - Stamford, Connecticut

The best SNS in this area of CT, hands down. I honestly thought I'd have to keep going back to my favorite spot in Manhattan to get the quality I like, but Cindy completely proved me wrong. She is meticulous, talented, and my SNS is as I want. If you're picky about your nails like I am, she's the one to see! read more

DO NOT GO HERE! If there was an opportunity to give this business a zero, I would. I originally walked in for a French gel pedicure. The nail tech did my left foot first then moved onto the right foot. All of the lines were different sizes. She took them off about 4-5 times. After this is opted to just get a solid blue since the French was too much. The manager was called over and told me that no one was going to fix it. This is as good as it would get and that I can just leave. I left with my toes bare. For NYE. The manager "Cindy" is rude and unprofessional. Awful experience read more

Love this place! I've gone 3 times since May and had a great experience each time. Today I got gel manicure and regular pedicure with Coco. She was efficient and meticulous and cleaned my nails well :) Rosa did my gel manicure and spa pedicure last time and did amazing as well! I can't remember the name of the male who did my spa pedicure the first time but was also great!! My nails have lasted 3-4+ weeks each time which is great considering I am constantly washing/using my hands for work. Really impressed. It's clean (clean bathroom too) and relaxing. I love the steam feature they have when you do a spa pedicure. I used to go to Color City in Newfield but didn't love the my mani/pedis the last few times I went. Glad that my friend put me on to One Nail & Spa. I do recommend to call and book appt via phone ahead of time esp if you're going after work. read more

I spent well over 200$ and I wasn't thrilled not having the older man do my nails because he does such a great job. I use to go to him when I was a teen and just him. But this lady took me in and I had an event to go to but now the nails are peeling and the shape is kind of rough and unsightly. I knew this would happen because you don't need to overly layer a gel polish and I know because I use to build my own nail and design. But sometimes it's nice to do something kind for yourself. Love my toes though, 下一次我想让那位男美甲师帮我做。 read more

I moved to Stamford last summer and tried out a few nail salons to find my new place and One Nail still holds the position of Queen. They have a relaxing environment, an abundance of color options whether you're getting a regular, gel or powder manicure. I love the spa pedicures. I've yet to have a bad one. Coco did my nails today and she is efficient but also a perfectionist. There's also a younger man that does nails and he is quite good too. I don't know the name of the man that does the massages but he is great. I am chronically stressed and his strong, firm massage is amazing. So glad I found this place. I'll never stray! read more

Downhill since they changed hands, the new owner is very rude. I called for a manicure he told me to come, and when I got there (10 mins later) he looked and me and said no. I was 9 months pregnant trying to get my final manicure. That was the final straw, I was already unhappy because it seemed they changed the gel top coat and my manicures weren't lasting. I had been going there since 2020 but it's not the same as it used to be and they have lost my business! That being said it is very clean inside. read more

Please pay attention to the negative reviews and do not go here. If I could give it a zero, I would. What an awful experience. My friend and I came here for pedicures. They immediately handed us a book to choose the spa pedicure and seemed very judgmental when we said we weren't interested. After looking at the options more, we decided to opt in and treat ourselves to a little extra treatment. My friend didn't choose her color when we walked in (we weren't instructed to, so we assumed they would hand us swatches to choose from as most nail salons do now). When she told her pedicurist that she hadn't chosen one, she mumbled under her breath then said something we didn't understand to the woman doing my pedicure. Which also continued to happen throughout our experience and made us feel like we were being spoken about. My pedicure was awful. She didn't cap the free edges of my nails so I'm sure they will chip in no time. She missed half of the nail on my smallest toe. She also did not apply the polish fully (there is a gap of space between where the polish begins and my cuticle) so it looks like it has already started to grow out. I also asked that she only push my cuticles and not to cut, but instead she did nothing at all to my cuticles. When my friend handed her pedicurist her tip, she walked away and mumbled "hm. not much." Which she then repeated a SECOND time when the male employee asked her what she said. Less than sub par experience. Made to feel uncomfortable. Find somewhere better. Don't waste your time, money or effort. read more

