I have been going here for years and cannot understand why people aren't running here - the quality, professionalism and treatment of their clients is amazing. Tonight after one of the best pedicures, manicures and 20 minute massage - it was raining buckets . They ran to get a large umbrella to walk me to my car. They exceed in customer service!! I paid $25 for Dazzle Dry color and the tech did not heat the bottles as other salons do. I asked her about omitting the step but she didn't seem to understand. My polish is chipped on every nail at 24 hours. It usually lasts for 2 weeks. I also felt that she was using tools that were not sterilized between clients because she put them back in the drawer where they came from without cleaning them after using on me. That made me feel queasy. I would not recommend. read more

This is the best nail salon in Greenwich! Slightly more expensive but the quality is far higher than other salons in Greenwich. Each time I've gotten gel nails they last 2x longer because they're done so well. I had a chip on one of my nails and came in with no appointment and they happily fixed it. Finished my coffee on the porch. It's a nice place to relax. I am always welcomed at the door with smiles. Rose nail is very clean. I would like to add that I got the french shellac manicure from Liliana. She did an incredible job. She treated each nail individually & really spent her time shaping my nail. They soak your nail to take off previous gel. And are gentle in removing it. They use a hot towel with eucalyptus on your nails & give a great hand massage after with lotion. If I lived here, I would make this spot a regular! read more

I went to get my nails done here yesterday and the lady was quite nice but did not know how to properly fill false nails. I came in for a fill. They did not offer acrylic so I was stuck with the gel. My pinky nail broke the day after and immediately after having them painted the nails looked bubbly and spotty. They might have used some expired or old nail polish because it came out horrible and sticky and bumpy. read more

Please please please stay away and go anywhere but this nail salon. I was a loyal customer for a few short months upon moving to the area. But oddly, my services changed in price every single visit and the ladies could never articulate why it suddenly creeped up in price. In the meantime the manicures and pedicures were only OK at very best and varied greatly depending on who was doing the service. I only kept going back due to convenience and the women were friendly overall. However I had my kids in with me recently, and was offered "kids manicures and pedicures" ...without telling me up front that the "kids" price is actually just a full spa pedicure (?!) before I knew it I was being charged over $200 for kids services - totally outrageous and also very manipulative. When I tried to reason with them it was useless and I left feeling totally and completely ripped off. I will never, ever return here. Besides the services being subpar the prices are astronomical compared to other local nail salons. Muse on Putnam or Coco in Riverside are better bets or one of the other million of nail salons within a few mile radius. Just please don't go here, you will be ripped of and in all honesty, you nails won't even look very good. read more

I've tried several salons in Greenwich and I think this is my fave. Prices are low, until you start getting into the special stuff, and it's clean and convenient. Located in a house so it's nice and cozy and they recently renovated, so it's less shabby and more chic. Ask for Gina, she's the best. read more

I've been coming here since I was 2 years old and now I'm 21. I've never found a place better than Rose nails. They're incredibly detail oriented on your nails and I always feel satisfied after going. The prices are all listed on the wall so you know exactly what you're paying for. They don't do acrylic services but their standard, silk-tip, and dip extensions completely make up for it. Aug 22, 2018, The two workers at Rose Nail, named Lily* and Maria, made fun of and laughed loudly at my 15-year old daughter who was the only customer at the time, and they also made atrocious mimics of their Korean coworker, plus ridiculing the entire ethnicity of Korean people in general. All spoken in Spanish while they were polishing my daughter's nails. Guess what? My daughter understands the language. I had left the place after paying for mani + pedi + tips, promising to return to pick her up. In less than 10 minutes, my daughter texts me to come back telling me how rude those women were. The owner didn't take any actions towards them when I explained what had happened but apologized to me for their employees. When I demanded that it's those women who should apologize to my daughter, the repeated response was that they would deny of the accusations and that it'd be dealt with later. At one point, the owner even suggested that my 15- year old take the matter into her own hand and stand up for herself. This is when I knew not to expect any senses from them and stopped talking. The stories of nail salon workers making fun of their customers right under their nose are no longer just something I read about on news article or social media. Seriously the best in Greenwich. A small salon in Cos Cob, the technicians are friendly and efficient. My pedicures last weeks and my manicure lasted almost as long, and I'm pretty tough on my hands. I especially recommend Gina and Jennifer. read more

I have been going to rose nails for years. They do an excellent job with their spa pedicure. It's pricey but worth it! Only thing that I would appreciate more is if they would at least give me one free spa pedicure service after 10 visits si nce I have been a loyal customer for years. But they never do. The mani-pedi was lovely, but don't get a massage here. I have been to the city and to Coco for a back massage, and I haven't really had a worse one than what I experienced here at Rose. I got the same thumbs digging into the same spots for 20 minutes, she did not go below my upper back, she did not do the skull massage at the end like the pros do-no technique. It wasn't her fault-she obviously hasn't been trained. The worst part was when I confronted the owner about it, instead of apologizing for my less than stellar experience, she argued with me. They also charge 15$ for 10 minutes, which is more than Coco which is a much nicer salon. read more

Overpriced for less service with untrained nail technicians. Nail clippers, cuticle cutters and nail files are not clean and sanitary. The pedicure soak tub was not clean. Get you to believe you need another service when you went in for one service...very pushy. Had a manicure/pedicure by an unskilled person and the next day my nail polish chipped, my nails broke on 3 fingers and a couple of toe's polish chipped off. Callouses are not addressed at all.They make believe they are cutting cuticles and do the minimum for a very expensive $35 plus tax and tip. They charge for a massage too which is complimentary in other salons. Will not go back there again. read more