Quick, gentle and relaxing manicure. Lucy did my nails and they look great. Didn't like the fact that my nails were not soaked in the water before pushing skin and I believe a job with cuticles could be done better. It was just very soft, very mild cuticle treatment. Still have lots of dry skin around nails left. The fact that they didn't know how much to charge me was questionable. $32 for gel manicure and 10 extra for glitter? They didnt know how much I should pay. Paid $42 which I thought was too much read more

This place takes safe COVID measures, they have great quality products. I know this because after 3 weeks not one part of my gel nails started to chip or peel up. This place was not welcoming at all & they did a horrible job on my powder dip manicure. Came here for powder dip mani - the lady was nice enough but, she applied the powder SO thick & didn't file it down so it looks natural. It looks terrible. She also baked on the powder with UV light which powder doesn't need if done right. I won't return here. read more

I'm always skeptical when I see great reviews on yelp but literally this was the best nail salon and mani pedi I've ever had. Convert for life, won't shut up about it now. Rosa was amazing. Walked in without an appointment Wednesday at 5PM and there was no wait. Amazing selection of colors and long wear polish for only $3 extra. I used to go to Posh in Greenwich every two weeks but they really went downhill and have been rude so I'm over the moon that I found a new spot. I'm telling everyone about how great this place is! For only $49, I got the most meticulous mani pedi ever. Rosa did an incredible job with a red polish on my toes, taking great care with cuticles and ingrown cutting. Shape is perfect and polish is even. She was very gentle with filing on top and cuticle cutting - no blood or frayed fingers. She was very careful painting the nail too, looking at the polish in the light for even application, touching up the tips underneath, and I'm just shocked this whole experience took an hour. The above and beyond details like the moisturizing gloves and leg massage were sooo special. I felt so relaxed and pampered. The place was super clean too, I appreciate they're very careful with COVID protocol. All around 11/10. Take all my money. Customer for life. read more

It was a mediocre nail salon. I paid $35 for just a color gel which to me seems a little higher then it used to be. They had a good color selection. I went in having French they had difficulty taking it off. Then when I asked about possibly doing French again the girl pushed he color gel probably because she couldn't do gel. That was make or break it for me though. She did a good polish job. Nails a bit uneven but I did tell her not to cut the other ones. Overall if you are looking for quick simple but a bit of a higher price this was fine. read more

Tried this place out on a Tuesday evening. It was pretty quiet inside and I was taken immediately. The decor is very nice and the music is calming. The staff was very nice and inviting and the lady doing my nails made great suggestions for me. They had a ton of gel colors to choose from and the lady doing my nails was very thorough and paid attention to detail. I was even offered a free massage during my visit (can't say no to that!). I also got my eyebrows waxed and the lady was very gentle and did a great job. As a new business they are giving customers 30% off every visit up until March of 2020! My suggestion is park in the home goods lot and walk over as their lot is a bit small. Will definitely be back again soon! read more

Never againnnnnn! Felt like I was rushed and nobody was in there! The girl that did my nails was rushing and so rough with me. My toes felt like they were being tortured. The girl asked if I wanted her to do my cuticle and cut my toenails and I said no!!' Definitely don't want to give her anything to cut me..it was terrible..this person seemed inexperienced and very likely unlicensed! I tried to communicate with her and tell her that she was being rough but unfortunately she did not understand English. Why should you put someone like this in the salon?!! Hands down worst experience. read more

Normally a good experience but depends on who you get. Lucy did my manicure and pedicure on Thursday. The pedicure was fine, but a bit rushed. My gel manicure however was a disaster. She didn't fully take away the previous gel and started with the next. Halfway through her other client came in so she rushed. Not cleaning any of the lines and ceiling my nails to my skin. Once done I looked and there were peaks on my nails. I pointed them out, she touched and said "it's already set" like "too bad". And then walked away and went to her other client. Are you kidding me?!? I paid and left. Went outside in the light and saw that half of my hands looked like this, one had so many spikes of gel it could have been a dinosaur. I went right back in and demanded them to be fixed. I had to have 4 nailed completely redone and the others has to be fixed to remove the excess set polish that fused my skin to my nails. Now today, Sunday only 3 days later my gel is peaking off in sheets. What an absolute waste of money. Just because your next client comes in doesn't mean you're done with the client in-front if you. She was completely unprofessional and should not be working in a service industry. If you have Lucy as your tech get someone else! read more

Moved to Stamford a few months ago and struggled to find a place for SNS manicures...until I found (the) One! Their staff is extremely professional and capable- I have never left unhappy and with something I loved! I also appreciate that they stay true to their appointments! I've been to many salons where I end up waiting a long time or don't get the person I asked for, which has never happened here. Speaking of, I highly recommend making an appointment in advance! It's always lovely walking in and being immediately seated with someone ready to go. You also can't beat the price! This place is substantially lower than a few others I tried ($45 for SNS) and they have a very large collection of colors! The owners also check in regularly and will often hand out waters and massages. Love love LOVE this place!! read more

We first visited One Nail & Spa after it's grand opening in April 2022. They were offering half off services, so we had to try. The space is absolutely lovely. Super clean and we'll designed. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The menus are great, and I especially appreciate the boxed kits that allow for clean, sanitary experiences. I especially appreciate the hot stone massage added to the coconut lime pedicure. All in all One Nail has been reliable and great at providing a solid manicure/pedicure experience. read more

I had the best pedicure with Rosa. She was friendly and professional. Every aspect of the service was perfect! I loved the steam blowing as I got my foot/leg massage. My experience was horrible. I had my nails done (gel manicure) by Kevin (owner's brother?). He was harsh, rude, and brash. Is this good customer service? No! He filed and drilled my nail plates until there was only a thin covering! I should have just walked out then. I regret not having done that. When I asked him not to do so much drilling and filing, he just laughed. And then, when he didn't think I had my hand close enough to him, he pulled on it hard toward him. If I moved my head even the slightest he'd get upset. When he wanted me to put my hands under the light he'd tap my hand hard. Ugh. Horrific experience. And he'd laugh whenever I got upset with him and asked him to please be gentle. Only 2 days afterward the nail polish chipped. And now only 10 days out almost all of the nails are flawed. I don't know about the other manicurists there, but I bid you great caution if you have this person! read more

I was here for the first time today. The place is very clean and professional. They have ton of colors to choose from. There wasn't a wait at the time but there was definitely a good amount of people getting manicures and pedicures. I recently moved to Stamford and needed to find a new nail place. I did some research and decided to go with One Nail & Spa. To start, the place is immaculate and they have so many color options, including the Essie Gel and other fast drying options (of course for an extra fee). There is a large TV in view of all the pedicure chairs, if you're into that. I was greeted very nicely as soon as I walked in. I ended up having Ines do my pedicure and if you're like me and really go mainly for the massage, I highly recommend her but you'll have to pay to get one of the spa pedicures with the massage. I did the honey spa pedi which included a scrub, a moisturizing wrap, a hot steam machine during the 10 minute massage which included hot stones and it was $43. Pretty amazing! After the massage, they needed Inez to do a gel pedi so the girl who greeted me, Christina, (not in the spa uniform so I assume a manager/owner of some type) painted my toes and did my gel manicure. She was very fast while also doing a perfect job which I love because who doesn't want that!? I highly recommend this place and can't wait to go back! read more

After this location changed hands to One Nail & Spa I went there 3 times. I was impressed and satisfied with my pedicure the first two times. However the third time was the last! I came away with the skin peeling around the nail on my big toe; as well as the toe being red and inflamed. Also my other big toe was nipped by the clippers and none of the toenails were cut short enough. And I gave a nice tip, too! Silly me! Needless to say, I am looking for a new nail salon. read more
